Bugs
You have to go to Settings/Developer options/Root access and place a check mark beside apps and adb. This will be fixed in next version.
Bluetooth will not turn on but the fix is already in TeamHorizon github, I just need to sync and build when I get time.
If you go to Settings/Display/Brightness and select the settings icon on the slider it will FC. Again fix is already in TeamHorizon github.
For some work arounds for for volume level increase and frequent bootloops please read this post.
Read Very Important
OTA
If you want to use the OTA function of this ROM you need to download the gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip package and place it in the root of your internal sdcard. If you wish to use the 4.2.2_Gapps_No_PhotoSphere.zip or any other gapps package you must go to Settings/XenonHD updates. Then press the menu soft key and select Settings/Set GApps Package name and enter 4.2.2_Gapps_No_PhotoSphere.zip or what ever the name of the package you want to use is.
If you want to receive OTA notifications and have the OTA app auto flash the update you need to go to Settings/XenonHD updates. Then press the menu soft key and select Settings and place a check beside "Show Notifications" and Automatically Flash, see attached acreen shot.

The link takes me straight to the t0lteatt folder on media fire. Try going there on your computer if you are on mobile. I do not know why this appears to be a issue as I had posts in my T-Mobile thread about the same issue.
Edit: I was posting the wrong link, my apologies everyone, the link should work now.

I have always had quirks with 4.2.2 based ROMS, little things like less than stellar battery life, GPS issues, camera, dissconnecting, or slightly underwhelming performance.
This ROM has taken care of all of those problems. Excellent work!

It's a keeper....g

Neither Team Inferno, or Cyanogenmod Team, or anyone else that was involved in this project is responsible for you device. Please be nice as this is my first ROM for GT-i9000.
So what is this? This is CM9, compiled and tabletized by the Team.
The stock Android keyboard that comes with the rom after flashing this mod is all distorted. I'd suggest downloading this one which works and looks fine.
Note: This ROM can certainly be used as a Daily Driver, however, everything is small. That we cannot fix because of the smaller screen size that we have. However, this is still fun nonetheless, if you don't mind the small stuff.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Based on Official CM9 for the GT-I9000
Full tablet UI experience
Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
Great support
Working Phone.apk
New Combine bar: Saves a ton of space
New Camera UI
Two column Settings
Zipaligned
Deodexed
Usual CM9 bugs, other than that, you tell me
ROM Name changed
Added in custom wallpaper
Added InfernoBrowser.apk (Thanks mxbrowser)
Added TitaniumBackup.apk
Added ES File Explorer.apk
Other minor changes

Installation
**If you do not have a custom recovery installed, you will need to install one first. I recommend TWRP 2.5.0.0 or higher. To install it you need to install Goo Manager from the play store first. Once installed, open it, press your menu button, an select "install openrecovery script", then simply follow the steps.
Place rom and gapps on sd
Reboot into recovery (Vol+,home & pwr)
Wipe system, cache and dalvik
Install HellFire
Install gapps
Wipe cache and dalvik again
Reboot
boot back into recovery
Fix permissions
Reboot system and enjoy!

Some things you may want to try:
* Make sure TWRP or CWM are up to date BEFORE FLASHING to avoid issues.
* Try re-flashing if you are having an issue no one else is.
* Don't be afraid to do a battery pull if you'r stuck at the Samsung logo or boot-looping.
To get developer options go to settings/about phone/tap Build Number 7 times.
When it says you have unlocked the developer options, you're all set.

 Thread rules
I really hate repeating myself, so search before you post. If you have asked a question I have I already answered, I will ignore it.
Don’t complain about battery life (poor battery life is 99% user error)
Don’t complain about issues with the rom if you didn’t follow the instructions.
If you have a Kernel issue, post them in that kernels thread, not here.
If all else fails, and you’re still having issues try re-downloading the rom!
DO NOT ASK FOR UPDATE ETA’S.. We do our best to release our roms in a timely manner, but we don’t release just or the sake of having a new build out. Each build has to be better than the last, or we don’t release it till it is.
Rudeness/flaming or any kind of disrespect to anyone in this thread will be reported with no warning. Play nice everyone!
If you enjoy this, don’t forget to by x0xhellx0x a cup of coffee by clicking Here
You could also buy me a beer, coffee or some diapers for my kids by clicking Here if you're in a particularly generous mood.

We are not responsible for any broken or bricked devices. Do not flash our rom unless you know what you are doing!
Change Log:
HFJ 2.3 (7/12/13)
*Note: In an effort to keep this thread neat and tidy, I will no longer be posting changelogs for previous builds. You can go to About phone to view the changelogs, or see if the android version or baseband version differ between what you're running. New features will always be listed for the current version.

1. Download the mod of your choice
2. Download a safe recovery or Repack kernel (if you don't already have one) These can be found [URL="http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung%20Galaxy%20S2%20%28Sprint%29%20%28SPH-D710%29/Kernels"][COLOR=#0066cc]here[/COLOR][/URL], make sure to grab a stock kernel in zip format while you're there!
3. Using the Odin method of your choice, flash your custom recovery
4. After your phone boots, boot into recovery by holding power and vol down simultaneously until the recovery screen comes up (EL29 Directboot makes this step unnecessary}
5. Navigate the menu to clear Cache and Dalvik Cache
6. Navigate to the menu to your desired mod and flash

Q How’s battery life?
A I see this question asked repeatedly across all ROMS. Honestly there is no way to give you an answer based on a ROM. There are too many variables in question and results vary from user to user and device to device. Battery life is going to depend on age and condition of your battery, your use habits with your device, installed apps, tweaks, settings, etc...
Q How do I make a nand recovery?
A There is a very informative thread created by Timmetal6669 found here
Q Where can I find the newest JB recoveries?
A Right here be sure to thank Garwynn for all his hard work while you're there
Q How do I...
A Ask your questions and report your issues in this thread. You will receive a response and hopefully get you back up and running this ROM to its fullest

[Q/A&T][Public BETA] BDSROM-GB27 Boondock Saints
This has been a long time in the making. Some of you may remember a while back when I first announced this ROM, (and some of you have never let me live it down *cough, cough, Ryan...) and I had had some issues with some of my testers not being able to flash. I then got busy and went back to school and long story short, I let this sit idle. Well, I'm back and am releasing this as a public beta. More theme than actual development, but it is what it is.
Included in this ROM are:
AIO mod v4.5 Please visit this thread for the 3minit download link also
Menu to Kill mod - Removed for now.
Custom Battery Icon by yours truly
Almost everything is themed through and through
Debloated a bit
360 degree Rotation - Removed for now.
Screen on when unplugged disabled - Removed for now.
Custom boot animation
Custom sounds
More features coming as time allows!
Special thanks to my firends:

Attention: Please do not flood this thread with off topic discussion, questions about battery life, how to flash mods, kernels, etc... I would like to keep this thread pretty much set on the development of this ROM. Have an issue with something I made? Talk about it here. Feature requests? Here's fine.

Didn't sell it. Just not in my possession anymore. It stayed in the family, bro. I'm certain your rom will be put on that trusty device. Don't want to be cryptic, but I see no other way, as it's not my style, but I can assure you my phone will get an excellent second life, and your ROM will be likely be rockin' the house on it..

Welcome to CMB Roms- CM done Better... Dark Themed for his/her Pleasure
Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankenFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.
Features
Based on Android 4.4.2_r1, CM11.0
All current features CM11.0
Customized Dark Holo Theme With Gray ActionBars
Dark Mms
Dark Calendar
Dark Contacts
Ramdisk security tweaks, you can adb as root now!
Bash "tab to complete"
Remount helper, in adb shell
Old
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
New
Code:
remount /system
Better Right??
We plan to add more features, suggestions are welcome (but sometimes ignored )

you will NOT have root out of the box, CM has made it an optional thing, to enable root do the following:
Enable Developer options, on the About Tablet Screen, tap the Build number 8x
Next Go to Developer options
Then under Root Access, choose "Apps and ADB"
will try this out

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why isn't there XXXXXXX feature.
A: Shoot us a Suggestion if you want to see something added. While we are not going to promise to implement, we will always look into it
Q: But CM and all the others have..
A: ROM developers, including CM, build something they want to use. The ROM dev that includes something they won't run implies less than 100% effort to ensure it does work. As a team, we have similar goals and objectives. If XYZ ROM has a feature you want, and we don't (or don't want), feel free to use XYZ ROM, or build your own custom version of Octo-Kat

A Note about the Team OctOs GApps
We in Team OctOs believe in choices. We believe in leaving the fundamental decisions about your phone to you.
In that spirit, Team OctOs gives you options for your GApps experiences. While any ODEX'ed GApps package should work, we offer you the choice of using some of the same GApps packages that we use ourselves, and leave the choice up to you.
You can find our Team OctOs GApps packages here, and break down into the following types:
GPe - Google Experience
Regular GPe GApps
Dalvik-Enhanced GPe GApps
AOSP
AOSP GApps
Dalvik-Enhanced AOSP GApps
The Dalvik-Enhanced packages are NOT ART compatible. If you plan to run ART, don't use those.
We will only update the thread with Stable Releases, whenever possible. This means that the thread may be behind non-milestone releases. If you have an issue with compulsive flashing, or feel the need to live 'life on the edge of brick', we invite you to follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter. Any dailies that can be released, we will release there. Please note, we pull these releases after a day or two, so if the latest link posted there is empty, simply wait until the next one.

ROM is great atm fast, stable, cam is good. Screen shot isn't perfect but works fine (blurry for preview but that's all). I'll get back with other stuff (if there is any). Hope the battery holds better than the other KK ROMs... also I did not use twrp, had no problems at all
flashing as we speak! Will report back tomorrow!
