What colour is your Nexus?

This might sound odd, but im just wondering what colour Nexus everyone has?
My first one was Charcoal Grey and now this one is Titanium Silver. Bit gutted as I liked my grey one better

Mine is dark grey. The box says charcoal grey to be precise

My box says titanium silver as well. I thought they were all the same color?

Mine is a gray, not black. I would've wanted it to be black, to be honest... but still, it's looking good anyway.

will post a pic of my Charcoal grey model tomorrow. To be honest, Does it matter? :L It's still a great looking phone regardless of whether it's silver or charcoal.

I wanna see a picture of someone's phone that has charcoal black now. That's what I meant.

I looks like the silver model has a darker color than say, the htc legend aluminium finish(or the macbook pro).
I have a presumpcion that a silver colored plastic phone feels cheeper than black. i've seen on earlier nokia phones the silver paint would peel off after a while.

Sprint now selling TITANIUM Epic 4G Touch

I showed up for work at the Sprint store I work at and lo and behold I see that we are carrying a new color of the Galaxy SII Epic 4G Touch... It's not really like the brushed metal titanium like the S3, it's more like a speckled gray finish. Not sure if I like it....

Just the casing..... It looks like the housing would chip really easily. I wonder how the black casing would look with the gray screen though..... I might have to do some Frankensteining with my phone when we get the parts lol

I also heard that it has NFC.
I like the screen, and the battery door, but the shiny body itself isn't really my style, might look good with the grey center piece from the white sii though.

E4GT when announced also said NFC which is untrue. Most likely they copy and paste from earlier GS2 documents which did have NFC in the case of Intl variant.

So I guess it is the exact same as the black and white versions of the E4GT. So does that mean with the launch of a new variant, Samsung will extend the lifespan of our devices?

My WHITE Sprint Galaxy Nexus :D

Yes, this is my white galaxy nexus. It is not painted or using a skin, it is the GSM white housing installed on a Sprint Nexus. After seeing the white version of the galaxy nexus, I just knew I needed one. Now this one is a bit of a hack job as I was just learning what would be necessary, and it took some pretty heavy modification, but as soon as I get a little more time and spare change I will be buying one more housing to do a cleaner job. Until I start the cleaner modification, I will be perfecting the fit on this one so I can have the best end result possible. As of this time I will not be doing a how-to as much of a hack job as it is, but when doing the cleaner conversion I plan to take some pictures to help some of you other daring DIY'ers out there. This post is just to share/show off my white galaxy nexus haha, and to show that it can be done! And now, a few pictures of my baby:

You should get the Fantom glass screen protector in white to make the front white too. Personally I can't stand white phones with black faces. But that's just me.

Back cover housing, ebay

This is an oem, it cost me 18 $. It has a red sticker inside, I took my phone apart mine was gray.
Why does this look like cheap quality? Was it a Samsung that didn't like the quality and threw it away?

If you disassemble your phone your warranty will be void regardless of where you got your housing. If you want to keep your warranty only get the housing replaced by the Samsung authorized center and they will only use their own housing, they won't accept the one you bought. Also, it's fairly easy to tell the difference between the original and the one on ebay.

I removed my housing from my phone. How would they tell? I dont see any warranty void indicators like htc.

Usually some wear on the screws would give away, probably some sort of product code on the housing that won't be present on the replacement. Put both the original and eBay housing side by side and try to compare the tiny details. I'm sure you'll see the differences, and if you can so will they...it's not that hard.

On the majority of devices, they add a 'moisture sticker' for warranty purposes. This white sticker turns red or pink if it has been submerged in water. Warranties usually do not cover water damage.
Likely this person doused their phone and is selling their old cover.

I think AT&T got it on black or dark gray... they got more color selection than T-Mo we just just got white and blue?? At least those are the only 2 options give to me when I bought mine..

The 2 colors available to T-Mobile are Black Mist and White Frost. There's also a Blue Arctic color, which I think is exclusive to Best Buy.
Edit: There's also Electric Blue and Aurora Red. Neither are available on T-Mobile.

Blue was exclusive to AT&T. Purple was exclusove to Sprint. And brown, for some odd reason, was the exclusive to Verizon.
AT&T might have gotten a red one too.
All 4 carriers got black and white from day 1.
You can get the colored battery doors from any other color and put them on yours. My black t mobile S4 has a Sprint purple back.

Since forever. The Black Mist version, just kind of looks like a blue when it is next to another black object. I used to think it was blue also until I read the box for the Black Mist version.

Now apparently there are a few more colors that have come out.

And one of them is DEEP BLACK. Which is somehow different than Black Mist. I dunno...I always thought black was black. I mena I'm looking at my Black Mist phone right now and it looks plenty black to me. But what do I know?
