Why Do All Of The First Letters Of Your Words Start With Caps?
Does it really matter what ROM you're using? I downloaded 'Power Controls' by Painless Death off of Snappz. Works for me. They all do the same thing.
I used to mostly use the built-in CM power widget when I was on CM7, then when I went to CM9/10, those kinda lost the customizability they had in CM7. Then I realized that you can just stick tons of power widget options in the notification bar, which I LOVE now, since I can access every power option I want from wherever (not needing to go back to the homescreen). I used to think that only 4 buttons could fit in there, but I recently found out that it will fit 6 buttons at a time, and if you put more than 6 buttons in the notification bar power widget, then it becomes side-to-side scrollable, which is awesome. This also has the added benefit of not needing to download external apps to just have a power widget. I'm sure some of those have advanced capabilities than I'm unaware of, but the notification drawer options are pretty all-encompassing.
The set of options I've got in the notification drawer (in order) is:
-Sound
-Brightness
-Wifi toggle
-GPS toggle
-Bluetooth toggle
-LED flashlight toggle
-Orientation toggle
Hope that gives you some ideas!

[Q] Quickmemo signature removal

Q - Can the 'LG Quickmemo' signature be disabled?
A - Yes! When in Quickmemo mode, hit menu and toggle on/off.

[REQ] Quick Setting Access

Hey,
I don't usually post requests nor threads.
Anyway, there are some things really annoying about the quick setting:
1- Two fingers to access it
2- When you press a toggle you got to setting (i know there is a mod for that!!)
So please if there is someone could make an easier access to the quick setting
Say like, if you pull down the notification bar (one finger only) from the right side (or right corner) you go directly to the toggles, and
from the lift side to get the notifications
If some one can add this to the exciting quick setting mod that would be great!
Thanks

Missing / hidden features in settings (Advanced Mode)

I've noticed that there are a few features that exist in CyanogenMod that seem to be hidden/disabled/missing in CyanogenOS
For example, the option to edit the softkeys, or enable the keyboard cursor arrows.
Most curious is if you search for those options, they show up in the search results, you just can't see the options when you try and go there.
The option to enable them is hidden in About Phone - just turn on 'Advanced mode' and you'll get the extra goodies
Answering my own question - YES, there is an Advanced mode toggle - it's hiding in the About Phone page of settings.
Phew!

Thanks, you saved me an hour or 2.
USB debugging settings menu
Hi. Just thought I would post this additional step that's needed to show the USB debugging options that most users might be looking for under the developer options:
The option to enable is hidden in Settings, About Phone - now just click 7 times on 'Build number' and you'll get the new menu item 'Developer options' under Settings, where you will find a host of additional settings! :good:
I'm seeing some of the goodies through search only. Advanced mode and developer mode are enabled.
The goodies I'm talking about -> Recent button double tap/tap and hold.

How can I add a screenshot toggle in the quick settings menu ?

Hi everyone !
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 (runing Android Oreo) and I want to know if there's a way I can add a screenshot toggle in the quick settings menu ?
I know I can take a screenshot using the "conventional" way (Power + Volume UP) but I really want to know if there's a option for it to show in my quick settings menu
Cheers !

Try Shorcutter - Quick Settings & Sidebar or SystemUI Tuner from Play Store.

I think you should edit build.prop to enable screen recording. That "screenshot toggle" is switchable between screen recording and screenshot.
Thanks for the suggestions
So here's the problem
My device is not rooted and I don't want to root it (at least for now bcs it's brand new and my last phone that was rooted had some wierd issues)
Also I tried to use apps such as Shorcutter but I don't get the advanced features that Samsung provides (like extended screenshot or being able to draw certain things etc)
I want a "native" way to do it if it's possible
Cheers !
