is there any app that can make our status bar transparent ??
i'm so much in love with my new phone that i'm not looking to root it for now, nut i miss the transparent status bar !

Check out on Google Play. I know that a theme exists on Galaxy S4 "HoloGlass".

No you just have to download and apply. BTW you need a custom ROM so it doesn't work sorry.

Anyone know how to get them? It is really annoying with all the JB black and dark blue. Need more vivid colours.
I could make a theme if someone can provide some instructions on how to edit and things like that.

You can get transparent status bar by modifying SystemUI.apk. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835833
Also some of CM10 themes come with it. Unfortunately the stock trebuchet launcher doesn't support transparent app drawer so you have to use another launcher like Nova or Apex.

Just upload here trebuchet.apk from/system/app and I will mod it to give you transparent app drawer. Or pm me.

Hey so i have the Galaxy S2 t989 model, and i was wondering the same thing if it was possible to make my app drawer transparent on trebuchet launcher that comes stock with CM10, any help is appreciated thanks!

Search it in forum S4 status bar not ported but you can install transparent status bar.

Already tried...indeed, first image it's a screenshot from my wonder and I have the last S4 theme and touchwiz...but the widgets are the same, as you can see... thanks anyway

In arcos 10.1 go to settings and notifications and enable power widget if thats what you are looking for?

no, that's not! i'm looking for a theme for the power widget (i've already enabled)...if you look at the images at first post, you can see that i wanna enable labels under the icon, the bar and a huge icon (as you can see in the second image, touchwiz samsung galacy s4 style, similiar gingerbread)

yeah cuz i tried on cm10, bootloop happened... tried on cm9 works but looks ugly when in landscape mode... for those who want to try just makesure you have at minimum 6 toggles and check/mark the hide indicators and hide scrollbar options in the notification drawer settings.. im still trying to find touchwiz notification toggles for cm10 though..

Here is Galaxy S4 Status bar. It is transparent and wifi icon changed to lte icon.
Could I install this on linaro slim

Make sure you're running it on Koodo Stock JB. Also make sure you set the permissions to rw r r

Yes. But if you want this status bar, you can attach your systemui.apk and I will make it transparent plus gs4 status bar icons.

Nah that didn't work when it rebooted, no status bar icons, all screens were black couldn't reset wallpapers. Must not like the rom I'm running. Thanks though

Hi, I have Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 with official KitKat firmware, I have a friend and he have Galaxy S4 and I looked at is status bar and it's look nice and transparent, I really hope there is a way to do this to my Note.. the device is rooted!, I saw this and I really don't know nothing about how to compile and decompile apks, so I hope someone can help me do this or try to give my another way.. Are you using some kind of launcher with ur kitkat official firmware?
Use touchwiz as default launcher you will have the transparent status bar.

Yep, I sure, and you right the status bar is transparent but not in videos or games when you pull it down.. Thanks anyway!

It's supposed to be like that. Transparent status bar doesn't appear unless the developer implemented it into their app.

I know but I talking about Clash Of Clans, or the default video player, in the S4 it's transparent but in my note it's not..

The default video player may be coded different in the s4 firmware compared to the note. You can force it with a xposed module though...
