Found this working port

To let it work do this:
Use ICS rom!!!
Extract the lib file in the apk.
Copy the .so file to system/lib and set permissions to
r w
r
r
Put the apk in system/app and set permissions to
r w
r
r
After that download a lcd density changer from the market, set density to 125 dpi, reboot and you're done.
lcd density is needed to display the launcher correctly

It FC's because you changed the default dpi wich is 160.
Hope it helped.

You can but the launcher will be displayed weird.

And I thought that to uses this we needed to have already a ICS rom. So if the theme is the same or almost the same. So it would be useless.

can somebody tell me please how do i change the system font on xperia z?? i have root. font changer doest work ,it only change font in some apps like whatsaap,but not the phone font. Thanks

it using some specific s h i t. Even when I try to change the font from system it gives bootloop.

i got also bootloop when replacing the font .
i had to flash it in CWM, and it workt

Yeah would be great if you could share how you made the font pack for cwm. I'm looking to use droidlogo. If i know how you did it, i could probably make something like a font package for it.

That worked perfectly on my new Xperia Z on 4.1.2 and the latest .253
Up until now, I had been using Rom Toolbox Pro to change fonts without issue on my Razr XT910 and HTC HD2 before that.... but it didn't want to play ball with my rooted/CWM'd Xperia Z

You'll need to replace the following files in system/fonts
Roboto-Bold
Roboto-BoldItalic
Roboto-Italic
Roboto-Regular
SoMA-Bold
SoMA-Regular
Download a font you want and Just rename the Robo-Bold & Roboto-Regular to SoMA-Bold & SoMA-Regular.
Don't forget to set permission to RW-R-R.
Hope it helps.

Easiest way I've found to do it is to use Font Installer on the Play Store. Works perfectly on my XZ with no issues (yet, although I have changed fonts about six times)

Is your phone rooted? Not sure about es explorer. I use root explorer.

I am root, since I am the leak.
I used astro and es explorer and it does not work, I get an error

I think from Xperia Z new FW.

After installing Small Apps white bar is gone. You should check that. Something is wrong.

problem still persist after clearing cache..also try move the .apk to /system and move it back to /system/app..still got FC..

Seems to be working ok, but there is error when you look at pictures in album and go back to camera.

After testing this I tried Camera apk from Xperia Z rom and it seems to work. Didn't receive any error closing album and going back to camera.
Somebody else could try it out and post their experience.

Download XPERIA Z system Dump and move SemcCameraUI.apk to your phone

i think its easier if someone with xperia z cam apk will upload it, than to download the whole system dump.

Does this work with .200? Or does it cause the bug where if you enter the Album via camera mode and then go back, you get a black screen?

How to install z apps? Only move them to system/apps?
