Would be nice to see pics of it.

Says its for the F-240, which is Korean version. Might not fit properly. I know some people have had slight issues with the lock tabs on the flip covers for the F-240.

You can anyways modify,I think the battery is the same across all.

Modify what? The backplate? The phone? What are you talking about?
If they are sending along a new backplate with the battery, its because the battery is bigger/thicker than stock. Modifying would mean it wont fit as its supposed to and you'd probably have gaps. Not worth it to me.
Give it a minute and the makers of these batteries will design a backplate for the E980, but its gonna make a thin device into a real brick!

I mean the clips. Modify the clips. The battery is the same across all models I belief.

way too expensive

i hugely doubt that the korean and US versions differ at all. the only diff i see is just the software not hardware.
i also hope the battery doesnt stick out which would render a sleek slim phone stupid looking.

The battery will stick out, which is why they give you a new backplate.
And the US and Korean versions do differ on the back some due to the F240 having an extendable antenna in the corner. This is why one of the clips is slightly off center compared to the E980.
As far as the battery having its contacts in the same place in both models, I honestly don't know. Haven't seen anyone post on that. If you order this battery you can let us all know!

I already emailed mugen if it would fit and they said it wouldn't plus the new zero lemon battery is half the price but it has 9000mah. Way better deal.

Zero lemon is way better and way cheaper

I wonder if the built in Wireless Charging will still work with the Zero Lemon battery because they give you a different case back...
Does anyone know?

Iphone has these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Steel-Aluminum-Chrome-Hard-Back-Case-Cover-iPhone-4-4S-Silver-Gift-/270837391940
But im not sure how good they might be. Possibly interfere with reception?
I mean all htcs have one. Not too sure if it would interfere with reception or not. I think it just makes the phone feel much nicer, both aesthetically and better practicality as it gives it more protection i would assume. I would be all over this if anyone can find one. Ill be the guinea pig to buy and test for review.

Metal battery cover would cause the NFC to not work seeing as the antenna is in the battery.

yeah .... because everyone actually uses the NFC.....
Or they could make a metal/plastic one. Metal were the battery is not and plastic were it is. Just a thought

I would just go for different color ones right now.
White would be great, just like the international one.. Just plain sexy, I had it for my vibrant and it looked like a completely different phone.

I honestly have not come across any obstacle that involved NFC. As of right now NFC is sort of a gimmick until America fully adopt it. It would be fun to pay for things with my phone instead of reaching in my back pocket for my wallet. I think once Apple phones get NFC then American businesses will most likely hop on since Apple is the leader (in the average consumer eyes) of phones.

Mugen 2300mah extended battery

Hey everybody, I googled extended batteries for the gs3 & came across a mugen branded extended battery. I have never heard of it till' today, & have never purchased from them before, do any of you guys have one, or know someone who does? I'm looking for an extended battery but without all the bulk, any recommendations?
I actually have this.
I can't really whether there is a difference. I feel it is about the same or slightly better. Is there an app that can measure? If so, I can let you know.

check out my thread with the anker battery tested and proven more than stock...i dont want to talk down on mugen as i have not used their battery on this phone.
isn't this battery 3.7v while stock is 3.8v? i don't think you will get much benefit from this battery over stock.

I don't know what link you are referring to. I bought it straight from mugen.
My advise is just get a replacement stock battery. I think the additional amount doesn't justify it.
I just can't tell the difference.

Unless they use some kind of new technology lol.
The cover and the battery sit pretty much flush now.
Yeah and they're never going to be putting new technology into a now "old" phone. I can almost guarantee that it will be larger but i doubt it will look anything close to the size of the Hyperion 4200.
Hooooly crap, this would be awesome!

Better battery that will fit in an Otterbox Defender.

I'm looking for a higher capacity battery that will fit in my Otterbox Defender case for my SGH-T999.
My current battery is the stock 2100mha battery.
I would like one that is of any higher capacity, but will still fit in the battery compartment.
ZeroLemon puts out a great product. I own their largest extended battery for the GS3 and largest slim extended battery for the GS3.
Check out the slim extended battery here.
It's 2300mAh and fits just like the stock battery in the stock battery cover. But it lasts considerably longer than stock.

This is a good deal and I use these from time to time when I want a break from the 7000ZL lol. My girl uses one every day and will last her all day where stock would not. It says it has NFC but I haven't tested it so it should work. They sell a single battery for about 9 bucks well as one with no NFC. Worth a look at in my opinion. The 2300 fit in the stock battery cover as well.

No, it doesn't have NFC.
If you read the customer review in the Amazon page:
"At first glance the batteries looked a bit ghetto because somebody took a sharpie to erase the "NFC Enabled" label on each battery (because NFC is NOT enabled)"
I wanted to buy one of these but I don't like the lack of NFC

That aint bad for 20$. Two batteries and a charger (that I will never use)
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep em in mind. I'm still gonna attempt to find an extended life battery around 3000mAh+ with a rugged case that will fit it. I almost went for the Trident one, until I found out the battery in it is actually weaker than my stock one.
I just love the screen protector on my otterbox, I dont really want a case without one.
Well yeah, if you are not interested in NFC it's a very good deal for 20$
