[Q] which CUSTOM ROMS are compatible with MerrukTechnology Kernel v1 beta????

guys yesterday i flashed my sgy with creed2.5 and then with MerrukTechnology Kernel v1 and was stuck at boot screen but Version 0.7.50 RC 20 booted up but the above result was a failure with hybrid 2.1 ????

try with chocodigitals rom...............i tried it worked for me...

i think that rom had touch screen problems

Works on any ROM. The final version's out. Try the final version. Boot loops are LESS likely.

i tried that on creeds but was stuck at boot screen

Try the 7.50 version and NOT 8.0.

Which version of Chobits Digitalis are you using, and which version of the kernel did you use?

have u tried version 0.7 rc 20 i think it is the most stable version working with custom roms
i think hybrid v3 has latest kerenal support but it still has bugs so it is currently reuploaded .waitng till further developement

Kerenal v0.7rc 20 is working good but not v 1 final (still has some bugss....)
try v0.7 it u can overclock to 900mhz

bro in the thread u give it says "Extract system.zip to root of your sdcard - flash the kernel - wipe - reboot - reboot recovery - install ext4.zip and he we go"
in my red highlight shud i flash it using odin? bcoz i don't even try to flash via odin,hehe..

both ways are good (i used faqbly meathod from the start so had made all bootable kerenals and used them) use the one whose instruction u find easy and best
because i dont want to damage your phone by forcing u to use my way buddy
its just your choice

What firmware you are on as of today ? Before installing Custom ROM's , You should know what is the ROM is based on Example : For Creeds Fusion , Pratyush's ROM is based on DDLC3 (I've just checked it using Secret codes)
Mine Current ROM is DXKK4 (Just like DXKL2) then i installed Creeds' Fusion V 3.2 , So far i dont have any problems with this one except for the signal bars aren't properly shown , Since i've still updated Instagram last May 15 (Since they have their new update).
Try Getting back to Stock ROM and try if it will work for your phone .

Tell us what error you're getting or what happens when you try to download. Can't help if we don't know the problem.

theres no error,i just cant download even if i wait for an hour downloading..

assuming that your internet connection has no prob
then maybe play store is the one to be fixed
try to uninstall playstore
reinstall + wipe app data (preferably via titanium back up)
restart
hope that helps

i encounter that prob.. if you using merruk kernel and plus costum rom playstore faild to download just go back to stock kernel and flash what ever rom u like

Open google play the menu and go to settings and click clear search history...
And also clear the cache of google play...

XXLM8 and XXLM6 are both EU firmware if not mistaken
Anyway you can still try it at least XXLM8 based Black Notes is working for me in Asian region

If a rom is created by a developer here, wouldn't it be a custom rom?

In fact, you can bring back the deleted apps in just a few steps to a custom ROM, as well as you can find its apk

[ROM][2-8] Miui 3.2.8 for XPERIA Ion locked and unlocked bootloader

Hey guys ,Here is the miui rom for Lt28i .This rom is based on official Miui for LT26i . I modified it to work with Ion
it should work on lt 28h and lt28at ,but you maybe have to falsh you phone with lt28i FTF rom at first.by the way ,you will lost LTE,when you use the MIUI
Use it with Stock ICS kernel(you do not need to unlock the bootloader,just root the phone and instal CWM)
i have update the MIUI to 2.10.19. this time i build the rom with 6.1.E.1.20 from lt28h it works on both locked and unlocked bootloader.
1.flash the stock 6.1.E.2.29 or 6.1.E.1.20 (they maybe have the same kernel ) and instal CWM
2. Boot into CWM
3. Backup your current rom
4. Do a factory reset( if you update miui from the old version ,this is not necessary for you)
5. Install the rom
6. Reboot

Once my wife comes home she has the phone at the moment. You kinda make it sound like there is a problem unlocking the bootloader. I searched and couldn't find any real issues with it seems biggest issue right now is with the lt28a. I assume the bootloader in these devices is "safer" to unlock than in the x10 I had before since this device is semi supported to be unlocked.

Hm maybe I'll go for this as well before waiting for a new cm9 nightly... I am one of those lucky ones that were able to unlock the bootloader, but description says for locked. Is there a problem trying it?

Lol.....as long as u got stock kernel with u.....theres no problem to flash this problem

Ok after only owning a lt28h for less than 24 hrs I have rooted the phone unlocked the bootloader and now have installed miui sweet now all I can hope for is few bugs. Thanks for this rom.
EDIT: Had to reinstall recovery I do not know if this is normal or not since this is my first ION rom.

Hope Dooms ramdisk is compatible with out rom! I can not see reason for using custom kernel since our device flying with stock kernel but allso since our phone is quadcore I thinking now about http://www.s21.com/sar.htm and don't trust any overvolting like some kernels have non oficially! I think that changing voltages is bad idea since increasing voltage to some chips maybe will increase S.A.R value which is not good for head or body! So think about that !

Thanks for the heads up, yeah the doom kernel for our z1 compact is stock, doom only adds CWM. I agree our phones are fast enough what would be the point of overclocking, underclocking or messing with voltages as battery life is great as well.

I'm more worried about privacy, I will be happy if some good developers contribute here in Privacy Guard implementation! I will start that probably tommorow and seccond day, allready have 70 percent implemented, rest is hard since libbinder will be a problem (probably I will need to use AOSP libbinder and use some changes from CM11 ) , hope we all done that soon. Progress will be on git soon.

You are right about failed install message in CMW! Zip downloaded from git can not be installed! I must make rom manyaly and give you new link for download, sorry!

That's a Jellybean rom, can I flash this one without any problems or should I first have kitkat installed en get rooted) again...

First step... If you are on mine rom with mine recovery, reboot to recovery, wipe data factory reset, go to mounts and storage, format system, flash our rom. Next step... laynch flash tool, chose latest kitkat ftf, DISABLE SYSTEM partition flashining + DISABLE KERNEL flashing, flash everything other, you are done! You will no back to old roms definitelly! Our is very smooth, clean and battery save!

No bugs, but only 4k video is not working, eerything other is working (background defocus, portrait retouch, timeshift video (no 120fps but its working ok with ~40-~60fps), china photo editor, shortcuts for 4k and timeshift booth in camera drawer + camera widget). Just to inform all, nothing is modified in stock camera so there will be no problems, only patched things is pathed Z2 camera things, so you will have definitelly no problems in cam since I not used copy paste from other ports!

No! Thats previous one! You need 757 ftf! If you have no latest ftf probably you will need to make one by self or wait untl some one upload them.
