Does it still boot? I dont see anything in cwm that would cause ur screen to go blank. It would either be stuck on amsung logo or bootloop or worse soft bricked. But if it still boots but the screen is just blank, then that may be an issue with ur hardware bud.

Not all n7100 has this problem, you try to flash this bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32588568&postcount=14
This error has reported in many forums but no ultimate solution yet:
Checkout some tips this might help
Turn off you phone and take your battery out
Now your mobile phone is off
Turn it on again by pressing power and volume button (up or down doesn’t matter) but same time.
After Logo “Android out of box will appear”
Press Menu button and wait a recovering button should appear
Recover your phone it might help?
Best of luck:good:

Thank You, I found it and already fixed it.
same problem
just for the sake of enforcement, i have the same problem. although i don't know if it was there from the start, but i noticed it after flashing rooted stock via ODIN.
then, i flashed CWM, and it was still there. I flashed a stock rom and checked if i can get into stock recovery, no luck!
then i flashed CWM from another source, and it was still there.
so i flashed CF-root to go back to stock recovery, and it is still there.
finally, i flashed CWM, and rebooted into recovery via ROM Manager, and flashed a custom ROM which includes a custom recovery, and it is still there!!!
So, i wake up every morning, and it is still there.....

That's a good thing.
You could try flashing stock firmware with Odin in download mode.
You could also try flashing a custom rom in recovery. (Like omega)
If this does not work i advice you to use kies from samsung and do a emergency restore/recovery.. surprisingly enough the recent versions of the program revived some Samsung phones quite well.. even when I lost hope.

Just turn off the phone, then press volume down + menu+ power buttons at the same time and you will get in downloadmode, then flash stock firmware with Odin. And please read up here on XDA about flashing , rooting, Odin and other stuff. If you do things on the fly you`re bound for disaster

[Help] I8150 Bootloop with broken Home Button

Hi,
First i dropped my phone on the ground.. but still works.. sort..
I did a firmware installation with Odin from a custom Rom to Stock to be able to get the warranty but i forgot to wipe data and now im stuck on Boot loop.
When i try to get to the recovery(vol up+home) i can enter the bootloader but then the "HOME BUTTON" doesn't work inside the menu to be able to wipe data and the "POWER BUTTON" doesn't work as replacement.
I tried to install CWM via odin and the HOME BUTTON doesn't work aswell.
Im trying to see if there is a way to wipe data with odin and i found this but the file is offline and it might not work with my I8150
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1670110
If you guys have some tips plz tell

still can't find the tar.md5 for TWRP
i can only see flashing possible through fastboot commands in pc or getting it from goomanager inside android and those dont work for me.
can you give me a help please?
option1: You have to remove screen to fi9x home button... as it has to be completed removed.
option 2: get a home button from ebay or from a broken phone, (home button of galaxy s2 etc also work fine) fix it to your board (pin) and use it to get into recovery.
I have attached twrp recovery unzip it and flash it via odin

[Q] PLS help! Bricked my phone very weird.

Hello everybody im not to sure what happened. Ill say everything from the beginning. I have a gt n7100 and i was rooted. I had twrp 2.5. I was on 4.1.2 and flashed via recovery DN3 rom. I was happy that it worked but there was a problem with wifi. So i tried to flash the wifi fix via odin. And heres what i did. nothing happened i think it didnt even find the phone. It said succed/failed 0. So i downloaded odin 3.04. Put phone in download mode and tried to do the same thing. It said leave cs. So what i did is i unplugged the phone from the computer, holded volume up and power up tryin to get out of download mode. I did a battery was shown and it tried to boot after that but it was stuck on thhe samsung galaxy note II display. Now what happens is the recovery cant turn on. The phone cant turn on but i can get in download mode. What should i do to save my phone. Pls help

We are not specific and are not spoon feeding you because this not done that way. You HAVE to spend time and learn what is what. The answers you need and the help you need are already here. If you're expecting download links and screenshots you shouldn't be modifying your phone. The whole point of this community is to learn and share the knowledge - not spoon feed.
Go to the TWRP thread, read up and download the tar that you need to flash through odin. Look for the MJ5 bootloader (hint: look up Wanam's ROM thread, that's one of the many places). After you got these two, boot to TWRP and flash the ROM.
Finally, as long as your phone gets into download mode, it's not bricked. And you got to do something incredibly foolish to make it not boot into bootloader. That said, it would be prudent to learn and act rather than blindly execute what you read - I said the same thing in not so many words in my reply to you in the DN3 ROM thread.

Flash it again. Deselect auto restart.
When done, hold volume up, menu/home key and power button. Leave all when the phone turns on/restarts at Samsung GT-i etc. If you still see that idiot dead on ground... post here.
