I agree, but when there are zero comments I was a bit concerned.
Do I flash this from cwm recovery? I thought recoveries had to be flashed via odin on S devices, but the download is a zip file.

Yeah just flash in Recovery like any other normal zip. Then hit Reboot To Recovery and there ya go.
Profit.

Thanks alot for this recovery. I have never used CWM in my life, but this mod is so awesome, I have replaced TWRP with it. Good job!
I have a noob question though. I noticed on Phil3759's main thread that he can add a phone to be supported by him if you supply a recovery and boot img, and if the source builds. I was wondering if we could get this port officially built by him. Only reason is so that you don't have to keep messing with this every time he updates the recovery (I can see this is a few revisions behind his), and that we could get updates for this recovery whenever Phil3759 releases a new version. I noticed on his thread that he credits you for the unofficial port, but wanted to know if it could be official...
Let me know your thoughts.

I love Rogue CWM. Wasn't sure at first but its allot better after a few times using it.

OK well maybe I should have said in my opinion, but i say that because twrp 2.0 is all touch screen and theme able. So themers should be able to make twrp how they want it look. it should be really cool when it comes out. Just google it and you will see

Not sure if many people were aware or not but Codename put out a ROM for our Sprint version. It's up on GOO and also if you just google Codename Android, his site will come up. Not sure why he didn't open a thread on here.
I ran his Roms on the Nexus and it was awesome, lots of customizations. It's more like AOKP as far as options as opposed to CM.
Edit: DO NOT FLASH YET, ISSUES BEING WORKED OUT.

Flashed ktoonsez kernel and it worked and gapps , only thing not working is 3g so far that I can tell.
never mind messed with the data settings and did a reboot and 3g is now working

i flashed todays nightly and everything so far works for me.
CNA was my favorite rom on the et4g
im glad to see it on the gs3

This is the pre-alpha thread of OmniROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (l900). More information can be found here.
This build is very bare bones at the moment. Don't let flashing this now turn you down from trying it again in the future, a lot of changes are coming soon. I would still consider this much more of a tester than a daily driver unless bare bones is your style. The rom is very smooth and fast though probably for that very same reason.

Wipe all if coming from another rom
Flash OmniROM
Flash GApps
Reboot
This rom does not come with root by default. Flash SuperSU in recovery if you want root!
Flash at your own risk! No one else is responsible if your device bursts into flames
To try out multiwindow, go to recents and long press an app. Click add to split view and repeat to add another app. Keep in mind its still buggy at the moment

You can always use the xposted framework to add that back.
And the rom is cool right now but pretty lacking in settings.

I like this rom, ran it for a couple of days. the only bug I noticed was that wifi tether didn't work.

How do you flash an AT&T rom on a sprint phone? I'm assuming there are differences between the same rom on different devices
Just found this ROM and I'm going to try it out but I wanted to ask if it's still being develop on.
What it do Slick Rick going try this I've seen other omni roms well into development not asking for an update just curious of the progression of the rom. So far so good looking forward to more to come. :thumbup:

It's strictly the stock rom with root right now.
Call me a noob, but what's safestrap? I'm guessing a way to root the Note 3 without triggering the flash counter?
I'm guessing also that if you're rooted already (which I assume a lot of people are already), you can flash this couldn't you?
Last but not least, so awesome to have Beans here, I was on Note 2 and his was the best rom on it and now he's on Note 3, couldn't be happier!
Safe strap basically allows youto have more then one operating system on your phone. It boots before the phone and will allow you to switch between roms and sometimes kernels.

Hi. Thought I'd share this link I found on G+ with you guys. It's an Unofficial build of CM11(KitKat) for T Mobile Galaxy Note 2. I own the Att I317 but I'm going to give this a try later. I believe this should work on our device also.
You should flash this with ClockworkMod recovery 6.0.4.3,
4.4 gapps. You may need to flash Superuser for root permission.

I just flashed this with Clockwork mod 6.0.4.3 with a set of my own gapps. So far everything seems to be working. Video, sound, WiFi, cell service, camera, recognizes external sd, Att APN was already set. Smooth so far. In about phone it shows my device as a T-Mo galaxy note 2 sgh-t889.

For an unofficial build, this is surprisingly good. The camera auto focus/auto flash has the same issue as 10.2 but is do-able by tap-to-focusing every time you want to take a picture. It is very smooth and has most of the CM features. On the lookout for bugs now and performance now...
Art doesn't seem to work for me. Had to wipe and reinstall everything. Keeping it on dalvik for now.

Lol. I actually shaved it a little to test the 4.4 roms. I added some more libs and files. And I took out some apps. I haven't even added the magic touch to it yet that makes Spec-Gapps what it is.

the sensor dont work when you on the phone the screen dont turn off so your face be touching all the buttons
I've heard others having proximity sensor issues on other 4.4 roms. Must be a bug. I haven't noticed.
