Play PC games on your Note 2 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey, just got Kainy on the play store because it was on sale today, and been playing my PC games via that app and it works quite good, just giving you a heads up in case you haven't heard of it (I never did before, thank you appsales).
Before you ask, it streams your pc games to your phone or tablet and allows you to set up onscreen controls. However I'm impressed by the performance, I wasn't expecting the games to be playable (just played Remember me for an hour).

Actually got that myself a month or so ago. Never can get it to work except over wifi, but when it works it's great

Crashes for gw2 and skips ton for rift

Installed it, tried battlefield 3 with, it mostly worked, but I was too lazy to map all the buttons and etc

Dlna app

Hi all, not all roms have the dlna app installed. To search for nearby devices you need it.
Is the app online somewhere?

Very nice, thanks !
Also got the "skifta" app if you want to give that a try.

You should try the Vplayer app.. Its a paid app but works without any problems !!!
iMediaShare is THE best app hands down. You can send photos, music and videos from your phone anyway plus you can play videos from a variety of sources such as YouTube, Engadget, Facebook and many more.
Works perfectly for me EVERY time with my UE55D7000

I got it for free in the samsung appstore, but the download of system files is very slow. Is there any other source where I can get these files?

i was using the buit in streaming function from htc (not sure what its called) ... i was also able to view it with my previous Sony Experia with the built in pop up windows viewer.
Try app called Ustream
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
I use Ustream and it works great. There's a little widget that will take you straight to live streaming with 1 press of the button which is pretty cool.

How to play THD games on samsung galxy note2 N7100?????

I have been looking into various websites regarding this topic but still didn't got any resolved answer. Is it possible to play THD games on this quad core phablet without the only app called chainfire3D? I purchased this phablet just for gaming and game loft isn't launching anything new
Sent from my GT-P3100,GT-N7100,HTC explorer using xda premium
I think it depends, but from the ones I have seen, no. The reason is the THD games required a Tegra3 or Tegra4 processor. The GN2 does not have those, it's has a Exynos 4.
I have a Tegra4 tablet. And honestly, the few games I have played that were both THD and not, were not significantly differently in game play or video. Game play was the same obviously. The graphics, I felt were negligible. Maybe it would have been more noticable on my 55" HDTV instead of 10" screen. And I don't see it being any different on a 5.5" screen.
But some games are not launched for non-tegra devices For. Ex. Horn, demon's score etc etc they run with tegra only devices

What's wrong with using ChainFire3D? It's what I used whenever Tegra was initially released, it worked flawlessly even on my Mytouch 4G
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
I have a Nexus7 and the games run smoother on my Note2 than in my N7 Tegra games are not all they seem to be imo

Have you gotten chainfire 3d to actually work? I tried and it just locked up my phone on boot after i installed the driver.
Chainfire3D doesn't support jellybean atleast for now...... Still finding why not?? Once I myself will get the answer I'll post it for u

How come.... Plz tell me how r u able to run them on GN2 they are not even compatible with my device....... Haven't tried non-market sponsors as yet(don't wanna ruin some1s hard for free)

It has soft bricked my GT-P3100 and GN2 as well on the boot screen.....is it really possible that only an application(so called chainfire3D) can really replace a terga NVIDIA chipset

Not exactly. It just tells the game you are compatible. There is a little more to it but that is all it does for the most part.

Does this means for using chainfire3D I have to degrade my system to ics or lower version instead of jellybean

Good movie and TV app... live and free

Latest movie downloads etc. .. Thanks for any help.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
You can get some from the Play Store, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. Also if you have ROKU, I believe there is an app for that too. Yes those are all paid, but it is a place to start. Also, most networks (at least in the US) have either an app or way to view shows on/from them.
I do hope that you are not asking about torrent sites and how to use them. If you are, then Google is your friend and please do not post such on XDA.
I'm doing Netflix hulu and the occasional red box instead of cable right now, saving a bloody fortune streaming media to my smart tv from my note
