I try fix Phonebook FC from Xperia Z system Dump, for all 2011/2012 xperia line.

well, i replaced the files manually and now my phone can't boot in... first it did, then i rebooted, and now it continuously displays the "Android update is in progress / starting application" window and can't get through it :S might be some other problems as well
if anyone else wants to give it a try, here is the zip update. i have no idea, how to fix permissions from the update script, so do that manually from recovery, please.

currently restoring system, and from recovery, i can't mount sdcard it seems :S after that, i'll give it a go again

the second version worked great. however, i guess, if you have google + installed, it FC. i have a contact, that has several merged accounts and when the google+ info shows up in the last row, the app fc's. anyway, i can live with that, i can even get rid of g+ thanks, nice work!

The phone book apk has infinite view inside the apk
So we dont need the infinite view apk
At past
I pushed to system/app the original phonebook apk
But its fc on adding favorites and fc like u too.

Well, it's not g+ causing the issue. As soon as u scroll down to the bottom of the derailed view, it gives fc. Dunno why

That's o.k
First copy both files to system folder, set permissions for both file.
Copy framework to folder and wait until system boot again, then move another files.

Set permissions for the file before moving to the right place.

I agree with it.. When u select a pic, u crop it.. And next thing in caller id screen its a lot more zoomed pic.. Here's an example..

in your case, the image is just cropped. i mean image of OP is pull down, thus the girl's face is longer

What do you need :
Root access
Recovery ( Or you can install them manually )
Super User mode ( Not important )
Installation :
FOR LP users :
Flash the file using recovery !
- NOTE : - Don't forget to backup your old small apps first maybe you would like to install them again
Clear your cache ( recommended )
FOR KK users :
Extract the file using root explorer and install them manually ( Don't forget to set the permissions for " RW-R--R-- "

I managed to fix the ActiveClipper, there was a typo in the name, but i can't figure out Recorder and Notes. Using ES Explorer, the icon for Recorder is correct, but the Notes icon is still showing the old one.

A : Install Google phone app from Here and make it the default phone app , it has almost the same UI and you can still use Sony phone app
NOTE : Don't forget to sign the app before installing using zipsigner !
( This a temporary solution until I finish my exams )

Try doing it manually without flashing in twrp :
1 - Delete your current stock Dialer and Contacts folders in system / priv-app
2 - Add them back from my ZIP file
3 - Don't forget also to move somc-ext-telephony.jar to framework folder
4 - And reboot...
If still didn't work perfectly so you will need to deodex your rom

Some problems
When incall opening dialpad network is turned off
Contacts has same error
Contacts open from dial not from conyacts app cz gets error
Some screenshot for dial error and when network turn off

Can you also port XZ1 Camera app, because it has so many new features in it.

Sorry to hear that :/ if other XZ users confirmed the port is working fine then u should deodex your rom

NO NEED to have it installed on your device to use this port .. but u can use this tool

I used rom odex, and I also tried on deodex rom but still the same result
I have not used logcat ever: D
