Bluetooth Speaker - One (M7) Accessories

Good bluetooth speaker for under $50 make it happen!

You could try any of the Creative D series starting with: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Wireless-Bluetooth-Speaker-Black/dp/B004X28I0A

I have one of these in my bathroom and it sounds great. Found it on ebay for $25.
http://www.amazon.com/HMDX-HX-P230G...4&sr=1-3-fkmr0&keywords=jar+bluetooth+speaker
Also I feel like everyday there is a bluetooth speaker available on Groupon Goods.

If you have any speakers or a radio or anything you could just get a bluetooth receiver? Dunno if that helps you?

These are also really cool for the price ... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...nics&field-keywords=boombug+bluetooth+speaker.
You should be aware though the One does not do well with Bluetooth and Wifi on at the same time. The signal distance on my One goes from 30 feet down to 8 with Wifi active ...ymmv

You get what you pay for. Invest in a big jambox and you'll be happy you took my advice.

+1 It's worth it to invest in a quality speaker if you plan to use it a lot. I have the Bose SoundLink II and it's awesome. I've taken it on 2 trips and use it whenever I have get togethers at my place. Everyone is amazed at the sound quality from such a small speaker. I also enjoy listening to it in the garage when I'm working on my car. One of my favorite electronics toy.. besides my HTC One, ofcourse.

You can find the HMDX at any company owned AT&T store if you want to test it out. It's not bad for what it is.

Looking for Headphones w/ Mic for Samsung Vibrant

As much as I enjoy the stock heaphones shipped with my Vibrant, I want something a little better. Looking for some good inexpensive ($80 or less) headphones with a microphone.
If you all have any good reviews, testimonials or just suggestions for good headsets, please post here. I would really appreciate it and I'm sure plenty of people would want to know too.

Go bluetooth. I'll gladly recommend my Sony MW600. It's just a little receiver that you can plug your own headphones into. It has a mic, FM radio, and can pair up to three devices. I pretty much use it for anything, including listening to music on my computer. The sound is very good (almost indistinguishable from the 3.5mm jack), and it has volume and track controls which work with pretty much any player.
It's also super light and can go 8 hours of audio, prob a little less for voice comms; standby time is in days. In terms of power draw on the phone, I've noticed that leaving BT on drains about 2% total... which probably saves me power since I don't have to turn on the screen as much.
I got mine for about $50 on Amazon. It comes with its own earphones, but I opted to get a nicer pair (Audio Technica, ckm50a) with short cables. Total cost was under $90.
If you must go the wired route, I would suggest the Ultimate Ears Superfi 5vi. You can go more expensive, but this is probably the cheapest wired headset approaching audiophile quality.
you can get skullcandy headphones with the mic at T-Mobile.
I would say try the Skull Candy 50/50's. I have heard good things about them and thats what ill be purchasing soon. U can get them from radioshack or the direct website for more color choices.

Do the volume control's on the 50/50 work on the Vibrant?
Are there any wired headsets with controls other than the one button (hang-up, start/stop) that work well with the vibrant?

The holy grail of blue tooth ear buds for gym

If your a big gym nut and do a lot of cardio, sports. The Freedom JF3's are remarkable! I've been waiting for these since CES and bought them yesterday. No more snagging your cord and knocking down your precious.
Thought I would share my success with everyone here. Highly recommended!!!

I will have to give these a look. Any idea if they are sweatproof? That's my biggest problem with headphones and working out. I sweat a lot and they eventually short out. I didn't see anything obvious on the product page regarding this feature. I sent a product inquiry asking the company and will report back if anyone's interested.

Very much sweatproof, that's the idea behind these headphones. Lifetime warranty against sweat and malfunction.
oh i am really feeling these. i cant wear my huge Beats by Dr Dre everywhere so i might give this a go for when i hit the gym
Just picked up a pair from BestBuy since they have an exclusive on the things I was forced to pay the full retail of $99.99. I'm charging them up now but I'll be back with a full report back on how they do. I currently have a pair of Motorola S9-HD, I did have the S10-HD but they sounded worse then the S9 so I returned them.
So check back and I'll have that report after I return from the gym in about 2 hours.
Edit:
It took me a few minutes to set them up, pair with my Thunderbolt and find the correct earbud sleeve as well as adjust the cable that links them around my neck but they fit well and were easy to pair.
The Good:
They sound amazing... maybe not on par with a great set of plug in headphones like say the Beatz by Dre but head and shoulders above my Moto S9-HD that I use currently. They fit great even though I didn't really spend alot of time finding the perfect combo for my ears. They also felt comfortable as well, they give you 3 or the standard sleeves you get on the S9's and 3 additional sleeves they call GeckoGrip for a total of 6 sleeves. 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large. I only had them slip out maybe twice during my entire workout with stretching, running and weights all in my workout and I think that with a little fine tuning they won't slip at all. Volume is also very loud with a tiny bit of clipping at the highest volume but still well louder than I would ever need before the clipping occurs. The battery seems stout as I made it through an entire 2 hours plus between drive time, stretching/warmup, workout and I even tanned (yes I know.... I'm a guy and I tan. I suffer from S.A.D. and my dr suggested trying it rather than medication and it works for me) and that's with only maybe a half full battery.
The Bad:
Even though they are fairly easy to use I really don't like the multi use buttons all that much. The volume up/down combo for a track back/forward button depending on how they are pressed. That in itself isn't bad but they are fairly small which does make them a bit tricky to short press or long press while running. After a little more use I'm sure I'll have no issues with getting used to them but larger buttons would be a nice addition as there is plenty of room for it. For some the price might be an issue at $99.99 and only available through 1 source at present.
Conclusion:
I think that I'll be selling my S9's and these will be my new BT stereo workout headphones as they are by far the best that I have personally used. Small and light without feeling cheap. Clean, clear sound with great bass response and plenty of volume to drown out the noisiest of gyms. Easy to use with enough choices in sleeves to make a comfortable, secure fit for anyone.

lol, beyond awful
I use a pair of Panasonic RP-HSC200K as my dedicated gym buds. They're the kind that wrap around your ear so they don't fall out and can resist my gross sweat. They're flexible and can take the abuse of throwing them into my gym bag with my shoes and gear (so far). I like that style because buds like the stock one and iPod ones I have kept popping out my ear when I jog/use the elliptical and get sweaty. They cost $60 and the sound is decent in my opinion. I wasn't looking for audiophile quality considering that I knew they would be abused and soaked in sweat, lol. I didn't want to get something that I would have to worry about.
The mic integration works fine and the button to pause/skip to next song, but the volume controls don't work with my Nexus. They do on iPhone and iPods.

I hear that. I carried these headphones over from when I used to have an iPhone 4 and yeah, it kind of sucks to lose that functionality.
Apparently it's difficult overall to find a pair where both volume up and down work on the in-line controls? Doesn't seem like a lot of models that are iPhone compatible work with Android as well. I dunno. I do have a pair of Skull Candy earbuds as well with mic and volume controls. I'll have to re-test it and see if it works.

If your willing to spend the $100 I HIGHLY recommend the Jaybird Freedom. They are very good. Sweat/water resistant, comfortable, bluetooth, and sound really great especially for blue tooth.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and I now use them more than my cans or Bose wired headset. They have nice all around sound and nice bass and I've honestly never heard blue tooth headset sound so good.
Only two drawbacks I've seen with them are the mic is a little choppy if your talking to someone (Focus on your workout, not talking ), and your going to need to wear an armband if your outside as the signal won't have walls to bounce off and will cut in and out if your phone is in your pocket.
Check them out:
http://www.amazon.com/Jaybird-Freed...8DOM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333998241&sr=8-1
Edit: These things are easily worth the $99 price tag on Amazon. Now that I've used them and broke them in, I'd gladly pay $200 for them.

I appreciate everyone's input.
Unfortunately at the moment I can not spend more than I guess 50 to 60 dollars on a pair. A) cause I need to replace my windshield and B) This will be probably only to listen to music while I work out I rarely ever since myself in situations where I am listening to music while I am out and about unless I am driving I would have it plugged into my stereo.
Those Jaybirds looks so legit I wish I could get them. I think I am going to have to get the skull candy one. God I wish they didn't have the ****ty logo. Looks so high schoolish. Ugh I hate that. I probably look like so punk kid that has no respect for their elders lol.
Unless anyone else has any suggestions for something under 60 or 50. Sound quality would be nice I understand you get what you pay for.

They are giant monstrosities that stick out of your ear about an inch, they are so "heavy" hanging that far out that they don't make a good seal and are always falling out.
Do your reviews first before wasting any money here.
Thanks for chiming in compusmurf. Any other recommendations? If falling out is a major factor w/ these styles I suppose I can sacrifice a little comfort :/
I've looked and looked and looked and the absolute BEST solution I could find was one of these: Jabra BT3030. Samsung and another company has one.
It's a BT interface that allows you to use your OWN darn headset which you know fits you.
Which is nice because I have custom IEM's fitted for my ears.
However, it's a bit less than completely "wireless".
I have LG tone hbs-700 and i love them. The ear peices are line regular headphones.

I have the BackBeat 906+ and it's really awesome. It's the only stereo headset I've used that phone calls are also in stereo. Most stereo headsets route call audio to one earpiece, but this bad boy does both. It has decent sound quality and it's LOUD. Hope this helps.

Radioshack has them for $99.99, the plus is you can get a warranty for $10.99. Now I hate warranties but for the $11 dollars you pay you can get your money back on a RS gift card within the year of purchase, meaning if the internal battery gives out, or if you simply don’t like them anymore, you can claim the warranty… and if you are do for an upgrade you can use the GC towards that new phone. That’s how I’ve got my last two phones.

I really like my Rocketfish bluetooth headset I got from Best Buy. They're only $60, the charge lasts like 12-14 hours, and the sound quality isn't bad at all! They're over the ear, which I like because I wear them when I go lifting at the gym. Sweat hasn't damaged them at all. The only problem I've had with them is there's these strips of rubber inside the frame for "cushioning" that have a tendency to come out over time. You can either rip them out (I've noticed absolutely no difference in comfort) or superglue them back in.

Edit: Looked on Amazon, and they have them for $20-30 cheaper!

Looking for a Pair of Earbuds (NOT "In-Ear")

I'm looking for a Pair of Earbuds similar to the white ones that come with the iPhone/iPod Touch. I don't like the "in-ear" ones with the rubber tips that go inside the ear canal. I find them to be uncomfortable and they tend to slip off without much effort. Audio quality is not really a huge issue from me. I mean, I'm no audiophile but I don't want it to sound horrible either. Also, price is not a big concern. The reason why I don't use the iPhone ones is because of the poor build quality. I've searched around but can't find anything I like so I thought I'd ask here thanks in advance!

The default ones from HTC are really nice.
Apple earbuds are sweet, too.
I bought some Sony ear buds with the 'wrap around the ear' position retention device (@ the Buy More, $25). I forget they are there and they don't leave blisters on my inner tragus.

All of the Beats models look like they are in-ear to me. Which model are you looking at?
I'm not too familiar with good quality earbuds, but you should consider that with foam tips, in ear headphones can be very comfortable and stay in place well. The stock silicon ones are usually itchy to me, but the foams are nice and I barely notice my earphones are even in. Extra bonus is added noise isolation.
Just food for thought. Oh, and I'd stay away from all things Beats.

I've tried the foam ones as well but Idk I guess my ear are weird or I'm not putting them in right because they fall off too. The first pair of in-ear earbuds I bought were actually skull candy with foam tips and I haven't liked them since then lol guess I'm just going to have to go with actual headphones.
Any recommendations?

I'm using some Shure's with the Shure black foam "Olives". To fit them in, roll the tip to compress them, then stick the IEM (in ear monitor) in your ear, and hold it for a second. Also, using the kind that runs the cable over the top/back of the ear helps then stay secure.
You might have used a size you small.
Incidentally, Skull Candy never has impressed me either, lol.
www.head-fi.org is the best place to go to research and learn. You might just find the perfect pair of IEMs for cheaper than you think, and then spend a little bit on Shure or Comply foams, and be happy until you realize that even MORE expensive earphones intrigue you.

Skull Candy and Beats are pretty much a waste as you can get much better quality for the same price. If you just want an everyday brand that's worth the cash Sony is great. The ones I have are excellent sound-wise; the only issue with in-ear headphones is that they can lead to a lot of build-up from actually pushing wax back into your ear canal.
That is true. I q-tip my ears daily to eliminate buildup getting into mine.
Also, a little expensive, and I know very little about them, but I did find high quality earbuds fun a respected brand.

I'd have to wear those as jewelry at all times to justify that price.
Lol. I've spent that much in the last year and a half on two pairs of IEMs. Whenever my current ones die, I'm sure I'll spend around $300.

If you are looking at headphones, Sony stereo headphones MDR-ZX100's are great and cheap. I think they're 25$ at Wal Mart

I have tried all kinds of earphones and the ones i found most confortable, good quality and excellent sounding are the Sennheiser MX460 . Not expensive either. Not foam or in ear.
