You should mention that the ROM has got the "CM10 bugs" as it's based on CM10...

good job but WiFI not work, Samsung apps not work, video record not work....

What about camera and picture quality,usb teather...any other bugs except wifi?

Okay well something I did borked up samsung text to speech. It kept force closing during certain things like the air hover tutorials (mainly the picture album hover tutorial).
So I uninstalled it and it stopped the tutorial crash. But now svoice will listen to me, but when it goes off to bring up the task, it force closes.

I agree...I debloated what i felt safe removing but i'll leave the heavy lifting for the big boys...lol:good::good::good:

updated the OP with a list i found from the galaxy s4 forums.

the amount of bloatware on here is ridiculous. Even if you exclude samsungs apps from the list, its still a pretty hefty list
i for one cant wait to get a taste of some aosp, and see what this phone is really capable of

Tried using es file explorer to remove alot of these apps from system/apps....Once i hit the delete button i get a message that says one or more of these items cannot be removed....From what i can tell it didnt remove anything...
Edit- Forgot I have to adjust sytem folder to rw instead of ro..... now it works..

unfreeze ChatONV_J.apk, It tanked my TTS as well, bringing it back fixed things.

Bloatware wasn’t invented with the Android phone, but Android phone manufacturers and cell phone carriers have really taken advantage of it. Bloatware is all of the extra software applications that come pre-installed on your Android–it can include any kind of application. Many Android phones come packed with useless software preinstalled by the device’s manufacturer and your cellular carrier. For example, Sprint even includes a NASCAR app with some of their phones. Most notable bloatware examples are games. The Sony Xperia Play came pre-installed with several games that could not be removed. The idea is that these pre-loaded apps and games add value to the device and attract you to make a purchase.Let’s take an example to illustrate just how problematic bloatware can be. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a fantastic gaming phone which comes with several games already installed, including FIFA, Star Battalion and The Sims 3. This was a major selling point at launch, and rightly so - being able to play awesome games straight out of the box is great. Games are just one example, though. Some apps are pre-installed by networks or phone makers. However, games have a limited lifespan before they become surplus to requirements, and although you can remove the game data partitioned on your SD card, you can’t physically remove the install files from the Xperia Play’s internal app storage area.That means those games are stuck on the device forever. Assume you have flashed a new rom. You now have to go through the pain of removing dozens of apps from system/app which you might not need. eg: some people hardly use google maps/swype/youtube/email/weather.apk or those several samsung apps/widgets found in stock rom. More reasons -
* Useless apps could Clutters your list of installed apps
* May even run automatically at startup
* Drain battery power in the background
* Disabled Bloatware Still Wastes Storage Space & comes back after reset.
* It slows down phone performance
* It could use ram, eat it.
* It takes up memory space that can be used for things you actually want
* It can potentially telegraph information to the app developer or phone company

It's a zip file written scripts in it which removse bloatware apps from ROM via Recovery. The system partition contains important apps required for android. if you remove an app which is essential for android then your device might get stuck in bootloop. So know what you're doing before trying this.

Hi guys i brought to you the Aroma of all the S5 Apps and Mods for our S3's kitkat ROM for those who like the S5 ( i just love to say that KitKat since that samsung has decided to not upgrade our s3 to kitkat .. i just say it again .. well unfortunately for samsung our DEVS has upgrade it to kitkat ) for my opinion samsung didn't want to upgrade it because they was afraid that people come back to the S3 because even if the upgrade is still in beta version ( thanks to our developer @JustArchi.. be sure to thank him in hes thread ) i jsut wanna tell you I NEVER GET MY PHONE SO SMOOTHER AND FASTER till now... i just fall in love in my phone again :angel:​

well here is The Aroma Everything is working !!

- DO A FULL CLEANING ( Just Do a Factory Reset... ) so that everything works properly..
- Install Archiport Preview5
- then reboot your phone
- debloat the Rom so it don't give bootloop ( i have includ a cleaning script in the Aroma if you don't know how to ..)
- Download the Aroma
- Install it in recovery ( PhilzTouch recommended )
- Choose what you want to install
- Enjoy
Just follow the instruction and you won't have any issue it was tested many times thanks to:

Im not responsable if you brick you phone bla bla ... we all know that since you are in XDA !! but you have to consider that the KK Rom is WIP (work in progress) unstable so you should be a ware that all the bugs you will face are from the Rom it self so don't post bugs that are related to the rom here.. yeepp everyy one i have tested and it's fully working
if somthing is wrong give feed back (it's still intial release tho )

1. place InCallUI.apk to system/app
2. at system/priv-app remove SecContacts_OSup.apk and SecPhone.apk
3. place SecContacts.apk and SecTeleService.apk to system/priv-app
so it's working for me
and this is fully s5 systemui place it to system/priv-app

After installing everything I'm getting "S.Finder" and "Quick connect" in notification panel. What are these? They do nothing when clicked. Can they be removed?

You must edit build.prop too.read first post

guys should i remove "storyAlbum" it just taking to much space ... so i can put the S5 settings and S5 lockscreen effect i mean i could put them all but the Aroma size will be more than 800MB i stil could make a zip file for it for those who like it !!
