Is there any dock solution available that has hdmi out (via a built in mhl to hdmi converter) or at least an 3,5mm audio out? Can't seem to find one.
And btw is is possible at all to have charging/data transfer while using mhl to hdmi?
An all in one solution would be sooooo awesome, a dock with a usb otg host, hdmi out and 3,5mm line out while being connected to pc or ac. But that of course would be a kernel problem i guess.

Not unless you get the MHL adapter tip and use one of those cables with it.
If you have an mhl enabled tv it will work, because that one gives power.

Why cant Samsung or any 3rd come up with a dock which acts as a MHL adapter !!!

I can not seem to find a dock that includes HDMI out and a USB hub for my Nexus 5. I have a few ideas but none of them seem very feasible. Does anybody have any docks or docking solutions that they can recommend? I found a 2 way micro usb splitter, and I was going to plug a small usb hub and a slimport hdmi out adapter in to the 2 available ports. but I feel like that will not work. I found a little MHL plug with a media card reader, single usb port, and an hdmi port, but from what I have seen the Nexus 5 doesn't support MHL. Would any roms support MHL, or is it a hardware thing? Any answers or recommendations would be much appreciated!
Not counting Miracast and wireless display, does this phone allow for use with and HDMI cable? Does it use slimport like the tablet?

I've just tried mine with a Slimport HDMI adapter and it doesn't appear to be working.
I'm on the CM-11 ROM though so maybe that's why it doesn't work.
It wont connect through any cable..it hasnt got a supported connection...

If ur looking for a USB cable to HDMI, look up MHL cable. I'm however not sure if he zenfone 2 can use a passive or powered MHL. Since I'm unsure I would suggest a powered MHL cable.
