Problems when connecting to my WLAN Network...

Hi,
I am kind of new here and I allso did a search on this forum for my problems but I did not find anything about it...
Here is my problem:
When I try to enable Wireless trough START---> SETTINGS ---> CONNECTIONS--->WLAN
I see the checkbox "Wireless LAN ON"
When I check that ...the MDA starts thinking ...and it returnes to the previous screen ...
When I go back and klik on the WLAN icon again I see that it has disables itself again...
How is this possible?
Thanks for the answers...
Here is MY DEVICE INFORMATION:
ROM VERSION = 1.06.00 ENG
ROM DATE = 08/05/04
RADIO VERSION = 1.00.00
PROTOCOL VERSION 1337.30
ExtROM VERSION = 1.06.118 WWE
Is this new or old?
Thanks,
I will try to help but I am sure someone will be able to help more.
If you click on your WIFI connections, on my MDA 3 it is on the bottom right of the today screen, or by going Start>Settings>Connections>WLAN it will bring the WLAN window up.
On here you can click to turn the WLAN on as you said however at the bottom their is a tab for settigns if you click on here it will bring up about your battery life and below that to turn WLAN off automatically.
Mine was already on by default and I had this problem until I noticed this so you may to check this and turn this off.
Hope this helps.
I have CE ROM 1.33.10 with Radio 1.06.02 on my PDA2K and have to admit that I get the same issue when trying to "hot-switch" sometimes. To resolve it, I attempt a switch to WLAN, and when it doesn't work, I perform a soft reset. At bootup, it remembers that I wanted to establish a Wi-Fi connection and automatically connects from there.
So, it's not really a "hot switch" but a "reboot" into the correct configuration. Hope that helps.
Similar problems...sure would like a solution
When I want to connect to WLAN I check the box, close the app and wait. Unfortunately it often does not connect. When I reopen the app the "Wireless LAN ON" check box is automatically removed! Repeating this does not solve the problem. It seems the only way to get it to work is a soft reset which fixes things - ugh. I do keep the check box "Auto turn off WLAN if not connected" checked which does not seem like it should interfere.

Try this, go to Start> Settings> Wi-Fi> Power Mode> Power save mode: change to {Best performance} and check mark the box {Auto turn off WLAN if no WLAN or user activities after LCD OFF over: {set to 30 seconds}, Done, soft reset your device! Turn on your wifi, it should work as it normally would now.........!

Allready tried that. I must have messed up the settings , because after I did a clear storage , wifi worked again. However after the "clear" it does not recognize my storage card. It isn't in the system info in taskmanager and not in explorer.

radio upgrade

hi all when I try to upgrade my radio ROM through activesync it says connection error. Then I get stuck in the bootloader, so I try doing it trough storage card then it only gets about 1/6 of the way, and freezes, I have left it overnight and no progress. So then I have to flash a full ROM to get it start up, but I really need a new radio because mine doesn't give me any signal for about a mile were I live
thanks in advance
If you're running xp right click the activesync icon in your taskbar.
Then go to connection settings deselect all options except for the show status icon in the taskbar option. Enable them after the update.
Put your device in bootloader mode manually (Press the ok and power button together while restting from down ) hold the two buttons until the bootloader screen appears, attach your device to the PC then run RUUWrapper.exe.
Hope I could help .

no mobile data after reboot - have to enable/disable flight mode

Hi everybody,
Since I upgraded my phone to Android 9.0 Pie, I have a strange problem after every reboot: Mobile data is enabled but doesn't work (no network indicator arrows visible) - it will only work after I enable/disable flight mode.
Can anybody confirm this issue or has a solution? Is it a Pie bug?
My idea was to use Tasker to enable/disable flight mode after reboot...
Thanks in advance for your help!
I have this problem even i use oreo 8.1 and now on android pie i have same problem.
