BRICKED!! - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

I don't know what happened. I was about to unlock the device. I had it plugged in to my PC and clicked reboot to put it in recovery.
And now it will not turn on at all. I push power and nothing. I plug it in to the charger and no charging icon comes up. I plug it in to my PC and it comes up as QHSUSB_DLOAD with a needs troubleshooting status.
Any help please.

try holding power and volume down while plugged in , for like 20 sec see if it's just stuck in recovery cause theres no recovery installed.

Thanks! I was trying every combination of power and volume. Guess I just wasn't holding long enough and it wasn't plugged in.

Just remember always take your time and lastly you can't brick it if you did nothing to it. just telling it to reboot without actually running any commands shouldn't change anything.

Devide Bricked?

Well i let my device drain to 0 percent last night. It turned on after i plugged it in to the charger but because it had no battery it died right away. Then the phone would not turn on anymore, all it does when i hold the power button is vibrate. When plugged in the notification light does not work and neither does taking off the battery. Can any 1 help? Is there a way to soft reset the phone?
Plug it in with the battery let it charge for like 3 hours then turn it on

Help please!

So earlier today I was using my phone in class when it suddenly shuts off. It shutting off was normal to me so like always, I take the battery out and put it back in. It turns back on gets to one of the loading screens and shuts off. My phone keeps vibrating while it's off so I don't think it could be the battery. Occasionally if I'm lucky, it would fully load to the point where I could use it but then shuts off and the whole process repeats again. I'm using the juggernaut rom if that helps.
Any ideas?
Odin back to stock and root your device and restore to your previous ROM if u have a backup of that ROM on your phone

I didn't have it in in the video and I tried it too, it doesn't do/change anything. I can get into download mode for literally a second and then the same thing just happens, it turns off and the little vibrating continues and remains in that state until I remove the battery and put it back in.

Sounds like it could be a stuck power button...at least as I've read other descriptions of similar symptoms. Check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1931310

[Q] Just bought a used OG - is it bricked?

Just got a good condition used Optimus G off ebay. The listing indicated that the phone was fully functional. However, it will not turn on. I've tried charging it but no lights come on. I've tried all combinations of vol +/- and power. Tried a different charger that I know is working...
I can probably get my money back but if its just an easy fix I wouldnt mind keeping the phone. Any ideas?

[Q] Accidentally Installed ACER Recovery Installer to XAS

I accidentally installed ACER Recovery Installer to my Xperia Acro S to see if the CWM will be installed. After pressing reboot to recovery, my phone did not reboot at all. Power button not responding, no LED light and it was not charging as well. Tried to recover it using Flashtool but my computer doesn't read the phone because the phone do not respond to my PC. My phone already soft brick twice and I made it work using Flashtool, but this time, it failed. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Should it be really volume up + power? I thought the 1 then 3 vibrates works only for volume down + power (hard reset)?
No power - volume down is for stock recovery

Did a rubberband technique, put the rubberband on power and volume + to press/hold them down and leave it that way for 20 minutes. When I touch the phone, it is slightly hot already. I remove the rubberband and charge it on a wall charger for about 4 hours, Now, it has a red LED and I am getting the phone ready for flashtool procedure.
Hope this luck continues (cross-fingers).
Thanks for your help and wish me luck.

Still stuck at Red Led, been working on it since October 1st. No luck of Green Led nor Blue Led for me to be able to use Flashtool. Left it charging for 24 hrs. last Thursday night up to Friday Night. I kept on reading
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170 over and over again. I am already thinking if I will open the back part to unplug the battery. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
try flashing a ftf first , make sure you hold power +volume up for a bit of time before trying

Hi
Try to to get it into fast boot mode I think it is holding power button and volume down while USB plugged in. Also make sure to have flashtool open as it will confirm if it has booted into fast boot mode it will read in the logs as well as a blue light coming up.
You can then flash a compatible recovery/kernal and boot into the phone through recovery or flash a .ftf from flashtool.

Galaxy nexus issues turning on

so i had a gnex with a busted usb port. i was using my moms gnex battery in the meantime to send a few important tests before i went off the air, and then i got a HTC One (which is awesome btw) to replace it, but when i got the usb pcb to replace the busted one, i replaced it all and triple checked all connections before putting phone back together.
Basically the problem is this. power button wont do anything. the battery i have i know has a 50% charge on it. I tried the pull battery put in usb put in battery trick and that gets me to the charging logo for about 15 seconds and then the phone turns off.
Do i have a bricked phone?
any ideas?
