Also notice on the screen plastic it points to vzw.com/galaxynexus and not google.com/nexus, like all the other nexus phones.

I'm no image expert, but there are a couple of rogue reflections there. Also, there's some weird seams on the screen protector. Might be a photoshop special. I don't see a photo of the back with the verizon logo, please post. Also, seems to be some text on the short side of that box in the first shot. Better picture please? Otherwise the rest could be easily greeked. Or, its a demo unit. Not buying that this is a unit/box intended for retail. Hope i'm wrong.

Does anyone else's home button seem loose after using it for a while? Mine rattles slightly when touching it. I'm not sure if that's just the way it is or if it has come lose. I can't seem to find the way the home button is put together in the inside as there's not too many tear down pics on the net that even show it. Just debating if this will be an issue down the road and needs to be returned before my 14 days are up.

Yes, I'm pretty anal about babying my phones. I'm not sure like I said if it should have a little rattle like that or if mine has a slight defect. I'm not wanting to exchange it, but, for what I paid for this phone I just don't want problems later on and have to deal with getting refurbs from assuron! That's why I was asking here to see if it's pretty much the norm. Thanks for the reply.

I bought mine around noon the day they came out, my button is still completely firm. Not sure how much relative abuse it has taken though. Seems pretty weird to me that it could be rattling, as it feels like it is a pretty solid fit. But maybe we will all be complaining about this soon enough.

I'm thinking now I may go ahead and go back to tmobile with it. It has me concerned since I've only had mine a week. Looking thru other sites it seems mine may be defective as everyone else is talking how solid theirs feel. Thanks for your reply.

REALLY?? Super glue? Damn!! I'm glad i don't have any issues with my phone.. Dude's got a legitimate question and that's the answer he gets? Kinda ****ed up... even if it was a joke.. i would take it back bro.. the phone wasn't cheap... sides i don't think t mobile has any refurbished ones yet.. so u should be ok.. i had to return my gs3 and i got a new one last week..

Ya, no way on the super glue! Lol. I ended up taking it back yesterday. I didn't want to take a chance of having to deal with it later. This one is firm like it should be. Thanks for the response.

I have seen/heard many things about the double-dip case for the HTC One (which I'm picking up next week!), however I am trying to find & buy the black/grey/black double dip case and can't find it anywhere! If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would me much appreciated.
Also, does it even exist/is it out yet? Almost everywhere I look I only see the red/white/black one, but on HTC's official site, the 4th picture accross shows the one I'm looking for.
Again, any help is appreciated.

I did read here on the forums that some people's phones were scratched because of it, but that the cause was remnant plastic from the speaker grill holes.
Also, I don't think it is too badly overpriced. Maybe by $5. Most of the other slim cases sell for around $20.

The HTC One itself does bear striking similarities (and I'm getting the black one, so even more so) to the iPhone 5 already, I don't really mind that. After all, everyone tries to copy the iphone in some way or another. Just look at Samsung. Plus, the case is basically the same as the back of the phone itself. Just a little added protection .
I have double dip case and it hasn't scratched my phone. Picking up the case-mate tough case to go with all the others I have. It's an addiction!

Is Black/Grey/Black Double Dip case no longer available ?
I have the black body with grey top and bottom speaker grills also black top and bottom speaker grills
This way you can have black black black or grey black grey combination

I have the double dip, and as long as your careful it won't scratch your phone
It's a super tight fit so make sure your screen protector is thin (if you have one) and NO SKINS

I haven't seen all the colors from the official HTC site so I was the wondering what the build quality is.

So I bought the grey/black one from that seller. Build quality seems solid. I have never played around with the red/black/grey one so I can't compare.
Fit was snug but no scratches. Volume buttons are a bigger pain then without the case which says something since they already weren't that great. Everything else seems pretty good. I like that it doesn't add much bulk to the phone.
Won the auction on the 19th (Friday) and received the cover on the 30th (Tuesday). Not bad considering it was an international delivery.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Never installed wood grain back and sides. Will only ship in the US.

As strange as this sounds the skin I sent out was returned to me. I'm a little disturbed by this considering I sent it parcel post over 4 months ago. The reason for return as per the USPS, "insufficient postage". Obviously it's my fault for not actually having it weighed, but I would like to keep my promise and resend it. So, rice-CHRISpies, if you are still out there, please let me know if you still have a nexus 5. And, if so, do you still need it?

got mine yesterday, Im using a spigen ultra thin transparent and it look great with it. And no scratches on the screen like a bogus thread someone started here, my cousing got his and no scratches either.

lol bogus? i wish. this issue is the main reason im dragging my feet until they are released in stores. i WILL be that guy who will have them open each box and inspect the screen before leaving the store. Im usually not that guy, but i will not accept a pre scratched device when i do my best to keep my screen flawless for a year.
