Wow.. i never thought we're going to recieve official jb update! Im going to wait for a few more days for V2 before i try..
i have tested it for one day..
bugs are as follows
1:sms character limit to 160.. but can b resolved with go sms
2roblem with services code, u cant check your credit via dialer or activate any other service via dialer
3:it still has some korean in it. e.g in dialer and sounds
4:it always to dial in korea or outside whenever u call and it cannot b turned off in call roaming settings..
these bugs i found in 1 day of use... BUT
the rom us HELL smooth.. as silk
and the battery life is awesome
and performance is extrodinary 7.6k antutu score..

OK that's what I've seen so far that it's exactly 186 JB 4.1.2 with most bloatware removed and is in Vietnamese, Korean and English. SMS Characters limit is at 160. Music player, Camera, Lock-screen everything is revamped and looks great!!! HANGOUTS (replaces TALK), Gmail etc. is to be installed later manually. Also it comes with SupersSU (Not Pro), RootExplorer, Rebooter and ScreenOff (I don't know what is it). It's so lovely that soft-keys-lights only lights up on touching them and stays off while interacting the screen. It's super smooth!
The things I didn't like is that on Boot screen it shows ICS Engineer version. It's not completely English (Ringtones etc. are in Korean). Auto-brightness sucks as usual. It's stock messaging app notifications doesn't expand. There is an annoying space above Google Now icon in multi-tasking window. Theme is still Light Colored so I can just pray somebody change it to pure English and Dark JB theme like CM10.1 or something.
BTW on which site it's stated that there is to be a V2 release pending?

Guys I don't know what wrong but my phone's CELL STANDBY and PHONE IDLE processes are draining my battery like crazy even if I don't use it. What could be the problem? Is that a flashing issue?

Is it JB? If so, they might have ripped off Andromadous team a bit (no roms based on test builds policy/wish). Then again, Chinese. MIUI started pretty much as CM rip-off violating GPL.

lol they used virtuous 3.0.41 kernel and some sense framework here and there. also it has sense 3.6 camera. if its stable, would easily be the best rom possible for our devices.

Everything as expected except one strange screen after first boot. I had to remove the battery... because this strange screen (a rectangular shape, like a cell phone, with android logo inside) was covering the lockscreen and I couldn't get rid of it! :cyclops:
After that everything seems to be just fine...

Goto settings/display, turn off the last option, this screen will not be displayed again!
I've just flash it, but where is the google play store/gmail, it is missing.I remember that china rom doesn't have gapps. which one should i to flash?

Hey guys, please notice that the rom is not official, I just ported it from the offcial MIUI for DS. Also there is some bugs such as wifi hotspot etc. I will be very appreciate if anyone can help me get rid of the bugs or add more English support!

well seems like this too have the battery drain while listening to music through headphones problem.
im not suprised actually, because its 3.0.41 kernel. all roms with this kernel will have this problem untill Flemmard fixes it.
Oh man, i was about to go ask on Q/A if all the miui roms for our phones have been discontinued/are there any left. because i'm getting tired of stock ICS/nova launcher. And now here's this, looks promising. Might flash tonight or wait for next update if theres smth missing here. This does come in English right?

the lock screen default is not working, i see in the security that no style. how about choosing lock screen become pin or pattern?
by the way i have some comments about application which need root access. we must manually go to security,permission then allow all. there is no prompt for root access
Nice rom. I now using it, but it sometimes work not smooth.
I haven't had any problems with it yet, definitely my dd right now. Its smooth.

unfortunately no new kernel I tired to flash the new kernel image onto it but the Wifi module is not running so enjoy as it is

2.ADDED : ActionLuancher Pro(it was there in 19.07 but it is causing much lag so removed it), ADW_Launcher, Google TTS
one important thing is there THIS ROM DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY KEYBOARD the reason is that when i try to put them in ZIP and installed it I am getting an error showing "GoogleKeybaord stopped/ Sywpe stopped" instead I've given two separate .apk of Google_Keyboard(Gesture) and Swype(modified apk)
after installing the ROM, when you boot into it select English then skip the network and location settings (REMOVE SIM CARD TO AVOID MOBILE DATA CONNECTION as it will cost you if you are not subscribed for any data pack), Now goto file manager and install any one keyboard you like.
THE SIZE OF NEW ROM+Gapps is 179MB and the Original size was 201MB

I am using this ROM and its very very stable than any other great battery and no boot loops
further more you get realllllly coool looks...
NO WiFi BUG I DID NOTICED IT BUT IT IS BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO MODIFY SOME APPS AND LAUNCHER AND ACCIDENTALLY REMOVED A MAIN COMPONENT AND GOT STUCK WITH WiFi PROBLEM...
AFTER INSTALLING THAT THING M BACK ON STABLE ONE...

which language you want this pack have Chinese, simplified Chinese and English...

That's what's confusing me... I'll try it anyway, hopefully it's much better than the previous builds (which were all ports afaik...)!

Previous releases were supposed to be private.
3.7.12 is the unofficial public release.
Defy and Defy+ each have their own release, but they should be the same. They probably separated them to prevent people from asking why there's only one release for both phones.
Why are you even asking? Both versions are available, just download yours!
I ask beacuase I would like to test coolshahabaz version without unnecessary apps....

I tried 3.7.12 from miuiandroid and I get no sound when calling someone. I have to turn hands-free on to hear something.
The ROM is less snappy than mokee but it looks great. The no sound bug I face is quite ugly, though.

So lets start.
Root your device Unlock bootloader install recovery here
(ignore this step if you already installed recovery ).
Download rom from here or here or here
Then download patch for your phone.
Please ensure you download the correct one.
F180L patch
F180S patch
F180K patch
Put both items to your phones root folder.
Goto recovery and choose Install zip from sd card.
Choose rom zip and flash it.
Press back return in main menu.
Goto mount & storage .
mount /system. Then unmount it(for testing that your /system directory is mountable or not).
Press back return in main menu.
Select choose zip from sd card.
Flash patch.
again goto main menu.
wipe data/factory reset.
wipe cache partition.
select. advanced and clear dalvik cache.
Reboot.
If it ask to fix something just press back or select NO.
wait a while and enjoy your kitkat.

Ok, I will try.
I'm on Paulicat ROM and those to files can be flashed later. If needed.
Edit1: my provider appear in lockscreen info, but no signal. I will try installing modem.

Are you talking about the update package I prepared? Sure...
I duno y many guides avail fa F180 devices since they ve kdz wit them.... Its easy fa them to update KK rom compared to E975 models, if I've a Korean device I personally follow this step to flash custom roms
1. Flash KK kdz
2. Root
3. Unlock bootloader
4. Flash custom roms
Very simple ryt....

am using sling on my f180L converted to e975 so you can try it too. Not sure about modem you know batter then me.there isn't a single Korean app.

Excuse, you don't have peoblem with the dropping down the signal of the Phone overtime,it's the same at 4.1.2 for you?
I tried all ROM 4.4 here but all have problem with signal, the sling ROM is the best over all 4.4 ROM here,the best way to install is to install before stock 4.4 f180,after install ROM and patch f180 and you are sure don't have Boot loop, but I remember all this ROM have problem with the signal.

Just backup first you ROM it's very important...
My phone is a E975 and I was on Paulicat ROM too, just follow the OP steps and you will get a F180L afterwords
@sunyakram I confirm that it's necessary to flash the modem to have network (my KDZ base was 10H) and unlock bootloader.
Another important info is that there are much more connection options (GSM/WCDMA/LTE), but I can't get 4G. I need to choose GSM/WCDMA option otherwise I can't even get network!
A part the 4g problem how is you signal, is stable or go up and down often?

Only using for 12h time and nothing to mention, with Paulicat and 1st KitKat ROM worked well too.
I tried now the Sling 2.1 on my e975int.
with the modem 10h and I can say everything works, I don't know the 4g because I don't use mobile networks but my phone signal is good now,the only rom where the signal is stable,
The right way to install is to install before one 4.4 rom for preparing the partition and after unlocked the bootloader install the Sling rom 2.1,after the the patch,install the modem,wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and dalvik/cache without install the update/superuser,the rom it's just rooted,with recovery and the bootloader locked.

Just notice that some app are not the same of others KitKat ROM's, namely calls and messages UI, are those older versions? I like the others more....
And remember if you want apps to autostart up at boot, you gotta set 3 things in security center permissions! + always set allow in super su app settings or kingoapp
1- enable autostart 2-allow in apps permissions, by name. 3- enable app in floating windows!

Everything is OK except two things:
- SMS: auto add Prefix country code when receive, therefore can not show the name in contact list, only show number, I test many way to fix, but not yet success, perhaps must adjust code in framework (I don't know coding Java). If adjust contact list by add prefix country code on number, SMS OK, but Dialer only show the number when incoming call. Another solution: add two number in contactlist With & without prefix, but SMS will be split when send and receive message.
- Weather can not locate your location.

Well those issues you descripe is coloros bugs, I havent changed any regarding this!
Will upload today's new ota shortly, maybe you can try this too se if they made any fixes?
(Or try go sms, I don't have any issues with go sms)

New oppo apps update - security center/camera etc.
Stability way better, remember it´s 4.44 now, i think oppo really did a great job, getting better and better with updating color os!
i absolutely love coloros, dont care about lolipop right now, because im gonna loose their outstanding camera , not to mention the splendid maxaudio sound!
Configured right with kernel tweaker and 3c toolbox this os flies!
Im a very happy oppo find7 x9076 owner, bets note 4 for sure, i´ve played with it, not comparable....

Update still issue, I think because of ROM for Chinese local, it program country code +86, if use another service out of CHina, it auto add prefix country code when receive SMS, but Oppo program in Dialer it don't show country code when incomming call. Need mod ROM to fix it but how?
Anyway, incomming call, call log in dialer still show some Chinese langugage (if number not in contact list), althrough choose English, how to fix it?

Well i am in europe, and all works/shows ok i dialer, this can only be chinese specific related i´ve often heard that this is a ' jungle´ in china and giving almost anyone lots of trouble!
There´s not much to say other than you gotta try some third party software and see if problem is the same? (Rocket dialer/ dw dialer etc).
Maybe google it on your native language and read if others is having issues to!

Yes, there should be no problems on x9076 i have one myself, flashed through openrecovery twrp 2.8.4.0 , only the usual ' unknown command wipe data' error which means nothing!
Nameless recovery must be incompatible then? Dident know that, because never used any other than openrecovery!

BEWARE: This is only for D802!
In short: extra softkeys, nice messasing (bigger text box and floating circle - contacts app has floating circle too) and music app, no lagg i.e. on YouTube like rest of LP ROMs, and of course wireless storage. Verizon gave the perfect update.
So, this is a D802 ROM fully based on V39A, which is Verizon's stock 5.0.2 firmware.
Instructions:
Recommed to use latest TWRP by blastagator
Do a full wipe
Flash ROM zip (DONT reboot phone yet): Mega - ROM
Flash signal fix right after flashing the ROM, THEN REBOOT AFTER FLASHING THIS: Mega - Signal fix
After first reboot, finish startup wizard, reboot back into recovery and flash fix for proper baseband, correct D802 info and possibly better connectivity: Mega - Fix V2
Reboot.
Add-on (optional): LG Backup (seems Verizon does not have this app installed by default) Mega - LG Backup
How to enter TWRP recovery (thanks to @marek_poland):
Power off. Press and hold vol- and power button until LG logo appears. Then release and press and hold vol+ and vol- until reset screen shows up. Press yes twice and you enter TWRP.

My rear led stays on forever when I enable notification led
Either disable notification led or flash Xceed kernel. Note: flashing any other D802 will remove the floating pop up circle in messages, contacts & music app.

The Verizon model is supports all bands since it is a worldwide phone. There is a Official Lollipop 39A flashable version and several others (stock extreme, stock minimal, etc) over in the Verizon Dev thread.
I am NOT suggesting you flash it, but giving some info. I think techinically it will work though.

is Dori's LP kernel compatible with the verizon roms?
Vz roms have Vz Kernels, so if we flash it in D802, won't it give Bootloops?
Dont just flash stuff, you'll definetly end up in bootloop if not bricking your phone!
Either tonight or tomorrow I can try to upload this D802 ready ROM. But it will be for D802 only.
Update: After I started the upload process I remembered I forgot a few files. Did not want to re-upload so I made a small flashable zip containing those files. You will have to flash the ROM and then another zip right after. Flash both zips right after each other, don't reboot phone in-between flashes. Consider this your warning.
Update2: Everything added to OP. Maybe I will get this thread moved to D802 development section later. But I'm done for now. Enjoy.

Dorimanx lolipop kernel supported?
I am using LG G2 32 GB D 802 with Cloudy 2.2. Currenly installed this rom + Dorinmax 2.2 .Everything working perfectly.
P.S Found only problem with signal.Not weak signal.Just dropping and come again.
@Mvalev95 try to logcat the problem, perhaps we just need to replace some libraries to fix the issue, I see the awesome wireless storage button I wonder why International doesn't have all these stuff.
Hmm I see a signal fix for the rom hope that is for the signal drops but I'll check it out later,

Nice that you have found the solution to the problem. I am going to miss the kitkat dropdown menu again from Og3 but I'll make a backup and test the rom.
And the OP can definitely ask an moderator to move this to the d802 forum as this stock rom is an port from the Verizon V39A to the d802 and also to prevent some "newbies/rookies" who don't read to flash it.
But ofcourse it can only be moved IF the work is from the OP and if there are proper credits in the OP
I just wonder how why are there also L01F mentions in the vs980 v39A Rom?
Cannot get through start wizard, after language select and pressed Next pop up info "Wait for activation" and stayed here. Any idea what to do?

Nice reminder. Thanks. New fix added in OP (easier to upload a 25MB file than 1.5GB+ file).
This includes:
* As Verizon is in the US, they have US as target for connectivity. Most 30B firmware outside US targets what they name COM. So, this zip changes the target from US to COM.
* Fixed baseband showing unknown in About Phone (modem now being used is from NEU Europe 30B KDZ - you can flash any modem you'd like).
* Changed L01F to D802.
Requests are welcome but don't expect big changes. I have been using this ROM for about a month now and I only share the settings I make for myself.
