I upgraded my Titanium Backup to the Pro version paying the $5.95 (actually $1.00 + CHF 5.25). it was instantly upgraded, and I got the email (+smses from my bank). Yesterday on its own it has reverted back to the donate version.Also,if I remember correctly there was a second Titanium app which is also now missing. I am on Android 2.3.3 on my Dinc 2.
I download the pro version from 4share.apk
Finally fixed. Titanium staff (Joel) were most helpful. Finally, removed and reinstalled Titanium Backup and the problem was fixed. Reinstalling the Key file did not help. Apparently, if you are using the same Google account then i. you can reload the key and ii.you can run it on multiple phones. They key is personal to you.

Dude, you may wanna ditch this. This is illegal file sharing and is not tolerated here. This would be considered promoting warez which will get you an infraction.
For people having trouble, I used PayPal from the site, and put the key text file on the root of my sd card and it reads as the pro version

Yeah sorry. It's taking a paid app and making it free, which is almost like stealing. It's pirating. Not getting onto you, just letting you know anywhere you download something "pro" for free, you shouldn't share it.

I seldom use those forbidden sites to acquire fully functioning software products only to make sure that it WILL perform properly on my aged PC.
If it works and I like it, I actually purchase the software and re install the proper version on my PC.
If it does not work or I don't care for it I remove it.
Piracy for the sole purpose of trying to get something for free that is offered for usually a modest amount, is wrong plain and simple.
It IS nice of you to offer help to people that are stuck trying to make use of the software that they DID pay for.
Usually there is a Read Me file within the file or on the site stating that if you like the product, then you should pay for it.
And now that you know, If you like the product and it works as it should, you should either pay for it or uninstall it.
The site you quoted probably doesn't pay ANY add revenue to the developer of the product.
I know it was a hassle to get my purchase validated also, but I kept at it and feel good about having done this.

The problem was finally fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the Titanium Backup App itself.

There is a known issue that most cloud share sites like dropbox and box.net loose sharing due to bandwidth allocation issues.. with that said, I have a offer for you if you need to share development files here.

Its not about making money, I am doing it out of the kindness of my heart and funding it myself. I just said that I don't have the funds currently.
I won't turn away donations, the site itself was just a way to share my tech interests with my local community freely offering tips and tricks for their computer needs as I am the only technology consultant around for 100 miles.
In reality, I just don't have time, I was going to post my local services on a page but if that makes it bad for helping people here then I won't

I kinda jumped before looking, id be happy to assist but my host caps uploads at 8mb if you can keep it in that range I'd be happy to, I'm looking for another host and might have found one, keep in touch with me and I will do my best. As far as that goes, there are many hosts out there, I'll compile a list if you want, I am a tech consultant and solutions provider so its in my nature to do this just gimme a few or let me figure out my upload limitations I will get this all sorted and once done we will be in business

Okay guys I'm sorry it took me so long, I found a new host but can't take my domain with just yet to it.. not going into details why, but if you want me to host your projects, I will be happy to do so.
I am also surprised that none of you share bigger files like roms and such on bittorrent.. would seem more ideal to share this way and its more safe as it uses hashes to piece the app back together.. anyways that's not the point.
I have a list of numerous different share sites and cloud technologies on this page here.
Most note worthy of the cloud servers would have to be ADrive.com giving away 50gb storage for free for banners, and as long as you set your hosts files just right, you don't even see a single banner or ad, I haven't yet anyways.
I just hope that this helps everyone who working on these projects and I will do my best to keep these site lists current for you and add more as we go along.
I am just sorry it took me so long to get setup, my wife about to give birth any day now, my 4th and its been mad hectic with work and steess, but the site is down right now on the new host and will be for a couple weeks.

Honestly, I'm very glad that people don't host their roms via bittorrent, as it's a nightmare for anyone who's looking to snag something for an older phone. I often find myself in possession of old android hardware, and I repurpose them for VoIP phones or other misc. With older hardware, it's often unbearably slow on the official rom, and the best solution is to track down something custom.
I just spent like 4 hours tracking down a rom for the Huawei Ascend M860, over half of the links were dead, and an entire site where a large portion of the development took place had folded because of the age of the device. With torrents, it's easy for something less popular like an older device to lose what few seeds it had, while a reliable mirror site will at least be up for reasonable amount of time.
I am stuck at cup 12 of asphalt 7 version 1.0.1 with no money on bank. I do not know if I have bought the most expensive vehicle or accessories to win every race but currently I can not proceed any further. :crying: I have tried playing some quick races to gather some quick cash but that is not enough to buy more and more from shop. I have searched xda forum if any cheat available for non-rooted galaxy s3 but my bad luck I haven't found anything yet. I have not rooted my device as it seems very complicated to me.
I am not looking for saved game data where every race has been completed to unlocked all, I just want to add up extra cash quickly. If anyone can help me with a cheat for extra money. Thanks

I'm afraid it's somewhat illegal to cheat in such games as you'd be 'depriving the developer of potential earnings'. Nonetheless, there's a well approved thread in the general apps section on xda talking about an app called gameguardian which you could try. But that requires root.

I cannot play any arcade game without savestate function, because I only have each time 10~20min for games and i cannot finish any within such a short time.
I am aware that Tiger Arcade had some issues with save/load, but I am not sure if it works now in 3.1.2?

But if i were you, i m not sure i would go with his paid app as some customers are complaining about the dev not giving them the full app after giving him money. Would rather go with afba by cpasjuste, or wait for libretro retroarch android release

I have also found that the new MAME4Droid Reload can also save and load states
how about afba? does it also do this?
but anyway, I have found a emulator for mame which can save states

Just email to developer when you meet load state issue after purchase. I met the same load problem (no full version), but it was solved quickly when I send email to ask the developer. Tiger king told me that there is some problem between paypal and his server, so some users met similar issue randomly since paypal does not notice his server for the payment.
I'll stick with aFBA cuz Tiger 4 have massive adwares, and some of them labeled as risky.

I wanted full function(save/load, dip switches..) like you, so I purchased via paypal. But it didn't work (It didn't sync my purchase data). So I mailed to tiger king about this problem, but there was NO REPLY even I mailed him 3 TIMES after with my paypal screenshot! You know, this is undeniable fraud. I want you all guys never purchase tiger arcade like me.

Are there any academic studies/publications in this regard?
Anyways, I just got the $50 Google Play credit courtesy of Samsung. I refuse to pay $18 for Smurf 2 movie. I would rather find a way to forward the credit to hard working developers on XDA. Any suggestion on how to go about doing so?

The only way to use the credit is for something in the Google Play Store and Devices are not included in that list.
I don't know of any ROM's which are distributed via Google Play though.
There are developers who have created tools that are though, Developers of SuperSU, SuperUser, Titainium Backup to name a few. Most of them root required.
Oh, if you have not used the redeem code, you could forward that on to someone else and they could then use it. But after it is redeemed, I don't think you can transfer any of it.
