I tried deleting the app, also tried wipe cache and dalvik no luck still my internal and external sd are interchanged. The only way I found to work is to restore nandroid backup that does not include ext to int installed. That is an extreme method
EDIT: K2wl answered this in his ROM thread.....

link2sd cannot mount its scripts on stock roms!! That's why you cannot view the 2nd partition!!
@leodasal2
No buddy.... I'm using link2sd on stock rom... And it's working awesome.
I think he doesn't have problem with ext partition but the fat32 partition
This happened to me once your sdcard must be failing, you better backup your data before it says format unable to read device

Ya I'm on stock kernel as in signature, and I can create link also.
No problem at all.
Im also on stock Rom& stock kernal and link2sd is working perfect for me....
but i had these problems before....
I experimented many times by relinking and recreating mount scripts...but the problem came once in a while.
But after that i've backed up the .apk s and cleaned up the second partition and cleared data(settings-applications-manage-link2sd-clear data button) and now again used link2sd, created links and now the mounting problems are over! hoo....
Try formatting your sdcard,
Backup first in your pc, or delete your ext partition using minitool partition or easeus partition, make it (your sdcard) empty , copy paste cwm to your sd, and flash it via recovery , goto Advanced n then choose Partition SD Card . Hope this help..
Also, if its not working again, try deleting "content holder" or something like that, on /system/sd . Use root explorer (recommended) .

Hello there,
did you reboot the phone? Did you link only apk or also dex and lib files of the applications?
How many apps are installed? You can view apps that are on the SD card but not on the ext partition. maybe they didnt get linked?
yes i did reboot the Mobile..and i have linked the dex and lib files too
there are 46-49 apps installed
yes it says ---> Linked
when im on sense, im using DT a2sd (ext4)
when im on CM base, im using S2E (ext4). I got more than 100mb free space after more than 50 apps installed.
so should i delete the old ext2 partition and make a ext4 one?
Use flashable data2sd script...it worked for me

It doesn't really matter.
I would suggest factory reset, then installing Link2SD.Open it, and tick "Auto link".Then install all apps you need, and you're fine.
By the way, that internal storage information from phone is not correct.
For example, I have 50 apps installed with 30mb free internal storage. Then I delete one app (2mb), and the phone shows 50mb free. So, it's not correct.Don't know why, but that's the way Link2SD works.I got used to it.
Anyway, if you have Class 6 or up sdcard, then I'd suggest using data2sd, otherwise, stick with Link2SD.

how can you tell what class sd card your using plz ?
I would also recommend S2E, like asdot said earlier.
It is in my opinion the easiest and best solution when you are using CM (7 or 9, both work).
Just install it from the market.
And it is true, if you have a slow SD card I would not use data2sd. The app S2E gives you the option to move apps only, not their data. I use that option and have a very fast phone with basically endless memory

Use antutu to test sdcard read/write speed.
Compare with this(write speed is what's important)

Why did my internal storage get wiped?

I have been on Liquidsmooth for a while, and switched to Infamous Lite from Liquidsmooth rc2. After playing around with it I tried to nandroid back to Liquidsmooth rc1 and everything went well, except it seems like my internal storage got wiped along with my Titanium Backup and a lot of other things. Is there any way to recover these things?
If you didn't wipe it, then I'm sure your files are still there. Use a file explorer to look around in your folders.
I am looking around, and I see storage, emulated, sd1, sd0, and all of them have the same files and not the ones that I had on my phone before.
Check the 0 folder?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I checked the emulated folder, sdcard0, sdcard1, usbdisk0, and all of them are the same as the sdcard folder. I know my files need to be somewhere, 1.6GB of my internal storage is being used. I just can't see any of the files :/

This IS the correct answer, it creates a 0 directory, files are there....
Same happen to me. Flash back to a tw rom and they should come back

Yes I flashed touch wiz and they came back and I copied them to my desktop. Should I just wipe internal storage and then copy everything back to my phone to free up that space?

There is a folder called "0" that contains all of your files on certain ROMs. It happened to me too. I wouldn't worry about it too much but if you want to clean it up, go for it.
Yeah I found 0, it does not contain everything unfortunately. If I wipe internal storage does my rom get wiped out too? I think my twrp has a wipe internal button.

If you wipe internal, it deletes everything on the device except the external SD card, yes.
If you do this, I would remove your SD card just to be on the safe side. Things go wrong sometimes as you've unfortunately found out with the data loss.

Insufficient Storage available?

OK, I have room on my SD card AND my phone's storage as well, but I can't install Google maps. Any ideas?
If you want you could format your storage. There could be a bunch of garbage on there

Try fixing permissions in your recovery.
SD card and phone storage are not the same as system, if you have large amounts of data hungry apps on system partition. That could be the issue... Permissions are also likely

Great, thanks!
Fixing permissions didn't work for me:/
If you have Titanium Backup installed, use root explorer and navigate to /data/app
Look for com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup-1.odex and delete it. This will resolve your problem.
I had same problem. Had restored rom toolbox from a backup. It had install to SD turned on. Was causing a conflict that wouldn't allow app installs. Check if you have any system tuners doing the same app2sd enabled. Needs to be disabled.

Eventually we will get the Samsung firmware update that allows apps2sd, but we havent gotten it yet. In the mean time I use Foldermount to move large data folders to the external sd card. For example the large gameloft games usually require the data to be installed on the internal. Will foldermount you can move those large folders (or any other folder) to the external sd and free up a lot of internal memory.
thanks gam3r just need to figure out foldermount and that should solve it. gameloft is just ridiculous, 2 gigs for a game
