One more bug found. While on internet call, tapping on "loudspeaker" button causes phone app to close without any message, and call ends.

Great, download and flashing. Have this Build HALO?

Ok. Open Dialer. Then Menu button -> "call settings". Scroll down to internet call settings. In "Accounts" section you need to create an account (you can use any sip provider you know). Then in "Use internet calling" set "ask for every call" and try to call somewhere using phone app. before call you will be asked how to call (phone call or internet call). When the other side answer, tap "load speaker" button. And the call will end.
Thanks for attention . SlimBean is on of my favourite roms.

Sorry, do you know if battery life is good?
I have been using another port of slim bean, and the battery was HORRIBLE to a point that I can't stand it. Hope this does not have the battery drain issues?

If only it was 3.. there's 4 or 5 (5 if we include an old JellyBam thread). Stop it.
Also the ROM isn't stable for daily use, wifi still needs frequent rebootin' for it to be workin'.

WRONG. the second one is official since its those patches that is used for wifi as of 6.4.0, its not unofficial until i release my abrevation of 6.4.0 wich has everything working as soon as i get the ril to hook with pgps and socket tagging. please do not hijack other ppls patches as your own and do not make yourself a team of JellyBam. at least i write my own code for the patches and not ctrl+c ctrl+v. why is this third thread neccesary at all?
Keep up the good work.

I must say that I don't understand this argument about all these versions of the "same" ROM.
Why not working together around the same project?
Hope you all will be able to do that.
Keep the good work and thanks again for all efforts.

Sorry but i couldn't find a way to disable software keys at the bottom. Can anyone help me?
Edit: Nevermind, found it
We have to change nav. bar size in Paranoid interface settings.

ofc i could if it wasnt for him stealing my work and then "ME I made the thread and patches" the patches lead back to the CRC and MD5 of the files i made and those are in use in 6.4.0 now, if he hadnt stolen my patches id been fine with it, but im sending my patches continuosly to iGio90 and i dont want to be affiliated with this individual as he has stolen my work that i made for the community so they could enjoy a good rom, not to be stolen and discredited from, this guy has already been banned once also, and he doesnt explain much of anything, i highly doubt that he has a single idea of what he is doing, have a great one
Oh,
I see......
Then, if what you say is true, He will be "behind you" all the time.
Think all xda's members won't be dupe for a long time.
Keep the good work, this ROM gonna be perfect after some fixings...
See you
Franky
For now. most irritating bug is :
Home frequently get kill if you navigate to other app then press home button, need to reload (yup, i already tick on aokp setting to keep memory in launcher and prevent system from killing it)
Lux brightness control ' link ' repeatedly reload, make screen brighter and dark every second - this sometime happen if you set priority too low via in app setting.
Android OS eat battery like a boss, 3 hours.. yay! :silly:
Well about the launcher it was happening to me but with nova launcher the problem gone

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributorsBelieve it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

This rom is running very quickly for me and I'm loving it... Only issue I have is very low resolution on MMS messages. Any fixes other then using a different MMS program?

Interesting. There were some issues with data, but they had been fixed. I'm not sure why you had to toggle Airplane mode though. Thanks for the info.

<project name="OmniHonami/android_device_sony_qcom-common" path="device/sony/qcom-common" remote="github" revision="android-4.4" />

Does this ROM come with the multiwindow feature as of now? And does this come with a recovery? If so CWM or TWRP or both?

The multi-window feature hasn't been officially merged in the Kit-Kat version of OmniRom, however, you can try to flash this patch in order to enable it.
Please report whether the patch worked for you or not if you do decide to give it a shot.
I will try to cherry-pick the multiwindow feature in the next build, see how that goes.
The included kernel comes with a touch-enabled version of CWM.

So far, I can report that when rebooting there are random boot loops and sometimes it boots, and sometimes it doesn't. Also TWRP recovery does not work. I would also like to add that volume doesn't work as well, I am unable to hear anything.

I have just noticed the audio issue as well, this should be easy to fix for next build.
About the recovery, no idea why TWRP got built instead of CWM, this will be fixed in today's build as well.
I've noticed a new build. Any changelog?

Not yet, this would require either the builds to be uploaded on Omni's official download repositories or that I upload them on a private server and modify the app to check and download from it.
I haven't really had time to look into that yet, but it'll be implemented, eventually.
Sweet i just downloaded your last build,, i shall install it tomorrow,. I dont doubt it will be good.. Cant wait to see how omniswitch is on the z1
What is the differences between this and CM11?
Any special features or something? Please show them

You can learn more about the features included in OmniRom at the following link : https://omnirom.org/features/
Amongst the famous ones are:
OmniSwitch: an innovative app-switcher
Incoming call: a non-obtrusive way to notify you when a call is incoming
Multi-Window: speaks for itself, see my next post
Active Display: à la Moto X
A much improved DSP Manager with both a revamped UI and additional effects
Screen recording & casting built-in
An OTA system using delta/diff to download almost only the parts that changed instead of having to download a ~250mb rom every day (not yet implemented on the Z1)
And a lot more
A few words about Multi-Window
As mentioned in the changelog, multiwindow is experimental and work-in-progress (the patch is written by my fellow countryman Guillaume Lesniak a.k.a XpLoDWilD, all credit goes to him).
You can try-out multi-window by opening at least 2 apps then long-pressing one in the recent-apps panel and selecting 'Put aside' :
Here are a few things to look-out for when testing it:
Selecting 'Put aside' when only one app is running in the background will cause a soft-reboot
Sometimes changing one of the 2 active apps will cause a soft-reboot
The bottom app sometimes isn't properly rendered until you touch or scroll it
Other than that, it's a pretty cool multitasking experience, I will cherry-pick the new versions of the patchset as they are committed.
Cool, more roms for our Z1's. Does this rom have Tap2Wake? I am on slimrom atm, and that is one features I would gladly switch to get as I find the Z1 power button really awkward to use as a lefty.

It does not, sorry.
Just a heads-up, this feature is usually implemented on the kernel side, so if it gets ported to the Z1 you should be able to use it with the rom of your choice.

Absolutely LOVE this ROM! Fast, smooth and perfect for daily use. Only option i really miss (unless i missed it somewhere) is to allow custom widgets on lockscreen. I prefer using LockClock over regular clock on lockscreen. Having the weather/clock on lockscreen would be a definite plus. Other than that, this ROM ROCKS!!! Keep up the AWESOME job!!!

Yes I know it has deathly I'm building it as well, I'm asking if you added the needed patches to enable WiFi if you flash a different kernel. My build has custom kernel support and Seans open commit changes from this morning, I'm also working on adding the galaxy s3 settings to the build. Just working out some bugs still. Everything is working except s3 settings in my build. So are you just building this from source or did you add the commit changes as well? Cause if you did then i can quit working on this and move on to another project. What's your guys hangouts info we can chat about it if y'all want.
where can I find deadman's kernal? im loving this new rom so far :good:

Project D.I.S.C.O. is a new Android 5.1 based ROM with a lot of features. It's developed by TeamDISCO. It has some "original" features too. We (TeamDISCO) are building it for some Nexus devices and also some non-Nexus devices (We're still working on it). Project D.I.S.C.O. is based on pure AOSP (for Nexus devices), we picked some cool features from other ROMs and we wrote some features from scratch to be original. Note that we're not responsible for anything.
