[Q] Camera Capture - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

If you're using a the stock camera, by the way I'm on Sir Balli's AMD6 Gennxt ROM, and I'm on a Class 10 SD card, whenever I try to capture with flash using the stock camera even in the other apps like cymera and camera360 it takes 2-3 seconds to capture without touching the screen first (autofocus I think that what it is called) 2-3 seconds just pushing the capture button, was that normal? This only occurs if I'm capturing with a flash but without a flash It's good just push of a button and voila photo captured.
But when I tap the screen first then the Led will light up for 1-2 seconds I think, then push the capture button it capture fast, just a click and it's done.

Can someone give me a mod to make the volume rocker as a dedicated camera shutter button? Thanks in Advance for those who will respond!

There's two modes in the camera button. When you press it lightly, it'll focus. When you press it all the way to the bottom, it will take the picture.
Like a normal camera Don't be afraid to press harder!

[Q] Camera Button (below volume keys)

New Sony Xperia Ion (LT28at) user here.
Anybody else having problems taking a picture with camera button on the side of the phone? (below the lock and volume buttons)
Mine will flash and then focus using the button. But will NOT take a picture. I tried changing the settings to use only the camera button on the side. It still doesnt work.
Any suggestions?
I had same trouble found out why it's setup to work as so
Half press for focus and full hard press for snap shot same for unlock direct to camera only half press hold to initiate camera and focus and full press and hold too unlock and immediately snap pic try that send thx it it works

I want to let camera button wake up phone and open camera

ARCS's camera button can't wake up phone and open camera.
This always let me feel bad.
Like TX Lt29i, I can press camera button to wake up phone then press it again to take a photo.
It is so convenience to press camera button twice and power button once.
Can some make camera button more useful?
If camera physical button can't do this job, why I need it?
I just open phone and open camera then take a photo without physical button.
Like the movie "hotel transylvania" that guy just press physical button.
When I saw it, I just want to know where I can buy it.
Every time using camera, I complain it that I waste 5sec to open phone and open camera.
If this camera button has its real function, I think it's be more better.
There is no way for make this. Most quick way is: Opening camera from lockscreen

[Q] flashlight allways on in night camera use

Is there any way to make the flashlight stay on all the time when the camera is in use ?
Because it would be better to stay on at a lower power level when i take night pictures in order to focalize properly and when i press the "take picture" button, the flash would go to maximum power. I think.
10x!

Photos with phone off

Just switched to lineage and it's great so far. One feature I am missing is in stock Miui you had the option to set the volume down photo to take photos even when the phone is off. So essentially just hold down the volume button and it starts snapping, no need to turn on, open camera app etc This is great for capturing a moment very quickly, but I don't see this option in lineage. Any ideas how I can re enable it?

I think there's a setting to double press power button to open camera.

Thanks but that's different to the Miui functionality.
In Miui you hust hold the volume button down and it starts shooting, regardless of focus etc. No screen on, no opening of app
I found the functionality is called Quick Snap in Miui. Is it available via xposed or something similar?
