I found a nice mod for us in the S2 forums, and ported it to our S4.
7 or 6 lockscreen app shortcuts in your lockscreen, instead of max 5..
When you select 6 lockscreen app shortcuts in settings(See screenshot 1), your lockscreen will look like in screenshot 2:

I like it, maybe some of you guys also!
This mod needs some changes(xml and smali changes) to both SecSettings.apk and Framework-res.
Some people use a theme. When you use a theme, most of the times framework-res is themed.
This means that when you flash this mod, and you use a theme, you will lose the theme..
Also when you use 3 minit framework, you should not flash this zip, because 3minit uses its own secsettings.apk, which would be overwritten.
I made a special one for 3 minit, I myselve am a happy user, but will wait with posting that one, because Gary might just not like that...
All credits for this mod go to my old friend from the S2, Mirko ddd, who made this possible for the S2.

I just ported it to the S4.
It's an easy mod by the way, not a big deal.
But I did put quite some effort in it to finetune it for our device.
In this post I modded framework-res + secsettings.apk from WanamRom MF4.
But it will work on MF2/MF4/MF8 like the title says.

How to restore?
Easy way is to flash your Rom again, no wipe.

PS: In the screenshots you see transparent background. That is not included in the above flashzip, I just provide you with stock Wanam files with the mod in it.

Ok my man, listen. I downloaded the theme you linked me to, and had a look. It contained a secsettings.apk, but not a framework-res, so your current framework is most liked not themed at the moment.
I modded the secsettings.apk from the white theme. Second your framework needs to be modded to make possible the 7 apps lockscreen.
Like I said, the theme didn't contain a framework, and I don't have a mea framework-res. And I don't want to download a 1.4GB Rom to get it...
Give it a try with a modded MF4 framework.
I tried, and it worked good for me. Settings and other background are white. Almost everywhere. Not really my taste, lol. And the 7 lockscreen apps mod worked great.
So this flashable zip contains the modded white themed settings.apk and the MF4 framework.
NOT the complete white theme.
So first flash the white theme if your not yet using it, and then flash my zip.
Not the other way around!:silly:

I also built in a MIUI BatteryBar in 3Minit systemui and secsettings.apk.
You control the MIUI BatteryBar via your settingsmenu.
If you want, you can have that also. So it's an all-in-one mod...

Ok guys, I allways liked the MIUI Battery bar, the stripe at the top of your screen that indicates how full your battery is..
So I tried to build that into SystemUI, and wanted it to be controlled from the settingsmenu..
Looks quite nice!
The batterybar is difficult to see on a screenshot though:
2 files are affected by this mod, systemui en secsettings.apk.
The 7 lockscreenapps mod from post 1 needed modding of secsettings also, so I used that secsetting.apk to combine the two mods.

Making a screenshot of the ink effect is not possible
This is a combined mod, so you'll also have the ability to select upto 7 app-shortcuts for your lockscreen...
This mod also includes the Miui Batterybar...
Works on MF2/MF4/MF8
If you use a theme, possibly you will loose some of it after flashing this zip. Files are based on stock Wanam and unthemed.
Same for 3Minit like I explained before...

Yes I have it ready with 3minit, using it myselve, but don't want to share his mods with my mods in it, if you know what I mean. He didn't give me permission to use his files and post them here...

You' re wrong. This is the max effect possible. I would also like more ink, but this is the build in ink effect... Setting a lighter wallpaper makes a huge difference though...

Probably heard it all before but....
Make sure you have 2e recovery.
Install rom manager and flash clockwork recovery
or
Flash a rom which already has the custom bootloader in such as Doc's rom mod.
Put this theme on your internal sd card.
Select flash zip > From sd card.
Select Elegant-theme-JPO.zip
Reboot..
Launcher pro
If you would like the changed icons in the Launcher pro shortcut menu then simply download this file:http://www.multiupload.com/H0IJIJRXMM
Extract it and copy the .png's to your sd card.
Then once in launcher pro press and hold a shortcut to change it and then select custom icon > navigate to the place where you stored the .png's and select the relevant icon.

Love the theme, but I flashed it from Doc Froyo JPO 7.5 mod with extended power menu, but after the flash, those extended menus were gone again. Did the theme overwrite/remove them so I need to reflash it or does the theme simply not support them?
This theme does not support them, i am at work at the moment but when i get home i will look to add the extended power menu and update the theme.

Thanks for the answer. Also, is it possible to change the clock in the lockscreen so it shows 24h clock instead of 12h?
Also, do you know if the clock is available as a widget too?

Edit - the lockscreen clock corresponds to the status bar clock so simply change the 24 hr
Settings in settings > date and time.
Not sure if the clock alone, but there is a widget called genie widget wich is similar, i will upload that when i get home.

Very nice ROM. Specially the Lockscreen. I appreciate the work done.Certainly one of the full and best looking. I am using it on Docs V7.6 JPO.
Just one question though:-- I have checked that you are replacing the apks of with the themed version of ROM apks.Are those zip-aligned and optimized just like the Docs one?

The apk's are taken straight from docs JPO rom. Then archived and files replaced within so yes they should still be optimized and zipaligned.

If you don't want to use one of these tweaks or you don't want to get shutdown confirm then just rename that folder to like "skip_song_off" or delete folder. When you want to get tweak back then create that folder again.

Yes, I do this on one base. Stock deodexed. I flashed this on villain v3 and kitchenrom ki3. Worked on both of those.
All lockscreens have music controllers!

No it cannot be used. Those files needs to get odexed for it to work on odexed roms.
I forget to tell that this includes also apm + skip song with volume keys, home button lag fix. You can control those by changing folder names in sdcard/tweak/
One note also. I dont include in this any other tweak. I just try to port this awesome mod for as good as i can. Im sure eventually rom chefs/themers will mix this to jkays or other mods.

Tried to write you a pm but I can't attach so here we go:
When I slide do unlock or anything else the colors seems to be changed. So I've modified the stock/jkay sliders an now the match perfect with yours. Here are my files from the framework-res.apk which you may want to include in your release.
Anyway... If you don't wan't that I "publish" some modified graphics please let me know by pm. Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome work!

really? i always kinda liked the htc themes by jkay...the transparency there is imho perfect and suits the pitch black curtain.
just a thought though a black curtain without the seperators, a little transparency and ur icons as they are would look nice imho but never mind...was just a thought. it looks awesome as it is as well! thx

I imagined it, my theme is "resources" in framework-res.apk, where the jkay mod works, try this, but keep in mind that Some texts will be blue, not too much bother, this package (compatible), only has pictures no resources ..
ps: I'm pretty sure that if you apply my theme and jkay then work ... (1st post)

Can't get all features to work on omega 39, though. I still got blue color on toggle buttons and battery icon. Might be more that I haven't noticed yet. Even so it's much nicer than before. Thanks!

Im using Ripper Rom v9, everything is great except the battery icon. My guess would be that the icon in the rom is a 1% battery, and your is standard using less images because your icon pops up sometimes at certain intervals.

A Few Omega MODS
Hi All, CarlM34 here .......My third thread to date and I thought I would do something for my own ROM (Omega Sammy 4.1.2)....MOST of the mods here have been done by myself and others I have found and work with most Sammy based JB 4.1.2 ROMS. At the moment there are not that many MOD's but will add more as and when I have the time.:good:
Although these have only been tested on Omega (LSW) on my own device, I would imagine they should be compatible with most bases and most Sammy based ROM's....However I would not advise they be flashed on heavily modded ROM's already such as Biftor and Alliance (it may cause issues).
This is still very much a work in progress and I will add more as time goes on!
If anyone wants to share any mods you are more than welcome to do so and I will add them to the OP with the link and credit to the creator.

Its a thought...........I still have a few bits I am working on........like leaving the toggles at the top and also putting a picture in drop down also.....The images I have currently added are for the Transparent Dropdown Botton toggles....so watch this space. Will get there in the end....I also want to do a few combo's also, so users don't need to flash multiple .zips...........like bottom toggles with trasparent status bar blah blah blah:cyclops:
And also will be thinking about different text colours for the notifications also...
Don't really have that much time on my hands to concentrate on all of this....it's really much of a hobby to me....an enjoyable one though

Have you modded the 'popup' frames we get on the Sammy ROMs yet? You can add just about anything to these .9's and have some fun with stretching them too. I'll post a pic tonight of some fun ways to use the 'stretch' capability of the 9 patch pngs. (don't have them handy at work)

Once theme is flashed all the mods should show as themed.....the mods are .xml changes other than the flashable images......let me know if you have any probs:good:
