Hi
I have tried setting up my Exchange email on my galaxy grand duos. I was able to setup the account successfully also got the remote administrator setups.
but the sync actually didnt pull any emails at all. Its keep on trying to sync for a long time, but no emails loaded.
any help?

Hi all,
Since 2 days i got a strange problem with my hotmail account and push settings.
Everything sets up fine but when my hotmail is @ push it keeps syncing.
This drain my battery completely also it wont recieve any mail until i sync manual. Before it worked just perfect.
Also when i am on my computer @ msn and i receive a mail msn keaps saying one new mail but it's already read on the phone!
I treid an other hotmail account i created with my phone and push settings and the problem was gone! So it's in my account or something
now i got the following problem:
I can't set it up as exchange but only as pop.
If i try an other hotmail account it works just great with exchange.
Someone knows what this can be!?
I'm running the standard mail app and have been using it for a while now to get my yahoo mail. All of a sudden its started saying cannot safely connect to server when I try to retrieve my latest mail. Its been working fine for ages prior to this.
I'm running Cynogenmod 7 RC 2.
Any ideas?

Basically I have Hotmail and work email configured as Exchange ActiveSync accounts on my phone, syncing only emails but not contacts/calendar. Both are set to Push.
At first everything worked fine. But after 2-3 days, it would stop syncing. To rectify it, I have to reboot the phone. But it would stop again after 2-3 days.
Any idea what's causing this please?
I am on CyanogenMod 7.

is anybody else also facing issues with Exchange sync on ICS??
I am having some strange behaviour on the Galaxy Nexus using two Exchange accounts (business and private).
If I am setting up only one account everything is working fine: mails, calendar and contacts are syncing fine. Now I am setting up the second account. Afterwards account one is still working fine, but second account shows issues with not syncing calendar and contacts (while mail is working fine).
Sometimes it helps to check and uncheck the Sync calendar/Sync contacts option to load new contacts and calendar events. But this is not reproduceable very often.
Does anybody know about this issue and found a solution??

I've got an New Galaxy Nexus. My Galaxy S went dead =)
I have an IMAP mail account that worked great with my Galaxy S.
And now with the same account-settings on my Galaxy Nexus i have sync-problems.
The server have never had support for IMAP IDLE so i always have choose to sync every 15:minutes. Couse its my work-mail and i get allot.
The problem is that i receive the mail every 15:minutes but it doesnt sync the rest. It doesnt sync that i move the mail to another folder and i doesnt sync when i delete or read.
This means that when i delete, the next sync i receive the mail again marked as unread.
Very annoying and it worked perfektly on the galaxy S.
Someone have i clue?
