Another way to get to those settings is to create a custom shortcut for them.
In Nova for instance;
Long click on home screen, go to Shortcuts, Activities, Settings, Torch Light. Pick the one that points to torchlight.TorchlightSettings
Now you've got the same options.

This what I'm going on my rom but it isn't working any ideas

Ya I tried this on a friends phone and it didn't work, I tried the nova way, any ideas?

Odd, it works like a charm for me using the shortcut method.
After setting that check box and turning the screen off the volume off button turns the light on. It stays on for as long as set in the second option or until I hit the volume down button.
I'm currently running stock firmware XXUMBF5 in case that makes any difference.

Make sure "TorchlightSettings" in the end is written like this.capital T and S

Is this mod in any way in conflict with 3minit framework, or is it ok to flash over it?

So does this mod conveniently put the Torch Light in the settings menu or does it also enable the functionality altogether?
I used it on my AT&T Galaxy S4 with Goldeneye 4.0 ROM and it worked great. I was doing some testing on a stock AT&T MDL S4...used Nova Launcher to grab the hidden link to the settings (not using your mod) and I was able to enable the Torch Light but it didn't actually work.
I'm wondering whether the functionality is enabled in a later build or if it's your mod that's doing the enabling.
Thanks!

Torchactivity is already included in secsettings..samsung just hasent added it to settings for some reason

Hi guys. My S health app is crashing at startup, can someone else who has this mod tell me if their S health app works Ok? (I know one cause for S health crashing is having the multi Window exposed hack installed, which I fixed a while ago by uninstalling that, but now it's crashing and I can't figure out what's causing the crash.)

Would anyone be so kind as to compile a zip that I can flash that will return the torchlight option back to stock (as if it never happened)? I tried to see if I could find a secsettings.apk file in my phone that I could decompile and take out the edits in red, but I couldn't find the file and the guides out there on decompiling apks are way above my level of expertise. I appreciate any help I could get, thank you so much....

i tried to edit your framework-res in your theme to slim down horizontals.
here is the code:
make edits in frameworks-res/res/values/styles.xml
lines 357 - 373
copy and paste this over those lines:

i get errors when compiling. you shouldnt since you have been editting with that frameowrks. but those are the mods.
also there are alot of pngs that should be changed as weel to get the overall ics effect. mostly green check boxes. if i come across mpdi images ill share.
also below is styles.xml editted and decompiled. so copy over existing styles in your framework-res

Dark Mms with Quick Reply and ANIMATED NOTIFICATION ICON!!

Something pretty basic. It should work on every AOSP-based Jelly Bean ROM. If it doesn't, let me know.
[This was built on JB v4.1.2's Mms.apk; although, it will work on v4.1.1--just don't complain when it doesn't].
This has all the basics: Emoji, quick reply, themed emoticons, and has an animated notification icon!
Just flash in Recovery (CWM or TWRP).
Make a backup or something before flashing this; no matter what, make sure you have an alternative way to get back a working Mms.apk when this one fails to work--which it shouldn't.
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT COULD/MAYBE/SHOULDN'T/STILL MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOUR PHONE. DON'T BLAME ANYONE BUT YOURSELF. But really--if anything does happen, not my fault; however, if you're nice, I'd love to help you fix it!
If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment and let me know!
Screenshots:

Flashable Animated Mms:
http://www.mediafire.com/?jke1eqxq7159i8m
EDIT 10/12: Fixed some minor cosmetic stuff. Looks better.
EDIT 10/13: Fixed more cosmetic stuff. Should be flawless, hence the file names.
EDIT: 10/15: Made the Holo icon standard. Added in an Animated Notification for new messages! Looks neat. I'll update the screenshots later tonight. Oh yeah, and now: Flashable zip files! No longer must you used ADB.
EDIT: 10/19: Possible fix for Jelly Belly and Jelly Bro? Let me know.
EDIT 10/23: Cleaned up a lot of stuff. Streamlined some of the settings menus, fixed some colors, made it sexier. I updated the app to be based off of JB 4.1.2 and even compiled it differently to ensure compatibility with the majority of ROMs. I added in a Quick Emoji button, but have failed to fully implement it. I promise an update within 2 weeks or so to add this feature back in.
EDIT 10/24: Fixed SMS splitting when message was more than 160 characters or something like that. Fixed it.
I won't be upgrading this app to 4.2.1 until I start running a 4.2.1 ROM. Sorry to be like that, but oh well. In the mean time, go see Jase's themed Mms app. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745830

File size is smaller than the one from CNA.

The file size is irrelevant. Although, I would assume mine is larger simply because I have more going on.
Have you tried downloading it again? Maybe you got a bad download. I'll definitely look into this. It's odd, because I'm using CNA v3.5. I can't imagine there was any major changes between my version and the newest version that could interfere with the MMS app.

You could restore back to a Nandroid. I'm assuming you didn't make one though. You could take your ROM that you have installed, find the zip file for the ROM, and go to /system/app/Mms.apk and push that to your phone via ADB; or you could use a file manager and move it that way.
I like it.

Here is a quick How To on adding the Driving Mode button to the Quick Settings drop down.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge on how to decompile and recompile SystemUI.apk
GUIDE
1. Decompile your SystemUI.apk
2. Navigate to and open \SystemUI\res\values\arrays.xml
3. In your text editor you will see this list:
<string-array name="QuickSettingButtonAttribute">

Wifi

Location

SilentMode

AutoRotate

Bluetooth

MobileData

DormantMode

PowerSaving

AllShareCast

MultiWindow

Sync

</string-array>
Click to collapse
3. Add the following line where you want the Driving Mode Button to be:

DrivingMode

Click to collapse
For example:
<string-array name="QuickSettingButtonAttribute">

Wifi

Location

SilentMode

AutoRotate

Bluetooth

MobileData

DormantMode

PowerSaving

DrivingMode

AllShareCast

MultiWindow

Sync

</string-array>
Click to collapse
4. Save, recompile and replace your SystemUI.apk on your device - either reboot or flash via recovery (which ever method you prefer)
5. DONE!
NOTES:
Even though no notification pops up confirming it is enabled IT IS, if you goto system settings and find the enable button you will see it is ON.
You can also delete, rearrange your buttons to how ever you like.
The graphic for Driving Mode IS included in our devices ROMS, so no need to add any images either. (Along with other buttons that aren't enabled)
You can also add Airplane Mode:

Right here on XDA
XDA is the place I found out how to do all the stuff I do, many tutorials, just search for the right thing
ask and ye shall find
the power of the search is great on this forum
it shall provide you with all that you need and stuff that you could need
Are you signing the apk? In walkthroughts is written dont sign when its system apk, which is.
Tried to decompile, recompile, did not change anything and on phone it is not working.
Also, odexed or deodexed? This file is in both versions. Tried them both,no success.
It would be great to find out full list of possible items. I will decompile stock systemUI and take a look for full list

Hey, thanks for your post. Actually, i have also tried to modify couple of SystemUI.apk and Framework-res.apk etc. but none worked correctly or resulted in a bootloop. Hence, we need support from someone experience in these kind modifications. Moreover, i never intended to create a duplicate thread but unfortunately, the search function was not working at that time and I had to create it

Someone want to try this one? If this doesn't work then I don't know what will. I've tried one image and a few different xmls and none seem to work.

I tried it now, it works, but you have edited the wrong files, maked the notications transparent.
I have a tutorial:
1. You should decompile SystemUI.apk
2. Open /SystemUI/res/layout/tw_super_status_bar.xml and change android:background to 100% transparent:
Code:
<com.android.systemui.statusbar.phone.StatusBarWindowView android:background="#00000000" android:focusable="true" android:fitsSystemWindows="true" android:descendantFocusability="afterDescendants"
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:systemui="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/com.android.systemui">
3. Save /SystemUI/res/layout/tw_super_status_bar.xml
4. Open /SystemUI/res/values/drawables.xml and edit this line to get transparency you need, for example, 100% transparent:
Code:

#00000000

5. Save /SystemUI/res/values/drawables.xml
6. Recompile SystemUI.apk
Done... Now you have 100% transparent homescreen statusbar
A short hint:
#00000000 - 100% transparency
#3F000000 - 75% transparency
#7F000000 - 50% transparency
#BF000000 - 25% transparency
Thaks for helping.

I decompiled SystemUI.apk and can find no tw_super_status_bar.xml anywhere.
I did edit super_status_bar.xml and drawables.xml but there's no tw_super_status_bar.xml...?
