Good to see you here Teshxx. I'm hoping you'll keep us up to date with the Firmware's like you've done so nicely in the past :good:

About time! I think Tmo is the last carrier to get it.

I love your work on my note 2 so glad you are here now tesh ! BTW quick question Does the Kernel have anything to do with the screen? Like colors, brightness, graphics ect.

gawd.. their servers are still SO slow. i'll be uploading this to my mediafire once its downloaded. I'll post a mirror here so all the dev types can get it quicker.

Yes it does, but most kernel developers don't mess with that.

Guys it does really works. you dont have to be scare. I flash this on my t999 and was happy that it did not brick. I have also flashed other roms from the att thread and they flash good. But we need more beta testers I seen that not all the t999 are the same. Remember on galaxy mod how it worked for some and not others

I don't think ppl are scared per say... There is just an abundance of 4.1.1 tw ROMs available already with the same features plus more. That's my guess on the slow response. I'm sure the ROM works great tho

Ya its no mystery that att ROMs are flashable for our phone. Like galaxy s3 said, we have an abundance of them already. I only use touchjizz when I absolutely need WiFi calling at a couple of my job sites.

I remember reading about the new features to be brought by 4.3 so my thought was "Here's a version I can safely skip and not even notice".
Some really useless features I would never use.
Just my 2 cents.
It was only a matter of time before someone asked this question.
It will happen eventually.

Most of the new improvements will be under-the-hood... Some didn't pay attention to I/O.
I will not try the stock Android 4.3 . . .
I think I flash the Cyanogenmod

I guess you don't like bug fixes. There are plenty to fix in 4.2...

Well, you could port it, but you would for sure need the 4.3 kernel sources at the least, and none of the under the hood changes would be present

Be patient... Just arrived te 4.3 jelly bean i try and flash the new cyanogenmod! Are you tried it?

[Theme][4.1.2][I9300] Red Envy [JKAY]

I love red themes. And was envious of different bits of other people's themes.
So anyway, having tried 4.3, I still prefer 4.1.2 for my JKay mods. So I made a zip of the bits I wanted.
So here's a flashable zip of what I'm using as per the screenshots.
NOTE: I am running a stock rom EMH1, I'm not even rooted (as Sky Go/Barclays Bank apps won't work otherwise.)
Download link
If I mucked anything up just shout & thanks to various people, some of whom I can't even remember now...
The icons are not part of the zip - they are a theme I use with nova launcher...
Looking good
looking nice my friend you love red

I've flashed this on latest 4.1.2 neatrom and looks very nice. Two things...one the keyboard is different to the one in you're ss. I would like to have that style.
And two...what's the chance this this but in aokp blue please.? . Would look really nice. Thank for you're work and time. Good job and there are still a few that don't want to change to laggy 4.3 till its sorted.

When should we expect 5.0 ROMs ?

I've been going around in circles hoping for a 5.0 upgrade. I usually use Slimkat/SlimRoms. Any ideas when should we expect 5.0 ROMs ?
Unknown...

I ordered an Nvidia tablet, with 4.4 rom, and it's advertised as "Lollipop Ready", so I'm guessing the updating path won't be anything beyond the usual.
Still impatiently waiting
Hopefully we see some lollipop roms in the near future. The international version has one out now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2/orig-development/rom-namelessrom-2-0-t2943424

Yeah hopefully soon it will be out. Also want a nice working version... Everything seems too bright on Lollipop tho.
You should never expect. If you can't be patient and be thankful for what we have now...... learn to build roms. Then you can expect to get them when you finish them.

hello all,
im wondering if anyone would be interested in a custom kernel for the Samsung Galaxy Light T399 as i woud be willing to make one but would require someone to test it as i do not have device
YES!!!!!! I just saw your post on AndroidForums about it, and I really would like one. And also, on the AndroidForums post you said you could make a custom rom, can you please update this one to the latest firmware? http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-lightwave-v1-t2825253
Yes custom kernel and rom would be doable tho as i said i would need someone able to test builds as i do not have the galaxy light (and seeig as it seems to be a us only device i doubt ill get it)

Only got the grouper few days ago(for a bargain price as spares or repairs as it would not boot i might add) so havent messed too much with it, im running pheonixos currently as its quite cool to use.
Planning on overclock as just a start on the light but im going to look in next couple days at weather i can merge the galaxy light kernel stuff into my preexisting sources for s5mini since they are the same cpu

There's different software. The T399 is a T-Mobile phone with Jellybean, the T399N is a MetroPCS phone with KitKat.

Yeah, I think so.
thats great, on the positive side it looks like samsungs kernel devs have at least some common sense, my sources for the s5mini already include nearly everything to build for both variants of the light so expect kernel to test soon
