Hi,
Does anyone know how i could install the Samsung Galaxy Splanner app (calendar) onto my HtC One ?

if it's not connected to the framework or TW roms then you could try pulling it from a galaxy rom and pushing it to your phone

U cant ot needs the tw framework too

Any version of android with another ui(sense or touchwiz) has it's own framework so some apps are integrated with other apps. Without the framework though, the app is missing integral files that it needs to be able to reference to function.
Which I think is dumb because I'd really like to see the TW music and sms apps work on non-Tw toms.

aCalendar suggestion

I like the Galaxy Splanner calendar too. Found aCalendar in Play Store, has many of same features, I like it a lot better than the HTC stock calendar. Check it out.

Indeed I found aCalendar and it has a great UI... thanks for sharing.

I enclose a pack on the Galaxy S4, if people find a way to install all and especially of VoiceTalk
thank you

I don't know what's hard to understand as peiple still go in about this.
It DOESN'T WORK and never will unless you want to port a whole tw Rom... Which most probably won't work either.

[REQ] News and weather apk for SGS3

News and weather (aka Genie) has always been the first thing I install on my previous galaxies, Can someone work out how to make it work for sgs3 please
Kind regards Dan
I've had a look at the apps inside Cyanogenmod roms and can't identify a specific apk for news and weather I'm afraid so it must be part of something. Otherwise you could just install it and off you go. So far with my S3, I've added the calender, music, gallery and messaging apps from Cyanogen9 to replace the fat Samsung versions, gradually heading to a stock ICS feel, oh, Nova launcher as well.
Just pull the genie apk from Google apps and put it into /system/app
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9300 mit Tapatalk 2
Its named GenieWidget.apk in CM9 ROMs and AOKP ROMs it will work because its based on 4.0
Here it is (extracted from a ICS customrom for the S2):

You have to copy/paste it to /system/app using Root explorer for example.
It's then in the list of your available widgets
Working on AT&T Galaxy Note i717
Thanks for the link and info on putting it in /system/app. It worked instantly on my rooted AT&T Galaxy Note i717 with ICS 4.0.4 ROM.
Transparent genie widget

(if someone could get the pretty graphics for the weather widget that come with the S3 into this News and weather widget - we would definitely have a great widget)

Another successful nod for the above apk working on a non rooted s3!

the answer is simple...u need sense to run any app made for sense..so quit trying..
The apps and widgets require sense framework to be used. I don't think a sense rom exists for the n4.

You can port it. Actually what you'd need is someone who's willing to do that.

It's not a quick job, HTC seem to have made changes to the kernel to support their Sense stuff (or to prevent it being ported, depending on how cynical you are).

[REQUEST] S4 stock apk to S3

Is there a way you can help port the secmms.apk & the other stock S4 apps to the Samsung S3 stock ROM???
Sent from my SGH-I747M using xda app-developers app
My post at the bottom (at time of posting this reply) will give you a link to the new S-Voice from the S4 dump, as well as a better camera app ported from another device (not S4, but I'm not entirely sure which device)

I think it relies on some other files within the new touchwiz. I tried it last night, was able to open it. But it would crash right away. Might be 4.2.2 dependant.

I was able to get quite a few working, a lot of the main apps (secphone, secmms, gallary and camera) require additional work to get working. Shouldn't be too long until they are ported though.

Installation fails because it is missing libraries. This is on 4.2.2.

[Petition] Stock E-Mail apk from Galaxy S4

Is there a ported stock e-mail app from the Galaxy S4 to the SGS2? If any, please, upload it. I'll be very thankful, because I couldn't find it in anywhere
99% would not work because of different android version..

[Q] Looking for Touchwiz on Galaxy W

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy W with CM10 Final Release and Gapps and i am looking for Samsung Touchwiz with S3 or S4 look.
I tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010085
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667051
http://www.mrmad.de/samsungtouchwiz-addon-fur-jellybean-helly-bean-auf-dem-sgs1-2408
The last one is my favorite, but it is not 100% what i am looking for. Some features are missing. (AllShare Play, Samung Camera App,...)
Anyone have another Touchwiz Link?
I tried at last this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259071
This is a great ROM. Is it in this Rom possible to make an update to a newer Version?
The last Version is V7 (Based on CM10.1 Alpha 7. What happened by a newer version? Update possible? Or new installation required?

1st: CM10.1 Alpha 7 is the latest version. There is no update required as of now. Its up to date.
2nd: Here are links to download the stuff you want.. [1] [2] [3] Not sure if you would need this with the widget but here it is anyway. (Push the widget, task manager [if required] and gallery to /system/app and put correct permissions.
3rd: I need more info when you say start screen. Is it boot animation or lock screen? Boot animation is here. Lockscreen is preloaded in the 4th ROM link. Here's for CM10.
4th: ._. Digital Clock... really? You can't go on Play Store and find a widget? Try this anyway.
5th: ... Play Store is there for a reason... Try this or this. Your preference.
Tip: Google is your friend (unless you have safe search off) and so is the Play Store...
THX. After my Holladay i will try the links :good:
Task manager is working.
AllShare Play doesn´t work
Another APK possible?
Other Stuff is great. THX.
I'm still looking for it, but for now I don't find anything that works at least at 99%.
Do you guys know any one better than the ones published?
