[Comparison] Post your Benchmark scores here - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Hello fellow Incredible 2 users, i want everyone to please take some time off their day to run some Benchmarks on our little crowned jewel.
The results will be posted here on the OP as soon as they start arriving on the comments.
So here are the rules:
No apps can be running in the background. It could but not necesarily (The phone),be in airplane mode so no synching can be done during the benchmarks.
The Benchmarks should be done on Antutu Benchmark Test (free on the play store)
You may post other Benchmarking scores from other software as well.
The kernel governer MUST be set on the PERFORMANCE setting for maximum evaluation.
They must be done on the ONLY ON THE LATEST VERSION following ROMS:
Chilly's AOKP, CM10.1, PA3.0, PAC (Exception: Until Chilly updates the PAC rom soon, please use the 4/20 build)
Nitsuj17's Viper 1.3.0, or 1.3.1
Kham's MIUI4 v3.2.1
Tazz's IC Tazz
Team Evervolv's [LATEST NIGHTLY] Evervolv rom. (Exception: The last nightly with confirmed stability although they are all good:laugh
Now, this rule only applies to SENSE users of the aforementioned roms: You MUST utilize Brymaster's BrYCS OC Kernel OR
BSmitty's Kapow Kernel (Esencially the his latest version built with the 4.6 GCC Toolchain)

Please consider this thread as i want to compare all our 4.0-4.2.2 Roms we currently use and see how far we've progressed during the life of our phone.
EDIT: I thought i had posted this in the General section but posted here by accident, please let me know if this belongs here or not.

This was my best score on antutu , but for the most part I've had scores in the 5000 range on all these kernels , although as much as i love benchmarking , the better judge to me is how your phone reacts while using it normally .

Cm7 and over clocking

So I have a quick question for people running cm7. I am running cm7 with aveon 6 kernal. I was just wondering what over clock speeds do you guys use?
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA App
Dl no frills CPU and test for yoursef, each phone runs defferently and with no frills u can set as boot but if it is not a proper shutdown it will not set just in case it was due to the oc/ UV. Hope this helps and I run 1.5 ghz
Tap'n on miui incredible 2
Plus one on NoFrills. I'm using Aeroevans .7bfs kernel set at 1.2ghz and using the Sio I/O on nightly 133. This works well for me. Good balance of speed and battery life.

OCing over 1.2 is useless unless you want battery to die fast
Running tiamat 1ghz gives me 30hrs on moderate
1.2 about lil more than a day
Tiamat is supposedly come out with new kernel this weekend or next.

With cm7 I actually like to underclock to around 800 with interactiveX. I have hit 1.9 stable using the smooth ass governor, and when I want to over clock I usually go for 1.2 or 1.4

lol, my reaction exactly. After I got finished being upset about it, I realized that if AnTuTu is picking and choosing what scores they post, then there are probably other even higher scores that never got posted, too. I just figured what's the point then, and lost interest.
But I still have the whole nandroid of the special setup I was using, and I might try again one of these days. Whatever. It was fun, but it doesn't really prove anything except that you have a good cooling technique.
Edit: BTW, it was Rascarlo's Rasbeanjelly ROM, 2012-08-09 release, and morfic's Trinity kernel Alpha32, 1728-537 version. Forgot to put that in. And I listened to Simms22 to learn how to do it. I just supplied the ocd, lol.

CyanogenMod10 Lowers Benchmark Scores????

So CyanogenMod10 has to be by far my most favorite rom for my sgs3. But check out these benchmark Scores. The lower score is on the cm10 rom and the higher score is on the stock rom (all while rooted of course) are there any fixes to this or does CyanogenMod have to find a fix for this?

Even thought you measure your phones ability to perform based on a quadrant app and i don't, I'll still tell you how to fix it. Flash the ktoonsez kernel for aosp. It'll be much quicker.

Purpose of quadrant score? To show your E-Pen15 is bigger then someone elses. Seriously.. they are tooo easily faked. If your phone is performing up to your standards.. then that's all that should really matter.

It's true tho... Benchmarks really don't make a difference.. You can have high marks (Acturate) and still have a craptastic time with the device. All comes down to the person who uses it. Your opinion is the only one who really matters. So who cares what a program says.. Does it perform and do things you want? That's all that does matter. (Just my opinion on this whole thing) I've seen several post with benchmarks and yada yada.. lol.. Who cares!

Bench marks don't lie completely, stock rom is optimized to run fast with touchwiz and cm10 is not . You can tell the speed difference ,that's why people make the kernels to speed it up.

He's very right, for many many reasons benchmarks don't reflect experience or efficiency everything from how well wrote they are to how they execute to extensions supported to the fact benchmarking assumes performance as absolute or averaged results but fails to present the constant.....

So far I think staying stock is just as good as running a developed kernel for this particular ROM imho, especially when you want to get the most battery. I use SetCPu and will run min 486 and Max 1350/1404. SmartassV2 and Zen or cfq governors. I don't play many games on my phone, I have tablets for that and they are tweaked as high as I can go and be stable. It's all about what you use your phone for, most times when I benchmark it seems the higher frequency I push my score actually will get worse, might be I'm need to up my voltage, but I don't mess with voltages much. I will follow the developers guidelines for undervolting if I'm trying to squeeze that extra life, but I don't worry about it that much. Best way for me to extend my battery life is start turning things off when they're not needed. All the things I try with my devices I have learned by reading on the XDA forums, and by far the developers for our GS3's are the best and I'm very thankful for all they give up to give us these awesome roms, kernels, and not forgetting about the theme developers to make or phones run fast, operate smoothly, and look great. Without them might as well buy a fruit product, just kidding I would get a flip phone before I would do that. .... This was meant to be a quick reply, just got off a 14 hr work day and I'm just rambling a little, I hope my reply makes sense.

I am using Antutu Benchmark found at the play store for free
I am currently running the Infamous1.5 ROM based on android 4.1.2
with the Infamous kernel .7.4 by Jamison904
BTW... I have about 85 or so personal apps installed in this mod
I am also running the World Weather Clock Widget at the same time
and I am not running any kernel tweaking software...
here is my score...

a benchmark is basically a set of tests to see how fast your phone is running
here is the dictionary meaning...
bench·mark
/ˈbenCHˌmärk/
Noun
A standard or point of reference against which things may be compared or assessed.
Verb
Evaluate or check (something) by comparison with a standard: "we are benchmarking our performance against external criteria".
if you want to compare your device to others
go to playstore and download Antutu Benchmark and run it
I know my device would score low...I'm setup for stability and battery life.
Those with really high scores are tweaked for Max performance and probably carry an a/c charger in their pockets!

That's great and all, but hardly surprising. It's about double in scores because it has double the cores. Personally for me this would have no positive effect on my phone usage, but I would have a worse camera and have to use an lcd screen.

Yea.. not for me. A much faster phone would be nice. The Nexus 4 is much faster and smoother on all fronts. I've had 3 t989s and the camera is absolutely nothing to write home about. Compared to an exynos powered GS2, the sensor on this camera sucks.. and don't say theyre the same because they are not. SAMOLED is awesome but outdoors it's a pile of sh*t.
