how to block incoming calls in xda II ??

ok the topic asks the question itself....... ive seen a software on killermobile.com that can block incoming calls and can do the work for and answering machine...... anything like this for xda II i am sure has to be something if siemens has it why not windows based mobile phones ?? if theres anything like this can you guys give me the link or name of the software ??

well , there is a Program called " Smartfilter Pro " , u can download it from the FTP here i think , or it must be uploaded somewhere here .

I strongly need that too, I found some applications but they were not powerfull, any advice?

i have been using Smartfilter Pro for a long time and i think it's the best but the sad part that you have to pay for it...

ok this is the one .............but would also like to know if theres a software which does the work as answering machine......auto pick up the call and play back a recording from your pda ?

im looking for the one with th e sym button working thats leads to the symbols......the @ button works on mine ..just ht e sym button leads to "e" with an accent over it thnx

its a cab file?...before i try it,i have english and spanish installed on my rom ..will this cab file override my languages and install just the english language?

More than likely. The spanish files will still be there, but might not be mapped in the registry.

This file does not seem to allow alpha entry for phone numbers.
The original T-Mobile one does.
For example to call UPS (United Parcel Service)
Dial
1800PICKUPS
by typing
1800 pi alt-c kup alt-s
(alt-c and alt-s are used so that the 8 and 9 keyvalues are not used)
This results in the showing of the number being dialed as
1(800)PICKUPS
and beneath this
1(800)7425877
When can I get the T-Mobile style version?

The eT9 file has nothing to do with that feature. That feature is nice, and I would like to have it also, but am clueless on how to enable it right now. I will try to compare the ROM's later and see if I can find anything. In the meantime, I've been using alphadialer... found here -

do u think u can give me the raw txt file or inorderto get the symbols u need to install the cab?
in on rickys from i have that sym key working but when i swapped txt file to change the @/j button i lost eh sym key

thnx i tried the raw file and the cab but the sym key still doesnt work..is this a exclusive tmobile feature or there is also a sym key on the regular htc s60
also the dialign with letters feature is kool..may when tmobile relase thier version of the 6.1 ricky can cook it if its cookable

Voice changer

Hi everybody
i´m looking for a app, which allows you to change your voice during a phonecall.
I saw it once on a friends cell.You can select between child voice, woman voice etc..

There is an application called Voice Twister but its not free.. google for Windows Mobile Voice Twister

No, cuze u must record ur voice, change or pitch it and then u can play the edit version.

I just received my G3 with a lote of U+ stuff.
And Korean Dialer.
The most anointing thing is rhat every time when I try to make a call I receive a screen that ask me call to korea or call Local.
Anyone know how can replace the rom or at list stop the buging roaming dial

I installed the rom it's a very good rom.
the developer did a very good job, he translate most of the rom to English.
Hebrew UI is not an option.

Call recording on S20 phones

Hi,
Has anyone managed to get call recording to work on any of the S20 phones?
Many of the call recording apps don't work, but I read somewhere that if you root the phone you can get it to record.
Another website mentions changing the CSC to one of the countries that allow call recording, for example Thailand. Apparently there is a built-in recorder in those countries' S20 phones.
Is there any way to get it to record?

Can we change the CSC to enable this, by installing a Thai Sim or updating to a specific Firmware?
I ordered my S20+ from Vodafone Germany and also ordered a Thai Travel Sim to try this since it apparently worked on other Galaxy Phones in the past.
I hope I can configure the Phone without a Sim to order the Galaxy Buds+ (free for Preorders but has to be ordered through an App on the Phone, so I suspect it must know it's German at this stage) and change to Thai after before it gets 'locked'.
Call Recording is a crucial feature for me.

Skvalex call recorder has a guide in his website how to do it. But you need to have a Thai SIM.

No, changing of sim card trick is not working anymore, I tried already.

Indonesia-XID firmware has call recoding

but sadly once u change your CSC to a different country, for example thailand, you'll be gifted with thai related apps.. on my previous phone i just edit the CSC to enable native android call recording.
but you will need root for this.

Exactly, but you gain some and you loose some. If someone preffer call recording, main option you loose is Samsung Pay, other apps work fine. It's just the preferences. I would like to have call recording, i can secrifice Samsung Pay
Rooting phone is different ball game alltogether. I dont think rooting is worth enough. you dont acheive mush with rooting now a days, (Just my openion)
But i would really look forward to change CSC on my phone, and waiting eagerly for a work around

So I now have my phone (S20+ 5G - SM-G986B) and was looking to change the CSC...
Out of the Box, the Thai Sim did little to nothing. Obviously Samsung recognized the region, since Ts&Cs / Samsung Member confirmation was in Thai (even though I set it to my region), but nothing as far as CSC or Call Recording are concerned.
Did I see correctly that there isn't even a THL Firmware for this model?
Any suggestions?

U can use call recorder acr from the playstore in de meantime. :good:

I just recieved my s20+. I think that Thailand sim didn't work because only csc on a phone is a csc country you purchased phone. No multi rom. Hope it will change when they realise multi rom.

Doesn't work for me. It does record calls, but apparently converts to a wrong Sample Rate as it plays back multiple times (5.5) faster than it was recorded.

Technically the released Multi-Roms: There's definitely an OXM including THL for SM-G985F (S20+ 4G) - just not for the 5G model. Maybe I should have saved €100 for the 5G that I can't use in my Region anyway. Thought I would future-proof.

All "international exynos versions have call recording built-in into the software. To enable it, the right flag should be enabled in the cscfeature.xml file (you need root for that, unencrypt the file, modify it and overwrite it back again).
However I'm not sure if you can write to that product partition anymore, on the S20s (we cannot write to system directly anymore). Worst case scenario, a Magisk module could do it.
I'll try it now on my S20+ 5G (intl) and report back ??

Please keep my posted, I am eagerly waiting for it.
Currently on a rooted Huawei P20 Pro, I have my S20+ 5G laying on my desk unused, since I assume I'll need to wipe and flash it anyway (either during bootloader unlock or CSC Change) to achieve recording.
Recording truly is a showstopper / knock-out criteria to me.
If I cannot do it, I will have to return the phone.
Frankly, the improvements over my current phone are way too minor to justify the price of admission anyway.
