i think it's nice that you listed these ROMs, however, they probably should be labeled to as which version of JB they are running.
also, I would either exclude Energy/BDH (as they are out-dated and no longer being supported), or indicate that they are for JB 4.1.1 and can only be installed via SS.
you can also removed the "ported" ROMs, as those are no longer being supported either. notice that PAC is already in the first list, and that AOKP is really a Port.
also, I would order the posts in sequence:
1) How to Root/unlock bootloader/recovery
2) list of ROMs: list 4.1.2 first, then 4.2.2 (and sort by AOSP vs. AOKP/Hybrid)
3) mods
apologies for coming across too technical, but I guess my point is to make sure everything is accurate in order to reduce confusion.

Are there any flashable kernels for this device so far? I've noticed others in the dev forum showing they've flashed alternates, but I haven't located any myself just yet.

I use the arrrghhh kernel myself on the Stock rom (overclocking enabled to 1890 and governors added as well like smartassv2):

I think is should be added, its a good kernel compatible with this device. Bytecode's kernel is also popular among XT907 users but its posted in a different forum (not sure if that matters).

Second, may I suggest that you add LG drivers(the united mobile driver), the stock Nitro HD Recovery, Baseband, System, Firmware, and boot images. Maybe also the LG flash tool.
Just some ideas.

i couldn't get the srs mod to work at the bottom of the list, i would trim down the op's quote in my post but this new xda interface suck asses.
i also have rootable .img files from my phone if anyone needs them (V11a)

Do any of these ROMS have what i think is CNAP for Name Display feature of rogers wireless carrier? perhaps the 2.3.5 domination hd(which i cant find a link to which is working for p930) and im guessing this is a gingerbread based rom? I know for fact the unbrick method su640 rom v10f kdz and the ATT Official stock 2.3.5 both gave me working name display, i have the telus p935 running cm10 nightly right now.
You might want to get rid of CWM 6.0.1.2, it causes build.prop errors leading to you being unable to flash (I was soft bricked and I coulda got out if it weren't for that.

The pages you see on here from Sprint and the internal pages are different, If thats what you mean by you saw ZVA because I saw the one someone posted from Sprint's website that listed ZVA. But the internal page was updated yesterday when we knew the date around the 9/10th so it could be behind and the date could still be TBA.

BUT... Don't quote me as saying it 100% started on 3/11/13 and is ZVB because we all know things change and Sprint is confused about updates apparently.
I can haz Jelly Beans! Just got mine OTA! After weeks of clearing, checking, restarting, etc. I check my phone on my way to lunch and it was ready to install. WOO HOO!

One odd thing report w/ 4.1.2... it says the network is "Chameleon" instead of "Sprint".

My phone says the same

Yes, with odd things
GSM/Unlocked Gnex (maguro) does have 100% support on it
CDMA/Sprint/Verizon (toro/toroplus) can use maguros files but on flashing the 2-5th ROM you need to use either maguro files (recovery is made for maguro only) or mod the installer script for the toro zip so that it thinks its a maguro ROM for that moment

Tried flashing the kernel and I keep getting a bunch of errors upon boot

And here is PAC deodexed. The original version is odexed, so this one is for those who prefer deodexed. I have also made the following changes:
1. Removed lines that call for LT28h in META-INF, so that any ION owner can flash this rom;
2. Changed property in build.prop to prevent screen flickering in ION; and
3. Removed about 6mb of useless Android videos in Media/Video directory.
Otherwise, all of this is the work of djolivier, for which he gets CREDIT.

They are all AOSP. He was referring to your AOSP rom that you mentioned yesterday...

If you use PhilZ touch you'll have a touch UI in your recovery in the other version you have to use hardware buttons to navigate. Unofficial means that the Rom isn't buil from the original devs of the Rom but from someone else who ported it to our device and official means the Rom is built by the original devs of the Rom.

I'd use PhilZ Touch personally, there are a few more options with it, you can easily navigate and there's a file manager you can use from there as well (think it's called Aroma from the top of my head, could be wrong). The differences of official and unofficial have been said already, but which is better is completely dependant on what you're looking for in a custom ROM.
Which varient do you have? i have duos
I use f4k kernel which lets me overclock it to 2 GHz, plus i use CWM 6.0.4 ( I am not sure it there is official philz touch for my gt-i9192), plus have carbon rom 4.4.4 and customused it like hell. currently installed miui express launcher and miui theme for cm
