How to install
Note : Paranoid Android 3.60+ is only for jellybean (v20) baseband. If you are on ics (v10) baseband flash v20 baseband from this thread
1 Format everything other then Sd card and data/media (Full format is must needed when you flash paranoid 3.60+ for the first time)
2 Flash the CM10.1 zip
3 Reboot
4 Boot into recovery mode
5 Install Google apps
6 Reboot

If you mean as a base, yes I used PecanCM's CM10.1 latest beta build as a base... paranoid is mostly CM based... please report bugs to me so I can fix ASAP...

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. Great ROM, feels very smooth with Franco's r298 kernel.
My findings so far:
1. Everytime I change the UI under "Settings/ParanoidAndroid Settings/Launch" to Tablet, Phaplet or Phone the device is stacked at the boot screen (I have to pull the battery out and the reboots fine with the new settings)
2. When I try to enter Screen Security under "Settings/Lockscreen" I get a settings FC
3. Torch in AOKP toggles not working
4. Camera app when in Tablet UI not working

its safer to press the power buttons for around 10 sec and the phone will reboot by itself...
I can't change the UI mode on the Hybrid menu, the SU pop-up is way too big (like if its DPI setting was messed up), i cant see the Allow/Reject buttons so i cant accept changes.
Even after doing a wipe i have the issue
Superuser has an issue. Use SuperSU instead and delete the Superuser apk from /system/app

goo.im is so slow for me .... the paranoid gapps zip is 183 mb and it takes 38 minutes to download . But I wait patiently for the download to finish. Downloaded the ROM in 2 minutes , now waiting all that remains are the paranoid gapps. Can't wait to try my first paranoid rom Also I see on the i9300 thread that you prepare a new update soon. OpenPDroid is a set of modifications to the Android framework and libraries which allows fine-tuning of the data which applications are able to retrieve about your device, your account, your messages, and more. Specifically, it is a Privacy service provider. In short by installing a mod in recovery that modifies a few key files from my ROM you can then install a program from Playstore called PDroid Manager that will allow what information any application can access. Only been running for the day so not sure of any issues. From now on the only thing that i will continue to PORT is the PAC Rom all my new builds will be from source. PAC just seems to be beyond my ability to build just yet. But you guys are my test subjects so install away and tell me what is playing up.

Thanks.. Downloading now and will report back how it goes.. Well.. Somehow i still pefer slimroms as im running slim rom on my s2 and nexus 7.. However i'm missing 3.4 kernel for acro s and this rom has 3.4 kernel.. Good luck and all the best!
PS: Do i just dirty flash over or fastboot boot.img?

When i install a new ROM i always do a wipe of CACHE / DATA and dalvik and System. As long as you have a backup you can just restore it.
Is it normal for the boot animation to blink while loading?

No issue from now. The ROM Work well. Will use it until you give US slimrom update because i like it more.

Yeah mate. It is bloody annoying though isnt it. But after the first install you dont really get a chance to see it so much because your just about booted by then.

Yep.. Very irritating, lol.. Almost blinded me! Well got booted.. All seems fine.. But don't seems to be able to remove the bottom navigation buttons..

Just reduce the size to zero percent in that option.
EDIT: System - Navbar Modifier - Navigation Bar height

Thanks but I wanna remove the navigation bar dont reduce the size or remove only the nav option

Sorry if this is a stupid question !
But can support for Fauxaudio/Boeffla Audio/Voodoo Audio or any like that be added to the new JB 4.3 (CM 10.2) builds. I know Voodoo audio may be old. but the others?

EDIT: Is it better than ACiD and Noozoxide. The latter ones are very buggy and not up to the mark on sound quality. Just my opinion of course.

Yeah, I found that. But I cannot find if it comes up as Music Effects in Settings so can apply to system wide audio. Or Bluetooth Audio. Many of these are hedaphones based, so just asking ???
When incorporated into kernel it affects all system wide audio, as far as I know.
I will give it a try !!

It allows you set set separate profiles for system wide for headphones, blue tooth, or speaker. I had it working on CM10.1. I can't confirm any other rom or 4.3. Try it.
