Hi guys what's the fastest gaming ROM for HTC Desire or script for gaming?

Don't use any sense roms for gaming. Use any non sense roms. Try few Roms by yourself, it all depends what setup you use and all.

I want a gaming ROM for games like temple run 1/2, dead trigger
,gta 3/vice city, subway surfers etc. And i always use cm 7.2/aosp roms

There's nothing else you can do. Gta3/vice city on the desire really? It would be like trying to play crysis on a netbook

Unfortunately, you'll have to accept the fact that the HTC Desire is more than 3 years old, and that its 1GHz Scorpion and Adreno 200 aren't powerful enough to support games such as Subway Surfers. The only thing you could do to enhance performance is flashing an AOSP based GB Rom.

Laggy: JetPack Joyride, Beat Hazard
Lag Spikes: Hill Climb Racing, Fruit Ninja, Minecraft

dGB or MildWild CM or the redux based one. All 3 r small (dGB 60mb lol) fast and pretty much rock solid.

yep right i think i found the fastest combination : project fuild( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069238 ) for build.prop and int.d tweaks and gull gpu rendering( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254999 - just for adreno 200) and adreno booster ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167228 - recommand version 0.2 it gives you the best performance) in combinatio whit cm 7.2 rom (MildWild Based on Cm 7.2 recommanded) and slimmed rom and i thnik that's all if you found any other tweak please inform me have a nice day

I ported MildWild CM JG to the Desire S and my phone is 3rd in that list with no tweaks. So yh, great rom.

Is this combinations small? I always happen to have space problems.
I tried your setup and I'm not impressed, couldn't get more than 600 on 3d. Jelly bean roms score ~800.
Everybody seem to recommend GB roms for gaming, but from what I've tested myself, they get the lowest scores of all 500-600 on 3d
And strangely enough, I get this results on ics, I/O is that much cause of int2sd, not running from ram.
What's the performance script or the rom you use?

Hmm... CM7.1 or something based on CM7.1 is your best bet (uses the least amount of CPU/RAM in any ROM I know of!

Its the latest version yes, but I prefer 7.1 over 7.2 because it's more stable

Yeah, faster, less bugs & better to use than 7.2 (although 7.2 has some features if ICS on it that you might like better, it's just a matter of opinion)

Overclock to 1.3/1.5 GHz and uninstall all applications not needed. Before you begin playing make sure all unneccesary tasks are killed using the inbuilt task manager and play away!

Which rom do you use for games like GTA 3 or Modern Combat? I am using AceSMod3D007 but on Modern Combat 2 is lagging. With Mildwild I cant run it.
Unfortunately Rom's don't change the hardware.

You`re right but on sense roms some games are lagging and on aosp roms the same games arent lagging. Iam still with sense rom because I use 720p camera on them

If you need JB support try flashing vijendrahs cm10 rom and removing all but the essentials, so removing google now etc. then flash the cronmod kernel and experiment with how much you can overclock your desire with.

I'm using MildWild Redux rom. It runs games brilliantly. You should try it.

Thanks but I don't run any games on my Desire and I really like the updated google apps since I use them for school and other things
But yeah 7.2 is probably the way to go with gaming

Regardless of the ROM the desire just can't cope with them games.
The best gaming ROM is any ROM based on oxygen

Chinese are improving themselves!
Not for the better games like temple run and boss 2, its abit too laggy for those games.

use CM7.2 based ROM (currently im using LG themed music edition ROM), they're quite fast for gaming, i can even play agent dash with minimal lag
the other ROM i suggest is AOKP milestone 6 CM9 based. it can run as fast as the previous ROM but needs heavy tweaking (IMHO) but it still buggy (no native wifi tether, no native camcorder)
For me, this two roms are the most good for games. For the test, i've played temple run 2 and i haven't lag on this roms:
[DEV] CyanogenMod 7 | MoltenMotherBoard
ROM][PORT]SGSII JB ROM - Version 10
Tip: Install Chainfire 3D for better playing. Work on SGSII JB ROM, i 've not tried to cyanogen.
But: The game is more smooth on Cyanogen, only this Cyanogen.

temple run 2 running whitout lag? that's not posible i tweaked hard my rom delete a lot of unwanted app and still sometimes i see some minimal lag

thats why i always test a ROM using agent dash, because it have very minimal lag. its also a better game IMHO :highfive:

i would say, that cm10 has a very bad performance . flash cm9 or stock rom, thats better for gaming, the best rom I've tried was cm9.

All works well, still some bugs with the fonts, but thats not that bad.

It lags on every ROM I've used from PAC man to 3xreme Sense. No matter what I set the CPU speed on, it still lags

Nearly all ROMs will lag I got vj cm10 CSR is working good but I'm gna go back to GB for daily driver I had mild wild 5
