Notes:
All these Optional functions can be accessed from "SphinX" section in Settings.
First, 4 wipe (Factory Reset, wipe Cache, wipe Delvik Cache, wipe Battery stats) and then flash the ROM.
But No wipe is needed after flashing MMS3 patch.
Right after flashing first time a Software Update dialog will appear. DO NOT update the software or you'll have to go through the KDZ flashing and rooting procedure again.
[SU640 Call Waiting Fix]
This is only for LG SU640 users.
After the flash as soon as device boots, turn on the Bluetooth for the first time. Then download “SU640 Call Waiting lib Fix” and flash it via recovery. Do not wipe anything, reboot the phone and you’re good to go. IF you don’t flash it then your current call will disconnect instantly if somebody else calls you.
[Home3 Themes]
Home3 just have a single default theme. Some extra themes are available in Links.
[Camera Shutter Silent Tweak]
Download the .zip file from Links, copy inside SD-Card Root & Flash through Recovery.
Or you can simply extract files, discard the META-INF folder, Copy and Replace CameraApp3.apk inside Root/system/app folder, set the permissions to -rw-r--r-- and you're good to go.
Now no camera sound will work independent of any four sounds you select.
[SphinX Menu Language]
SphinX labelled menu in settings contains options only in Vietnamese even if English language is set as basic language.
Here's a little description I made for English language users.
1) Checked> Show network speed in status bar.
2) Checked> Remove QSlide tab in status bar.
3) Checked> Remove Time from status bar.
4) Checked> Allow opening status bar on lockscreen.
5) Checked> Hide "Floating apps" on "Recent apps" screen.
6) Checked> Kills all apps on long press.
7) Checked> Lock phone on long press.

Yes you said it right!

It is better for you to flash ics engg version kdz from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051590, then root and recovery from the same post. After that flash the zip from this post for v186.

For those who are first time using LG LU-6200 or even first time using an android phone, well let me tell you, you guys won't be disappointed by this device. Now this ROM is stock (OEM) based so most of the functions and UI (User Interface) are designed on LG style which is so far quite simple and usable just like TouchWizUI from Samsung. All the Korean bloat-ware (Carrier based apps) has been removed and a lot of other features ported from LG LTE2. LG Optimus G Pro & LG G2. Even a few basic features are ported from some AOSP (Android Open Source Project i.e., Cyanogenmod) ROMs. It still have a few bugs but it won't disturb your daily experience and devs are working to resolve these issues.
Some Vietnamese devs have worked really hard in making it and so far they have done a great job and let me tell you that you won't find a better stock based ROM for this device. A few things are demonstrated in screenshots (will be uploaded soon).
So if you're really a newbie to it then go to this GUIDE to first Root your device and install custom Recovery. Follow the instructions carefully and by the end you'll know how to install custom ROMs and do some other basic stuff. (Please scroll down to the end of the GUIDE and use the OLD METHOD).
If you have any problem then post your question on this Question & Answer thread. Well most likely what you're going to ask has already been asked so search around a little bit before posting a question or sending a PM to anyone & don't even try to create a thread just for stating the problem or asking a question. It will not be answered.

V4 ROM will be an international ROM so the services and framework for Korean networks will be disabled, albeit this way ROM will be smoother and better optimized. It's a really important to run on the global mode as developers have worked hard on it.

Settings.db & GServices.db has been patched so no more annoying pop-up will appear on sending large messages to huge group of people.
UpdateSPNDisplay has been fixed. Now the international ROM automatically display PLMN instead of SPN i.e., Mobifone will be displayed instead of VMS (Mobifone).
"GPRS not allowed in the area (7)" [kr_telephony_string.xml] fixed.
Number of contacts will be displayed in Contacts, Messages & during call.

It's basically changed a lot with some new functions and replaced some old stuff. Also it packs a new Kernel so 4wipe should be done!!!

WOW these guys doing some massive stuff for LU6200. I am still using SphinX V3 which has been great so far to me.I would like to know yours reviews on this fabulous ROM
I flashed this ROM the other day, and although it's definitely smoother than the stock OS, it is still a bit laggy and prone to hiccups just like the stock OS and I noticed in CPU-Z that the CPU usage is still hovering around 50% even on idle. Not sure if this is normal or not. Can anyone else check the CPU-Z app too?
Oh, and one other sad thing I noticed - Asphalt 8 is not compatible with our phone!

[Edit] Tried on su640 and i get installation aborted. it says something like Error 1 i cant remember. Maybe the dev remove support for su640? the ported one is not yet downloadable since the dev removed the link.

Hmm, maybe I'll just wait for V5 to come out. I no longer have the "Service Unavailable" problem anyway.
These apps and other features that are being ported from the G2 and other phones... they won't slow down performance or eat more battery life will they?

Sphinx v3 was working well in my device when sphinx v4 has just come, I flashed it after 4wips and after that I flash stock kernel now my device just show boot animation i.e. SphinX and system restarts.

Why did you still flash the stock kernel? The Defector kernel is better.
Did you do this before V4.1 came out?
I think battery consumption is really optimal with stock kernel. Anyways I manage to start the device by starting it without sim card inserted and setting the first wizard and then shut it down and reinserted the sim card and turn it on. Now its working well and battery consumption is also very good.
Can you tell me what is better in Defector Kernel? Also tell me if your "manual focus" is working in camera with Defector kernel? Mine is not working but auto focus is working well.
LgDict and Qtranslator is not supported. I have downloaded from the links you given and installed manually and also rebooted the device but its still not working.

Here is black volume control try 2. Back up your rom and flash the zip in CWM. Do not wipe anything but dalvik cache.
Keep in mind that I do not own Xperia S, so I can't check the mode myself. It should work, but if it doesn't, just use JJwrongJJ's ZU framework V4 for XS. You'll just have to live with white panel. And if you don't like it, complain to Oprah...

WIFI update posted.
As we know out device supports wifi dual frequency bands. However, this option is not enabled out of the box. Here is the fix. Just flash it in CWM without data/factory reset. From now on, you will have an option for wifi frequency bands in settings/wifi/advanced. Enjoy and don't forget that Thank You button.

November 5: Honami Camera is here. No other changes.
Camera: Superior Auto doesn't work, photo image stabilization doesn't work, 2mp resolution doesn't work. The rest is working.

Credit to Niabok79 and myself, since our versions are slightly different in that in his when you touch Superior Auto and the camera f/c, you need to do re-initialization described below in steps 1-4 to have it work again. In this rom, when camera f/c, all you need to do is restart the camera by pressing camera button. But again, credit for most work goes to Niabok79 and we have shared our files.
Keep in mind that the original camera is separate and works 100%.
Instructions for initial start:
1. Put camera widgets on your home screen
2. Press the dianosaur button
3. Press the dinosaur button again in the bottom left
4. Choose Manual mode.
Don't touch SA, photo stabilization or 2mp -- otherwise you will get a f/c. If that happens, just exit and restart camera as usual (press camera button)

If anyone else is not able to flash, here is update-binary and updater-script files revised.
Unzip the attachment, which contains 2 files. Unzip the rom, go to META-INF/com/google/android/ and overwrite the 2 files there with the attached ones. Then rezip the rom and flash again.

Here is a screenshot from ION.
Keep in mind that I have WIFI, Sip service and Mailsynch 24/7. Sip takes plenty of battery juice. If you don't use Sip, you should have even better results.
Also note that Android System is at the bottom draining only about 6%. That is because this rom doesn't have scripts that fight the system (meaning, the script brings the app into ram, then system shuts it down and on and on) all the time, which results in stress on CPU and battery waste...

This camera has video rec upto 1080. There is also burst mode, different focusing options and plenty of effects. Most importantly, it takes half a second for the cam to be ready (unlike stock). Unfortunately, screen shot is impossible when the camera is on. Also, unlike stock, this camera stays even if you flash honami camera on top.

Hello Guys, I'm anshubham and this is my first post for our Huawei Honor Holly.
I'm not an expert developer and dont know everything about Android Development. This is just an attempt to help out people who are looking for MIUI ROM for HOLLY.
This is the MIUI 6 (5.4.3) Rom For our Huawei Honor Holly U19/3c Lite.

I have added 50+ build.prop tweaks for better RAM Management and Battery Efficiency.
The ROM is divided into 5 parts so merge them all using 7zip or winrar or whatever you use, after merging you'll get a zip file of 465 MB which you can flash either via CWM or TWRP, its tested on both ( I recommend CWM though)
How to merge the ROM is also given below.
The ROM works on the STOCK Kernel, no need of any custom kernel
Battery Backup is same as the STOCK Rom
You must do a CLEAN INSTALL, follow exact instructions.
How to Flash the ROM :
1. Download the Rom and merge it to get one fashable zip file.
Mod edit: Links removed
2. Boot into recovery and make a full wipe i.e :
format system
format data
format cache
format dalvik cache
format battery stats (cwm only)
3. Flash the ROM and the Fix via CWM or TWRP (do not install Gapps yet). Reboot the phone, first boot may take upto 2-3 minutes.
4. After the first boot, once you set up the device and get to its homescreen, reboot to recovery again and flash this for gaining perfect root access.
Root - Mod edit: Link removed
You can change the Superuser app to your favorite app later using TB or any similar app.
5. Now flash any 4.4 Gapps (lite or full, your choice). I use YourzGappsXS which are now discontinued, they work nice for me. Although any 4.4 Gapps will work.
Lite Gapps Link - Mod edit: Link removed (which i use)
6. Reboot to system and you are ready to rock!
HOW TO MERGE THE ROM: (Install 7Zip)
1. Download all the Parts of the ROM and put them into one folder.
2. Now Right Click on Part 1 only i.e, "Miuiv6_anshubham.7z.001" and select 7Zip then Click on "Extract Here".
3. Do not extract other parts, we only need to extract Part 1 and it will automatically extract the other parts. This is why we need to put all the parts in the same folder.
4. After extraction is finished, you'll get one single ROM file (flashable zip file), now you can delete those 5 parts that you downloaded because they are useless now.
5. Now Flash the ROM which has been extracted. Simple!

NOTES :
Note - Do not Flash all the three files at once (ROM, Perfect Root and Gapps). First flash the ROM then reboot to system and then flash the other two Zip files (perfect root and gapps).
Note - You may get "com.android.systemui has stopped working" message whenever you boot up the ROM, just click OK and it will go away and ignore it, it will not cause any problems anywhere.
Note - It is advisable that you let the ROM settle for around 10 -15 minutes after flashing.
Note - Install busybox after flashing the ROM.
Note - MIUI by default uses the internal storage to save app/media data for many/most apps i.e Camera pictures, screenhots, photos you download from whatsapp, etc, and i cannot change it. If you know how to change it, please do tell me.

First of all i cannot upload it on any other site. I've had enough problems with that.
Use chrome and internet download manager to download the rom.
There is no phishing attempt.
That is the best site for developers to upload their stuffs where i uploaded the rom.
Just try and download and you're good to go.
CLICK ON THE BLUE DOWNLOAD BUTTON not the orange one.
As you are a newbie, go to this thread for how root, and flash recoveries (cwm or twrp).

you need to flash the rom again do not install gapps along with the rom. Install them after first boot.
Please follow the instructions and the notes properly.
I have flashed this ROM 10 Times it only appears when you restart the phone, not after that untill you restart again.

These things never happened to me, i myself have flashed the rom many times. Try to install the stock firmware first and then again flash the rom.

This error is showing bcoz of sim 2. Sim 2 is not working.whenever I put my sim in slot 2 dis error is showing continuously. Also the camera is not working in video recording mode. How these 2 problems can be solved out?

Something really weird is up with this rom. Nearly every app looks different compared to how they looked in other roms. Swiftkey is unusable. A portion of the keyboard is zoomed in and all the other letters cannot be seen. What on earth is going on.

When I flash the rom and gapps together I can't get past the app restoring (Don't know how it's called in english) in setup wizard and when I flash the rom, start the rom and then after booting has finished rebooting in twrp and then flashing gapps I'll get a setup wizard has closed error. Okay I could remove setup wizard via adb or twrp but that's not how should be. I know I'm installing a G 2014 rom on a G 2014 LTE, but all other G 2014 cm and aosp roms, marshmallow as well, are working.
Is there no fix for the density problem that messes up how apps look?

You should activate it through kernel auditor, if you doesn't get that option there still then flash any kernel supporting DT2W.
If you have changed LCD density switch back to default 320 ppi.

Okay I could remove setup wizard via adb or twrp but that's not how should be. I know I'm installing a G 2014 rom on a G 2014 LTE, but all other G 2014 cm and aosp roms, marshmallow as well, are working.

You can skip setup wizard by tapping four corner one by one in clockwise, it will skip the setup wizard.
Didint find in kernal auditor..
and in OP dev says that dont flash other kernal elese......

Are you the official rom maintainer for this device ?
There is no option for double tap 2 wake in the ROM, and also when using kernel auditor there is no option to enable it. Other than that it is really a wonderful rom. Been using it for 2 days...

I didn't change any density settings. It was like this from the moment I flashed the rom

2. Boot into TWRP
3. Format data
4. Install zip
5. Restart your phone!
No additional files need to be sewn, even if you are migrating from the drain.
P.S. Who put the previous versions, a new one can be rolled on top without wipes, and immediately flash the archive of Magisk + Busybox.
If you use facebook, you need to flash the zip listed too because the rom developer blocked facebook for some reason ._.

Hi, tried to install your rom, nothing, TWRP starts to flash, but immediatelly restart into re covery, forcing reboot, newer system finish boot (or I have to wait hours?) thanks for answers.

Shure, formatted data and install rom, after a while, few seconds, stop imstalling and restart automatically into twrp... that's all, after second restart into recovery, I've force restart system, but never started my phone, I had to restore an old twrp backup to restart so on it....

I dont really know whats happening i have this problem too but you can edit updater-script and remove the system/cache wipes and wipe manually

I'm downloading it because it look like a great modded ROM but I'm not sure if I'll install it. I'm trying to find a way to install TWRP without tripping Knox eFuse first.

You cant install twrp without tripping knox fuse, it's 1000000% impossible to do that

Where is Call recorder, and Where is data icon on left?
Do I have to just wipe the data or even the system?

how to remove it?

finally I was able to edit updater-script deleting deleterecursive cache, but nothing has changed, the flash starts and in a few seconds the smartphone will restart in recovery. it also happened that after the flash does not restart in recovery but the system is restarted. I don't know how to solve this problem

Installing this tomorrow, for now i'll keep the Kernel from this ROM as it looks pretty damn good, but will see how Mesa's one works in a future, the ROM road is getting ready

Good to know mate! I just managed to finally root the phone and install your Kernel on the stock ROM to see how it goes until i install this one, by now everything is going smooth, finally getting used with all this stuff since in the J5 rooting was just eyeblinded stuff

also, on a stock ROM (8.0) I have a randomly arising bluetooth media volume glitch, especially with Jabra Stealth headset. It is veeery annoying
is it fixed here?
