I need to install stock Hard SPL but my screen doesn't work. I need to press OK in order to install stock SPL on the screen but TP2 is missing tab and arrows won't work as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
You don't need to click OK instal SPL, its automatic, all you do it from is your computer.

I wish it were. It's asking me if it is ok to install unsigned application........ Any ideas what can be done?
Fix your screen? A touch screen phone is going to be pretty useless without a working touch screen.

That is why I'm asking how to install stock hard spl to bypass confirmation for warranty reason.
Why not connect it to your PC and use one of the many PC apps that can control the TP2? I use Soti Pocket Controller but there are many others and some are free. Good luck.
I wonder if you can just do a reset? Push the button inside the battery cover.

I thought about the same idea in the first place but as you know in order to install any kind of application on TP2 you must click the same damn OK, and without touch screen or tab on the keyboard is a problem.

How about MyMobiler? As far as I remember, you only need to install it on the pc and in connects via AS or WMDC. Could be wrong but worth a try. HERE

Nope, just the same as you can't click on Start menu using keyboard arrows.

if it makes you feel better i've warranty exchanged 3 devices which were hard spl'd, only flashed stock rom and returned it. Was never billed for the devices.
actually, one of the devices the screen went white and couldn't do anything so i exchanged it with a custom rom and hardspl. all the devices were on At&t.
also isn't there a way to install the stock spl from bootloader where u don't need to use the touch screen? not sure but i vaguely remember doing this on a the original tilt.

Enter button acts as ok or action button is some applications. Have you try that?
So I was hacking around yesterday and changed the dpi on my Moto 360 to try to get a particular app to fit on screen, think I took it down to 100 or so.
Problem is, the watch got disconnected at some point, so I couldn't change the dpi back to 213, and now all the circle buttons that pop up when you, for example, try to pair via bluetooth or when you want to reset, are off the screen at the bottom. I can see them for a split second when they scroll in, but then they're off the screen and unreachable.
I've looked online to see if theres a way to hard reset the watch, but the closest I've found is holding the button down for 25 sec to restart the watch, but that doesn't really help me.
Anyone have any suggestions? Is my watch just bricked for life?

Well there's no way to connect the watch to anything via bluetooth at this point; if I go to pair with a device, the screen pops up asking if I want to pair, and the 'yes' and 'no' buttons are off the screen, out of reach.
(I don't have an Android device, using Androidx86 via Parallels).

I'm not sure what you mean by recovery? If you mean resetting, its the same thing as I mentioned, I can't select 'yes' when it asks me the follow up question of "Reset device?"
Do you have a cable ? You must be rooted ....have you not tried to flash a rom or restore the device

No, I don't believe I am rooted. But more importantly, no, I don't have a cable, there is no cable port on the Moto 360, that's the main issue here.
Short of tearing the watch open and soldering my own connection, there's no way to create a physical connection with this watch.
Yes there is a connection port! It is hidden under a sticker below where the watch strap mounts. If you look in these forums you can find instructions on how to make a USB cable. I am not sure it will help you but it is an option you should explore.
Yeah editing system files over bluetooth is just a bad idea IMO, you need that hard connection when you mess up

Hi Guys,
i bought a Fire TV today and i think i already ****ed up.
I unpacked it, plugged everything in and got no signal on my TV. I saw that the remote was working since the light on the AFTV responded to my inputs. Tried changing channels on my TV but nothing worked. Then i figured to restart the AFTV and see again. Did that 2 or 3 times and nothing.
Turns out the HDMI cable wasn't fully plugged in. Stupid i know, but happens i guess.
So now i got the signal and the AFTV said the update failed and it should restart in a few minutes. OMG i think i unplugged it while it updated? Oh god no.
It never did restart on its own. I waited at least 15 min. Then i unplugged it again like the screen said and now it is stuck in the boot animation logo. 45 min in and nothing happens.
So i think i bricked my brand new AFTV. Is there anything i can do or do i have to send it back. Cant reach amazon support and support page says nothing about this. I m so mad right now.
Plugged in a usb keyboard and got into recovery mode. Recovery mode says the device will reboot in a "few minutes". It doesn't. I'm stuck.

I think if you hit escape or something you should be able to get to the recovery menu. You could try doing a factory reset.
No i can't do anything in the amazon recovery. It just says the AFTV will restart. But it doesn't.
Why don't you just phone Amazon? They are usually VERY helpful and will help you out

Yeah they did. They send me replacement. Just hoped to avoid that. But there seems no way to properly reset the device.

That's best I don't work for Amazon, but I can't deny that their customer service is second to none!
Useful to know, though... never unplug a Fire TV when it is updating
I did it once with an iPad... I managed to sort it out, but it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to accomplish.
hi guys, rooted my fire tv 2 just the other day and it has been accidentally factory reset, whilst rooted
when i power it on, i get the standard TWRP homescreen, but am not able to press the right directional key on the keyboard, so it boots up to sstandard homescreen, as it has been factory reset it wants me to pair the remote for the first time, no matter how long i press the home key for, or however many times, but it just will not detect
tried new batteries, still a no go
could somebody help me please?

I noticed pairing the remote is a little crappy. I would need to hold it down for a long time, then eventually it would continue.

I will try it again in the early hours of tomorrow when I'm not as frustrated by it lol so the factory reset whilst it being rooted hasn't caused any damage then? I was worried it had of

No. You can reset all day long if you want. I just did one yesterday. And it was a little frustrating getting the remote to sync. I really wish I could figure out a way to make it able to bypass that, since I just use a keyboard.

Phew. That's let me relax a little then. First time rooting properly and enjoying myself up until now haha.
That would be a great bypass. The FTV2 remote is a little crappy compared to 1st gen remote. The buttons feel horrible.
jeez that was a pain. taken me over 12 hours to get this thing to pair back, and i think it finally just happened by chance
for anyone else having this issue, just persevere it will finally pair

hey rbox, still having the issue with the right arrow key not becoming responsive in the TWRP boot up menu, but works fine after the home menu has booted up
any suggestions please?

Right ok just checked and it seems I'm not on the latest. How do I go about updating considering I have no way of using the keyboard to install from sd card

I am using indian unlocked version of moto z play and i have a good quality OTG which works fine with pendrives and ext HDD but when i connect to my gamepad (havit hv-g69) it wont detect it. Mobile detects and works with Bluetooth gamepads but its having problem with otg+gamepad. And yes the gamepad is working on my pc as expected.
Can anybody tell me whats wrong and how to fix it.

Yeah thats a bit difficult considering the phone does not show a list of devices attached nor do i have any games to show ingame.
The most i can do is show the controller attached being powered on from the phone.

Ok one last doubt,
Is it possible that my gamepad was detected in digital mode and since phone doesnt show anything i was been mistaken.
But in defense my game pad has a LED which glows when it is been switched to analogue mode from digital (default). And when i connected to phone and tried to play gangster 4 (yes, game supports gamepad) game it didnt work. What might be the problem?

I seen that web page before i got the gamepad. But i dont wanna root my phone since it makes my miss out on OTA. And i dont want to take flashing and hard work for gamepad work around. So i got struck with bad luck ha?

I have a Havit G-69 as well. On redmi 6A it works just by inserting. But on nokia 2.1 it doesn't. Only I can get a mixplorer notification (when its on) about it wanting access to "USB Joystick".
Doesn't it means it detects my gamepad?
bro same with me i have cosmic byte interstellar wired gamepad it does work in remi 4 but not in redmi 8 with otg or redmi 5 without otg it shows a unknown device connected its been 4 year do you get the solution now that helps me does rooting device harm something or it is safe ?
