Hey everyone, i just bought my 8S but phone is only charging till %98 and i have intense battery drain phone is heating up too. how can i get rid of it? I did try factory reset but no go.

So I've had a problem with battery drain lately that has only seemed to get worse. After leaving my phone on the charger overnight, I unplug it to immediately get battery drain of around 25% on average. The phone will get hot and keep quickly draining unless I turn it off for an extended amount of time. Today was the weirdest problem yet. I unplugged it from a full charge only to have the phone instantly go to 1% battery and die. I'm running paranoid android as my rom. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

About a year now, got the phone last October.
My phone is getting off at 50% charge, i tried battery callibrator and no use, battery is new one. Any other fix for this issue?
Hi , i got a note 4 from rogers for now 2 years. My old battery was dead so i bought a new battery. I got a lexmar 3400 mah from best buy.
But i still got battery drain. Nothing was done today on the cell phone except. Sms, some internet search and 1 hour of songza music.
And im about 28% left for 3.5 hour of use...
Is the battery truly 3400mah? The only 3rd party battery that's trustworthy is anker so I'd start by seeing if the battery is legit before going further
Wifi is possessed, battery drain
My wifi is going crazy ! When I try to turn off the wifi it keeps turning it back off and on again. It can stay on with no problem. Because it keeps turn on and off its killing my battery life, anyone else experience this or better yet found a fix ?

My issue is a little bit weird. My AT&T Note 4 has a battery problem relating to charging. This issue is consistent. One day I charge my phone it charges to 100% without any issue. The battery life is good for 2-3 years old battery 2-4 hours on screen time depending on usage. But the very next day when I try to charge my phone the battery percentage won't go beyond 85%-89% and I have to do a battery pull and it immediately shows 99%-100% and I can disconnect my charger.
I am not complaining about or worried about battery life I know it sucks but I want to know a solution so I don't have to battery pull every other day just to reach 100%.

Not a weird issue, your battery is going bad. Get a quality replacement.
So this is happening to me too.. I just got this phone over the holidays from ebay. Used/mint condition, no OLED burn or anything.. perfect condtion..except for the battery.. won't charge past 82% I've ordered a new one. But still looking to make sure since I've read a lot on the Internet about LL and MM causing battery drain problems...so..
So these battery stats indicative of an old battery?
When running a battery drainer or anything else, the HTC 10 gets really hot and the battery drains and the phone dies at around 50% (but I don't get the boot loops like some people have).
I am on Oreo....I have tried battery calibration without root and also I have accubattery (which says my battery has 50% capacity). I wiped the phone cache as well, nothing seems to help.
Is it the battery, or is my motherboard bad or would downgrading help?
