Whole rom is based on Cm10 FreeXperia Project from 17.05.2013.
As i know camera is only 720p (cyanogenmod).and you must couple times press home button to activate task killer.
Please post any other bugs.

open the zip file with 7zip. go to META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script drag it to your windows explorer (or other programs). open it with notepad and change:

Go to meta-inf>Com>Google>Android>updater-script>
Remove this line in notepad++
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "galaxys2" || getprop("ro.buildproduct") == "galaxys2"
Save and exit.
replace new updater script with original script ..
now start flashing ..

No, I didn't.
that error message said I'm flashing it from neither XS or S2
but I AM flashing it from XS
It's solved now
I found that I can flash it from FXP
but I can't flash it from stock rom 6.1.A.2.55
pretty weird
Setting contact images(or avatars) gets a FC, kills the entire system, forces launcher to redraw.
Edit: works by going through the gallery.

The problem with task killer can be solved by the following steps:
- settings
- Buttons & keys
- Home key --> select "None" instead of the default "Launch Recent panel"
Long-pressing home key still brings the list of recent application and task killer.
Only this instruction install?

Only that instruction which is standard for installing almost any custom rom.
In next hour Fixed Release 3.5.23 is going to be uploaded.
Build is based on MIUI Official Release 3.5.17.
At the begining of next week official 3.5.24 will be online and also ported version for XS ,so i hope more bugfixes and battery optimisation.

A new version with a new Base is out, the Elite V10.1 Beta. For making easier the use of each version, a new thread has been started
I'm not the developer of this great ROM. But I consider that it's so good that it must appear in the XDA forum. The developer is ELITE, and he has authorized to me for uploading. I think that everybody would have the opportunity of knowing it.
Until now, this is a Beta development, and each version is incorporating different kind of improvements. Sometimes the ROM control is in on the versions, sometimes is AOKP, sometime Codename, sometimes the Toggles and Dialer T9 are incorporated, others not. It's very important to understand this. Surely this is the best ROM ever for SGS, but now is under development, and we all must understand this. If you like a concrete Beta version, maybe you must keep on that until a RC is out.
This V10.1 Beta incorporates great technical improvements that make that our SGS works as never before, and although it's a Beta for daily use, it's a little ruder than others (i.e beta V6). You must be conscious of this
In the follow links you can see and get this new ROM, developed under the NEXUS base IMM76DB (4.0.4) for Galaxy S. This ROM is LITE, basic, only the ROM and each user should add the apps they wish

Installation instructions (IF YOU COME FROM AN ICS ROM IT'S NOT NECESSARY THE STEPS 1 TO 4, YOU CAN START ON 5) Nothing special must be done for flashing, this ROM is as other ICS roms
1 Keep a copy of efs folder for security
2 Reboot in recovery and data factory (it's not obligated, but could be interesting to format all from mount/storage)
3 Turn off the phone and restart download mode.
4 Put the ROM JVU (http://hotfile.com/dl/140301534/be8872c/I9000XXJVU_I9000OXAJVU_OXA.rar.html Password: samfirmware.com) from in download mode from odin with marked repartition and reboot the mobile. Shut it off and reboot in download mode again, from odin flash now cf-root on pda without repartition (http://download.chainfire.eu/132/CF-Root/SGS/CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVU_2.3.6-v4.3-CWM3RFS.zip)
5 Once mobile is restarted, we debug (this is very important, you must mark debug on in the SGS) and copy the "4.0.4 beta" in the internal sd and reboot in recovery.
6 Wipe factory reset, cache partition, Dalvik cache and we flash "4.0.4 beta"
7 If do not start, press the 3 button to return to recovery and repeat step 6.
8 Open the app NSTools and select as governor and Scheduler Smartassv2 VR or that you like.
9 Enjoy ..

It's caused in some devices, by the Deep Idle added
The quickest solution is to eliminate de deep idle option

However if the V8, V7 or V6 work good for you, it's better you wait a couple of days more, sure that many commentaries about this ROM will appear in this thread and you can decide with much more arguments.

Advanced Restore of data from v8 CWM backup(I had about 135 apps total)

Install Instructions
For Coming From Any Rom That isn't BOCA, MIUI or unofficial port based off of CM7 (Teks)
(see below for those instructions)
As you all know, when switching from rom to rom, something called a safe stock re-partitioned is very much preferred, almost required. Even more so, when jumping from roms with different os bases, example is going from a 2.3 based rom to a 2.3.7 or 4.0.4 (or reverse).
You need to do this process to kinda bleach out anything that remains of the old rom, as many times these arent properly cleared through a recovery erase, and can leave behind bits and pieces that can, and frequently do, disrupt the next rom you try to run. This is never a good thing, as it can cause anything from a bootloop to mysterious ghost like behaviors. Not to mention many things many not work correctly in your new rom.
Team Overcome has created, or basically repacked a way to do this. Many thanks!!!!

1) Go to Overcomes website, and download a zip called: ROM | 001001-GB-Stock-Safe-v5
(this is the base, non branded 'official' release of Gingerbread from Samsung. Overcome has made a few modifications to this file, and added Odin, modems and Samsung SGT driver installer to the zip)
2) While at the Overcome site, also download a zip called: KERNEL | 002001-Overcome Kernel V3.3.1 (TAR)
(this is a kernel made by AB, with some nice work done to it. But what we need it for is to convert our system to ext4. It will not run BOCA)
3) Unzip the GB-Stock zip, and open it up.
4) Open SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_x86, and run it. This will reinstall, and clean up any old drivers for your tab.
5) plug in your tab when done, and let you computer fully install you SGT's drivers. Once its finished, unplug your tab.
6) Unplug any USB devices from your computer, & Open Odin3_v1.7, once it opens, plug your tab back in to your computer, in download mode.
Under ID:COM, a yellow window should now state your tabs is connected.
7) Place gt-p1000_mr.pit inside the PIT slot, PDA slot, place: GB_Stock_Safe_v5.tar
8) Make sure Re-partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked, press start.
9) Once finished, and your tab has rebooted, press reset in Odin. On your tab, skip through all the setup options, and reboot into download mode.
10) Plug your tab back into your computer, and place: 002001-Overcome_Kernel_v3.3.1.tar into the PDA slot, and press start.
11) Let your tabs sexy robot voice convert your system, once done, boot into recovery, clear everything, go to zip installer, and choose BOCA from your SD card. Let install.
*11.1) L/N device users, must now flash your cm7 device kernel
12) Boot into BOCA, and reboot once.
13) As with ANY rom, please do a full battery calibration with the included apk, ASAP.
14) Enjoy BOCA!!

The Nemus launcher is a great addition, for myself I prefer it to VTL.
As Diz has a bricked device I have been doing a bit of testing and am very impressed with the new release.
Battery life is excellent, it's fast and looks great. Screen shots coming shortly.
Above you will see all the additions to this rom. The control over the device is amazing, so many options to make it truly yours.
Installing the new version (my notes for when coming from overcome kernal or BOCA release etc) If in doubt restock
Copy the RC 2.0.6 to the internal SD card of the tab.
Remember to backup the device
In all cases you will need to :-
Wipe
Wipe
Wipe
Reboot twice
Log in to Gmail or G Talk.
Installing from a BOCA release.
To start, restart to Recovery.
Use the Volume button to access Wipe menu and Power button to select.
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe Data / factory reset
Once you have wiped your tab clean select Go Back and select install menu then choose zip from internal SD card.
Local the RC2.0.6.zip file and hit the power button to install
Once complete go to reboot menu and reboot your tab. As we have wiped the cache etc it will take a while to boot, this is normal.
Once the system has booted you will be asked to select your launcher. Select one and see what you think. If you want hit the home button and select the other one and then you can chose the best one for you.
Once you are happy with your launcher, hit home again, tick the box to make the launcher default and select it.
Now reboot. Don’t bother doing anything else until you have done a reboot.
If your unlock screen is smaller than the device screen, you have not restarted the device..
Once your reboot has completed I suggest that you connect to WIFI now. Start the market and put in your details, it will update to play and then you should be ok to update apps install what you need etc.
Remember Diz does not have a working tab. For this reason some of the apps are not up to date, update from my apps to resolve this.
Re the status bar, the ROM has an option turned on to enable a dead zone in the middle of the status bar. To pull up the notification bar do it from the right hand side, if you use the middle it will seem that notification bar is not working, this is not the case.
To disable this go to settings, CyanogenMod settings, Tablet Tweaks and de-select the dead zone.
The dead zone is great if you are hitting the status bar instead of the space bar whilst typing..

In the new launcher the autorotate is disabled by default.
Go to Launcher settings, other settings, Orientation you should set it to Auto rotate.
I love the new volume bar, nice work Diz.
ICS looks nice but BOCA RC2 is faster and more reliable with pretty much everything working, until ICS is stable and ready this is the one to use.

it's my first time to use the boca rom. i noticed in the screenshots that in portrait mode, the notification/status bar is on the lower part of the screen. is this the same in landscape?

try restocking you GB with GB safe stock v5 (do not forget to chek Repartition), then flasing with overcome kernel 4.0, if you don't know how to do it just go to overcome website for how to, after that go to CWM, do a full wipe, then flasing with this ROM, otherwise chek the MD5 of your ROM file.

Try above suggestion by qm4n76, but replacing a L/N overcome kernel when guide asks for kernel entries

Humbertos and ronis_br build L/N Kernels, see respective threads for your devices AOSP/CM7 kernels.

Yes it is,
it can be easily changed to the top by going to:
Settings/cyanogenmodSettings/tablet tweaks.
The whole cyanogenMod settings directory in general has some nifty tweaks available

240 & 160 for best market compatibility
180 is my favorite general use dpi
160 seems to make ui faster, but breaks/askews some images like keyboard background and status bar pulldown data toggle background.

Sure does. As per my reply it is very customisable.
You can set it to appear at the top and bottom, the buttons that appear etc. It is highly customisable.
Go to the Cyanogen mod settings for now and you can set the look and fell. The launcher also has it's own settings that you can change such as the auto rotate.

OK, the moron is back with a vengeance: autorotate (orientation) does not work. I faintly remember a message after install, but I can't remember it - so where can I enable it? I am using the first launcher (not the VTL, the other, can't remember it's name - I always used LauncherPro) if this helps.

Open the zip file with 7zip. go to META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script drag it to your windows explorer (or other programs). open it with notepad :

Delete Everything Before Unmount System And It Will Works.

Zero Meta Inf Package Is Fixed.Redownload Rom From Link In OP,And then Change Updater Script.

1. Downlaod ext2explore.exe
2. Upzip SRKG2 ROM
3. Open ext2explore.exe
4. Choose File> open image (in main menu)
5. Select dtoidth-system.img in system folder (from 2.)
6. You can save all files that you want from dtoidth-system.img ,Choose Tools>save
How to install xposed
1. Download xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip then flash it via Recovery
2. Download XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk and install .

I will personally recommend this ROM over Havoc & RR. This is the cleanest among all. Though fingerprint not working, it can be a daily driver.

In order to get Mobile data working you need to create APN in settings manually. For JIO users, create new APN with following values:
Name: Jio 4G
APN: jionet
MNC: 866 (should be that by default if not then set this)
Authentiction type: Not set (should be that by default if not then set this)
APN type: default,supl
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6

At first i thought that i missed FP implementation, but i was wrong. FP is there and working accurately & faster then Havoc & RR. But unfortunately it's not visible. Hope i or someone can fix this !
