[Q] how to record screen on cm11.

hey everyone ..
just want to know how to use the screen recorder feature of kitkat for cm11?
tried it with cmd got error of "unable to create encoder input surface" !
i learnd that its some cmd/terminal compatibility issue for cyanogenmod ! how to fix it ? since screencast is still not avalibe for cm11!
the test version of screencast is not working !

cm 11 is in initial stage so my brother you simply can not expect screen recorder so fast
with finger crossed just wait :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Hi,
I´m tried without exit the screencapture command in CM11 for Galaxy Ace2 port.
I´m the developer of Ascrecorder and i´m installing kit kat to make more compatible the application with kit kat.
But Ascrecorder is working well with KitKat and i get little bit less performance only in the sdcard acces, don´t recognize my Class 10 sdcard.
This is a problem but not to much if you have a good CPU to encode on fly.

For launcher problem install nova launcher... Default keyboard only will have 4 languages if you want more install any other keyboard from play store:good:

Thank you for the port. Appreciate your efforts.
I was however unable to use it as it doesnt detect vodafone india network, tried replacing the modem, but no go. But overall the ROM has a very smooth feel. Even blink manager worked for me

Kernel also flashed without any error 7, as you mentioned in the start. My device E700F (4G)

2. Torch never gets ON from notification bar.
3. I flashed Super User, then Viper for android to get the sound bridge through V4A but dosent work.
4. 3rd party camera app dosent works.
5. Home button dosent work while phone is lock.
6. I cant test GPS using GPS test app because WIFI is not working. ( So, GPS un tested )
7. When i turn ON the bluetooth it always remain in connecting state i.e. its starts turning ON but never gets ON.
I tried restarting the device and flashed again but same issue persist.
4G is working perfectly, Sim network is working perfectly, no lags and very smooth, navigation buttons are working perfectly OK.

It's fixed in v3

Some bug
I tried v3. Its wonderfull ROM. Almost worked properly. But I got some bugs. Stock camera FC , dark of video record at lowlight & incorrect battery capacity. Only 3000mAh. Can you fix that.

Stock camera work but you need restore titanium backup.

Dark google camera its not bug of firmware. If you restore Camera backup you can record video on stock camera.
(Stock camera SLR work, but after capture camera crashed, but photo made)
Battery capacity fixed in v4. Its not important

The only problem was no voice calls. Fixed it by installing Buildprop app from playstore. In Buildprop, search and type "call" and 2 entries will appear; choose the first one on fluence and edit change from "true" to "false." Save and reboot. Good to go.

Only after install JUI, i can not start Android7 on EUI kernel.

Camera issue
I flashed the stock camera. No video, says audio in use.
And the SLR doesn't work, the beauty mode is not taking any effect.
Tried the GCam, no video either.
Other than these, works great.

@SimbyOS i've a problem with ussd. Can you help me? USSD messages doesnt show completely. How i can fix that?

A3003 rear camera not working.

Hi - Been a while since ive posted on XDA....nice to be back..
As above ive been given the above one plus 3 to fix - was told "the rear camera doesnt work...."
A few things to note.....
1. Phone is totally stock and up to date...it did an update when i powered it up....
2. When you open the camer app it defaults to the front camera - as if the rear camera is not even connected. Tapping on the camera switch to switch to the other camera yeilds nothing - the button is animated but it doesnt do anything as if the camera is not even connected.
3. Pulled the back of and disconnected the camera - the exact same behaviour as above.
4. Thought "just needs a new camera" - bought said new camera - still the same - no change.
Questions: Is this a softare issue or is there something else (motherboard perhaps)
Look forward to hearing from anyone that chips in.

Try backing up everything and downloading an unbrick tool and restore the phone back to factory defaults but go back to the first android that was on the device which as android 6.0

Heh - well, that went well....not....got all the way through and flashed a rom "experience os" - and now ive got a black screen....its definately alive as on power on and off the device manager is re-calibrating....

restored back to a base image....no change....

If one is to flash OOS 9.0.6, in other words stock ROM, there is no need for flashing any firmware before. Stock ROM contains the proper firmware.
