Where to buy Lg OGP for $99 - LG Optimus G Pro

My cousin told me he went to frys palo alto and bought an OGP for $99 on new contract and it comes with $25 gift card, i am not sure if upgrading will include the gc, but he said that upgrading too is only $99, call your local frys and let me know, i might be heading there if i got time after work.

Just checked the Fry's website, and that's what they're offering it for (limit one per household). Great deal.

AT&T is also running a promotion currently where you trade in an old device and they give you a credit towards an upgrade. I traded in a Skyrocket and got the OG Pro for $130-ish with tax and upgrade charges.

But frys is a better deal $99 + $25 gift card, and you can even sell you skyrocket fro $50 or more, don't you think?

Any idea regarding Fry's and how I keep my unlimited data plan?
Won't upgrade to LTE unless I can keep my 'unlimited' data plan...

According to AT&Ts website, the credit will be in the form of an AT&T gift card that can be used at any company owned store, their website, or towards your bill. If you get the phone at Fry's, and use the $100 credit towards your monthly bill, your new phone will basically be free. Sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me.
FYI, Fry's won't ship AT&T phones, so you will have to live near one.

Got mine from Costco. I know I can trade my old phone in and get it for free. I'd rather pay the money and get a no question asked phone exchange and full refund, no restocking fee if I decide to cancel my upgrade. 2 years ago I bricked my Thrill 3 months after buying from Costco. They changed it no questions asked.

16gb Verizon Galaxy nexus?

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/...etail&selectedPhoneId=5989&deviceCategoryId=1
I was browsing verizons website and came across this. I also cannot find the 32gb model on their website anymore. Just thought I'd point this out as its quite weird they would change this so late in the product lifecycle. Perhaps this indicates that Verizon plans on carrying the new nexus.
Probably a mistake.
Yea probably a mistake. I can't see them halving the memory almost a year later.
I remember Verizons site had several mistakes before. Its amazing how anyone sells technology these days. Back in my day, displays were all technical and legendary. Now your lucky to get any good accurate information.

Eh, give me a minute. I will confirm it with a store manager myself.
Edit:
Just talked with him over Gtalk.
No change was announced from 32GB to 16GB.
He did say that the Razr saw some SD card size changes though.
I've noticed this too. However, on Amazon Wireless, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is still listed as 32GB. (Links disabled due to my post count, sorry.)
Just last week it was listed as 32GB on VZW.
Looks like the below is 32GB, while it is pre-owned I've had good experiences with vzw pre-owned devices. Tough to beat the price:

I just bought my Galaxy Nexus from BestBuy about 3 days ago. I thought it was a 16GB version, like they all are. Apparently, it's 32GB... brand new. The guy looked at me as if I should have known that, since I was surprised I was getting twice the SD Space for the same price.
Not sure if I got lucky or what... but it's a brand new and 32GB.

There are 2 listings on Verizon - a 16gb with a full retail price of $499 and a CLNR 32GB for $229 no contract or free on contract. If it's a mistake, it's a pretty big one on Verizon's part.

I think I got a good deal?!?

I woke up to an email from http://lastcall.dailysteals.com/ and saw the International Note 2 for $580 plus $5 shipping. I remembered I had a $150 paypal balance, which brought the Note down to $435.
I am on AT&T so I will miss the LTE speeds, but I think thats a small price to pay when I saved over $200.
Bye bye iPhone 5

Save $200 where? The ATT note 2 is $650 outright. And I know you had PayPal balance but you could have easily had someone buy a note 2 outright from ATT and then you could have paid them through PayPal, using that balance and paying them the rest. You would have paid 70 more for lte

[Q] Galaxy Nexus GSM Price?

Can someone tell me why anyone would pay $350 - $400 for a new Galaxy Nexus when the Nexus 4 is already out? I see these phones selling like hotcakes on Ebay and Amazon for $375 on average. I own one and I own a Nexus 4. For the same price I would much rather have the 4 even if I had to wait a while. That's not to say the Galaxy Nexus isn't a good phone, I like it just fine, it's just that at the same price point it doesn't make sense to me to not get the 4 which is an upgrade in just about every hardware aspect.
I see them used still fetching $250 - $300 which I suppose is more reasonable but I would think $200 - $250 would be more appropriate for phones that have over a year old hardware and some light scuffing, etc..
Can someone enlighten me as to why this phone is holding onto so much resale value at this point?
I feel like I must just be missing something. Thanks.

Part of it is due to the higher original cost of a Galaxy Nexus. Also the N4 is very underpriced from Google Play. Optimus G is msrp of $549.

Galaxy Nexus now or wait one year?

I have the OG Droid RAZR with grandfathered unlimited data on Verizon. My next upgrade is in May 2014. A local retailer has the Verizon Gnex at only $430 (full price, new.) So I am asking Gnex owners whether you would spring for the Gnex now, if you were in my position, or wait one year to see what's available then. I like my OG RAZR, but the Gnex is appealing to me.

$430 for a Smart Phone is just unbelievable, I personally don't know what I'm going to do when I want to get a new phone ( I currently have a Galaxy Nexus with Unlimited Data). I guess I will be a couple generations behind and wait a good year and a half. I can justify buying a smartphone for $200 dollars. You can actually buy a new Galaxy Nexus on Ebay for $200.00 I would do that if you need a phone right now.
I appreciate everyone's advice. You have some very helpful people in this forum!

Since you like your current phone and not in a hurry; I'd say wait for the Nexus 5. It's unlikely to be revealed on tomorrow's I/O but should be released by November or something, and should come with Android 5, So it's worth the wait and I believe you could get an unlocked version from Google Play Store for less than what you are willing to pay at the moment.
like the person above said, I suggest you wait until the next nexus comes out in November. Plus, $430 for the galaxy nexus is outrageous and you could get it for $200 in craigslist or ebay.

Galaxy Note 8 Deal

I was hoping to post this in the member found deals forum but couldn't get permission to create a new thread.
I've been looking into buying a Note 8 recently and just today saw the Newegg has dropped their price to almost $250 after discount and 10% off promo. That's finally looking like a great price!
However, also wondering if Samsung is about to release an updated version possibly?

It depends on how hard you look and how much a seller wants to sell.
