Next Launcher 3D FULL FREE LIMITED TIME - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

This exists in a few other device forums. Incase you guys didnt see it: http://www.droid-life.com/2013/06/0...uncher-3d-app-for-free-today-with-this-trick/
Thanks to Slick Deals and Droid-Life!!
First install the ”lite” version from Google Play, then once you have it installed and running as your current launcher, go into the Menu (the furthest right icon in the dock, 3 vertical dots) and go into Preferences. Go into “About the Full Version”, then choose “Activate” button (it may appear grayed out but just press it) and enter: “nextlauncher3d” as the account and “appoftheday” as the code. Enjoy.

Thanks for the heads up but damn I just tried it out and there is just way to much stuff going on for my tastes haha

I would really love this launcher, if I were about 10 years old

I tried it for about 10 minutes, then deleted it. Thankfully the curiosity to kill the cat was free, and not $16

No reserve

Same here. It changed my wallpaper automatically, when that happened I knew I would be uninstalling it right away.
Too bulky.

CM7 help.

Ok this is the first time I ever used CM anything. I figured out how to get the gapps but how to integrate my DB contacts with my reg. Ones? I've been on myn's so I don't know what I have been missing. I even read the wiki on this.
1. Fb integration
2. Changing toggles in notification bar.
3. Finding a red/black theme
4. Swype for cyan ?
5. Anything else useful I should know.
Please and thank you! (I'll be sure to hit the thank button if you help me.)

By DB contacts do you mean from a microsoft exchange account? Best to export them to a .vcf file and import them to your phone.
1. install facebook, under settings, accounts and sync, check the sync contacts box. That'll link it.
2. Settings, cyanogenmod settings, interface, notification power widget.
3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11760329#post11760329
4. Go onto swype's website, sign up NOW, they'll send you an email with instructions. Do it now because its a beta that will close soon. Its still free.
5. Enjoy it.

I flashed the themes from the destroyer ROM over CM7 and they work great as well. They will give you a lot of options, about 13 in the theme manager.
Contrary to what the person above me said, most themes you no longer need to flash. CM has the T-Mobile Theme Engine now, which just lets you side-load an APK, then select the theme in the Theme Manager app, then reboot. That's it!
No more flashing crap that breaks on every other update.
where are they? My CM theme manager only came with 3 options. Love to get more easily
I mean fb contacts lol and I'll try these. I was gonna say I'm getting horrible battery but it's hard to judge cause my phone was in the coat room with no signal 58%.

All over the place! There's some in the Market, and dozens posted in all of the Themes sections here on XDA. You could give BlueBuzzer or Honeybread a try, for example.
Remember, just download the APK, install the APK, select the theme in the manager, and then reboot. No flashing or anything. Taking a backup beforehand though wouldn't hurt.
The red CM7 THEME is amazing. I would like to know why my juice defender isn't working though. I cannot accurately judge my battery life but I know Juice would help me.

I don't use it personally, but not all apps are compatible with 2.3 [gingerbread] yet, so you may have to wait.
It's probably cause I'm running an older version. Don't really like the new UI. I am gonna try installing a different version to see if it makes a difference. Now I understand what all this GB hype is about.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yea, I went gingerbread when it came out soon after I first rooted my phone and refuse to look back.
I can see why. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get my name on the lock screen in cm7.

Well I think that is what you're looking for. You do that method, except he used "karadorde" for his phone, and I put it teh roxxorz on mine. You can make the text say whatever you want it to. And mine shows up like that on the lock screen and notification bar.
It worked. I used AndroZip and Terminal Emulator. Wasn't hard I just didn't read the second set of steps cause I thought it was an adb only thing. It effin' worked I'm "pimpin'" now hahaha.

Two frozen Google apps return

Two Google apps -- Play Books and Play Movies & TV -- keeping returning from the land of the frozen. I go back into TB Pro and refreeze, and within a couple of days at most they are back. All the other Google apps I've frozen remain so. Is there something else on the list I also need to freeze?
When I disable them in app manager they come back after a reboot as well. I think its tied to the play store or something that keeps activating them.

I checked on Play and on app manager for auto update option and don't see one. Odd that only these two are persistent despite freezing. I have the feeling there's another item on TB that needs freezing as well to fix this.
I got sick of this and since I do not want nor need them, I just deleted them

Ah, the more brutal approach. If that worked, and you have no regrets or issues as a result, that seems my only course of action as well.
Why you bother to freeze them or delete? It's part of former Google Market. Do.'t see benefit from deleting it. Can you share your thoughts?

Basically, I have four pages of icons under apps, and many of them are for services I have no interest in and will never use. I'm not trying to save space...I think there's 11 GB free, but I find the clutter off-putting.
Not sure I understand the part about Google Market. Play is just the same thing renamed, isn't it? Plus new look and feel.
Anyway, just de-cluttering the UI.
Yup it comes back now.. Use menu - > hide applications or you can stick them all in one folder and hide just that folder

Google play update

Google play finally has the ability to delete uninstalled apps from your downloaded
List. I've been waiting for this for a long time.
Works on nexus 7.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...bility-to-remove-apps-from-the-all-apps-list/
Awesome, still waiting for my update to be pushed out. Been waiting for that feature a long time.
Now all they need to do is add a feature to hold the list in the same place you left it once you've removed an app...
I swear I've got muscles in my fingers like Schwarzenegger's got in his arms from all the swiping I've done today, removing three years worth of junk apps, and having to scroll down 20+ pages every single time... :/

im in Canada if that makes any difference.
will this be released naturally/automatically? Or is the only way to have this by downloading manually?
Sorry for the stupid question.

They should also add a list of purchased apps. You might have bought something that's not necessarily currently installed as it was removed for space reasons.
Just flashed gapps again after updating my ROM. Wonder if I got sent to the back of the queue line lol.
I believe they used to have more tabs. Would like to see a sort option or at least separate by paid/free.

Next Launcher 3D free today only

So I stumbled across an awesome deal today but it only lasts today. This will get you next launcher 3D full version. Only catch is that if you want it on a few devices you have to do this for each device as it wont download as full. So use titanium etc if you want to keep before changing ROMs.
So to get it download the light version. Hit the menu (3dots on far right) go to preferences, select "about full version" then hit activate don't worry if its greyed out just hit it. Next just enter username - nextlauncher3d and code - appoftheday
All credit to slickdeals where I found the offer enjoy

Yep I grabbed this as soon as the appoftheday notification appeared by 3pm UK time it was off and had been replaced by a different app.
It's certainly a fun launcher

Next launcher 3d free today only

OK guys thus is how you get it free go to the market download the trial version.
Then open it
Go to preferences
Then to about full version
Then tap activate (it will be grayed out)
When the option to activate opens
Then type nextlauncher3d in the account field
Then type appoftheday in the code box
Then press activate
Profit
Normally its 16 for the app but free today. I found this on android police and it works

Worked perfectly for me too...question thot, don't know if u know, what about if we uninstall it or maybe someone replaces their phone, will they then have to pay for it that time or does it get linked to our gmail account for the $16 version?
I did a backup with Titanium just in case. I thinking that if you uninstall, you'll lose your activation if you install again later. It's possible it might work again on the same device, but I'm fairly confident switching devices will not carry the activation of premium features forward.
I spend too much damn money on launchers. I bought this for full price, Nova prime, apex and recently action Launcher. Killing me, lol.
