Is there a way to selectively set Vonage as default only for dialing international numbers while letting the stock dialer be default for local numbers?

Contact with multiple numbers -> Easier call

Hey there,
is there any app to do the following:
When tapping a contact from "my contacts" or from my call list without tapping the green call image (I'm using DialerOne) -> Show the numbers of this contact so I can faster change which number to change instead having to open the contacts page and than select the no to call...
Thanks!
Is there any app or flash addon?
Not sure if this will help...
Using the default dialer, if you use the trackpad to highlight the contact, you can swipe left/right with the trackpad to toggle between the contact's different numbers.

phone fusion

1. Select Settings on your handset
2. Select Call Settings
3. Select Forwarding
4. Now select the appropriate Forwarding options. They vary by manufacturer. You want to forward on these conditions:
Busy
No Answer
Unavailable
Does anyone know how i get to that? I would like to use phone fusion as my voicemail, instead of sprint's.
You need to push menu on the home screen, select setting, then call settings, the voicemail settings and good to go from there, just follow any instructions from there.
The only options i have under voicemail settings is the voicemail number. I do not have a forwarding option.
Did you click the app for the program in the drawer? May have to look for it there and start the setup, because I had to the other day when I started using google voice.

[Q] Has anyone gotten google voice working with CM9?

I can't seem to set up the forwarding options, i just get a network/sim error. I saw this in the CM9 thread but the posted fix did not work either.
@trobertson,
Potentially stupid question, but are you located in the US?
go to your google account dashboard, select goog voice and enable it there. worked for me.

AT&T = yes.

I had the same problem. The natural Google Voice set up didn't work. Entering *004*12345678900# code didn't work either.
I got it working by ignoring the errors and setting Google Voice as the handler then manually entering the number Google gives you to access voicemail as the three forwarding numbers.
From the dialer, hit the menu button > Settings > Call Forwarding
Note, you don't enter your "Google voicemail access number" which seems counter intuitive. You enter your 10 digit number from *004*(these)#
You can find those numbers from the Google Voice webpage > click the gear > "phones" tab > Edit > Forwarding options: Activate > should bring up a window with your code.
Hope that helps.

That "10 digit number" (11 if you count the leading 1) that you are describing *IS* your Google phone number. If your Google number is 222-333-4444, then you dial *004*12223334444# to enable automatic forwarding to the Google number (which allows you to receive voicemail through Google). There is no special "code".

Im just running the stock gs3 rom from tmo.
No luck yet with google voice... the phone keeps reverting back to the default voicemail system.
Seems like tmobile is trying to force me to use their app?

there is an issue w/ the stock rom and GV
you can still get by it, just 'skip' the step to set it up as your provider, complete the rest of the setup, then go into your call settings on your S3 and change the settings accordingly.
step by step instructions:
- pull up the 'phone' app
- hit the menu button in the bottom left
- hit the menu button in the bottom left
- click 'call settings'
- scroll down to and select 'call forwarding'
- click 'voice call'
- then change the three settings 'forward when busy' / 'forward when unanswered' / 'forward when unreachable' all to your GV number (add a +1 before your 10 digit GV number)
fyi: google voice call log will still not show correctly on the stock rom in the phone log. when dialing out it will show the phone number it connected to at google voice.
hope this helps! please hit thanks if it helped!

Your step by step did not help me.
Im not trying to use google voice to make calls, but just change my voicemail provider.
When I did not answer my old phone it would say: this google voice subscriber is not available, etc.
And I would be able to view a voice-to-text version of my voicemails through the google voice app, as well as play them from the app.
Currently im forced to call my voicemail in order to listen to / delete my voicemails...

Log into google voice on your computer.
Go to settings >> phones
Find your phone. Click on the activate link if there is one. If there isn't click deactivate and then reactivate it.
I just went through the same thing the other day and I had to reactivate my phone for google voice. It involves dialing some crazy number from your phone, and basically thats it.

Is there anyway to make it show the number you are actually dialing instead of that stupid access number? That has been driving me crazy since release! There was some $2.00 app in the marketplace that was suppose to fix that, but it didn't and I had my money refunded immediately.

Emergency cell broadcasts

How do you disable them on this phone? I can't seem to find the menu.
open up settings, go to applications, click on messaging then go to "emergency alert settings"
set it how you want it.
