[Q] HELP! Texting & App Drawer questions. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hey all, so i have couple questions regarding my T989.
1. Is it possible to change App Drawer transparency on CM10 without installing a another launcher, rather keeping the same stock trebuchet launcher that comes with CM 10.
2. Is it possible to text in other languages on CM10 and if so HOW?! (Languages im looking for are Hindi and Gujarati)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You would have to go into settings/input&language to change the language for texting, as far as transparency in the app drawer, I'm not sure, try launcher settings

Replacing App Icons - Possible?

Hi all,
Is there any way to change the icon for an app? The one in question is GO SMS... I don't like the green icon, ruins my blue theme!
I understand I may have to mess with the app itself, or install another app.. I don't mind really. I am quite technically minded but im new to android.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
I think apex OR nova launcher and then you can use app Metrostation to color and icon

You can use Nova&Apex launcher. Long click on the app and than change click on the icon and choose the one u want to. This will only replace the desktop icon not the one in the launcher. replacing the drawer icon is a bit difficult. i hope i was able to help.

Install one:
APEX Launcher
NOVA Launcher
GO Launcher EX
ADW Launcher
Launcher Pro
They all allow different icon sets.

Then that requires editing of the launcher apk which can be found in /system/app/ its called touchwiz30launcher.apk
Give me the specific icon pack you'd like to use, and I can recompile it with the new icons and upload a flashable version for you.
(Assuming youre using a rooted rom and running the default tw launcher.)

So you want the browser icon to be a chrome icon? Yes. Just tell him what icons you want. What color, what "pack". Do you want stock Jelly Bean Icons?

no the icon, i mean rearrange (i think thats the word ) instead of having stock browser there, put the chrome (no icon, i mean launch chrome instead of stock browser for example)
Long press on the icon and drag it. If I'm understanding you correctly.
Edit: I forgot that it was different in twlauncher.
1. Open app drawer
2. Menu -> edit
3. Drag chrome over top of the web icon, it should replace.
4. Hit back until you get to the home screen. (Home will undo your changes).

I've been looking to do this myself, but I'm a bit freaked out to try doing so. Would you be willing to offer me the same thing?
I'm running Hyperdrive RLS6 on a Galaxy S4. I paid and downloaded the "Future Blue" icon pack and have been changing one icon at a time with the free Icon Changer, but it's a huge pain and extremely time consuming.

Nope. If you want to change icons without rooting you'll need alternative launcher like Apex, ADW, GO or Nova (which I prefer the most). All of them are free (but you can buy full version with few features added). Check them out on Google Play.
Yes you can... Get Desktop Visualizer from Play store... And you can put your custom icons for anything......

Change Icons on 4.3 Touchwiz?

Hey guys, was trying to change my icons on Macks Rom 5.0, its running 4.1.2 Touchwiz but cannot find it in settings. I am used to Apex Launcher and you can change icons within the settings menu. How do you change icons on TouchWiz launcher? When icon packs are installed they dont show in the App list either. Any replys are appreciated. Thanks!

You need to install a theme that changes your whole entire phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-2-sprint/themes-apps if u go in that section you will see a couple of themes you can use. If I remember correctly the reason that u can't see them in app drawer is because u need a theme changer.
