Matte screen protector - One (M7) Accessories

Does anyone know a good one?. I see a lit for very little but I can't find any reviews. I don't like the feeling I something wget when I slide my finger across the screen and it has a ridiculous amount of friction

I don't know if you like to dig into facts most of the screen protectors come for some factory and are exactly the same even with variable prices from sellers on ebay and amazon. Buy cheapest one and expensive one. Test it out and realise.
American consumers look at price tags, many will recommend steinheil, ghost armor and all those , and when u end up buying a 50c one and compare, u will be surprised.

On amazon look for tech armor anti glare + anti fingerprint matte protector that's what I use and it's amazing, comes with 3 and is like 6 bucks on amazon
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta

I also use the Tech Armor anti-glare and absolutely love them, and cheap too!! The company also stands very well behind their product.

I'm using atfolix since years on my smartphones and they were always pretty nice. They are very easy to attach plus they live really long.

I got the Tech Armor Anti-Glare ones from Amazon too. They work amazingly and haven't changed the first one out since I got the phone on release.

Same here. I have to agree that there is definitely some grainyness but it doesn't show unless you are looking at solid light colors. Doesnt show in movies or games. Etc.

What about matte front and back shields, any suggestions for those?

Thanks you very much news, I think Samsung mobile phone accessories, screen protector is very good, very clear, and does not give Lewis a bad cell phone traces remain under the protection membrane cleaning can still continue to use the , is a very good accessoriesz

amFilm makes some good and cheap units that you can get on Amazon, so I'd recommend you take a look. I think it's $5 or so for three.

Are you kidding otterbox ???

$100 for the armor case? Seriously? The lifeproof is a proven design and only cost around $80, where does otterbox get $100? IMO it also is a little ugly, although it looks better than the seidio.

The seidio obex ( life proof case ) not as good people make it out to be... my friend has had three of them. And had to replace his phone twice because of that seidio. Btw the seidio not good up to 6 ft. Only about 4 ft any deeper it starts leaking because of the pressure. Imo id take the otter box hands down all models to commuter defender armor case
Also have you checked ebay or amazon for cheaper prices ?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s3
I think it's a reasonable price when you take into consideration that the Seidio''s Obex case is priced at $80. I'm sure Lifeproof will have theirs priced in the same ballpark. I'm really looking into buying a waterproof case. If Lifeproof doesn't at least post a picture of their case up soon I'll be buying Otterbox when it's released. Otterbox has proven itself time and time again and their customer service is second to none.
Seems fair, when the LifeProof first came out for the Iphone it was 90..if LifeProof keeps taking their time I'll go with the otterbox, have a defender and love it..

Kinda funny love my defender to but see a lot of people hating it as well have no idea why ... when armor is released ill most likely get that to

Seems fair. But no way would I pay 100 bux for a case. Just my personal opinion. Hell the most ive spent is 30 for a case and that would be max for me. But I guess that case does pay off in the long run

OtterBox make very good cases. Had one for every phone I had. This ones is expensive but I will trust them if to need so extreme protection.
$100 is alot but what bother me is the timing, They been teasing us for like a month now and they announce it yesterday thinking that it will go on-sale today for next week but no, we have to wait another 3 months. By that time we will be debating on should we get the Galaxy S4

Yeah but the defender doesn't cost $100. The other thing I can't wait to find out is if they used the same Defender-type screen on the armor. The defenders screen protector is IMO basically useless, I don't know how any of you can use it. I don't know if it's due to the type of screen the s3 uses but the defender for iphone is pretty nice, the screen protector doesn't degrade the screen quality much if at all. If any of you have never seen the s3 inside a defender, the screen protector makes nice little star bursts all over your entire screen, it's terrible!

I guess it's the name they charge you for. Even with the MSRP being $100, it'll sell for less.

Actually I hope they use the same material to make the screen protector as the defender, I bought the seidio waterproof and the screen protector was horrible, I couldn't even use swype , and in the defender, it might look bad but at least it doesn't affect the touch sensibility.

My defender made the screen very pixelated, kind of like looking through wet glass or something. You can't tell me you don't notice a major difference in screen quality??

Its a rainbow effect. Its from the plastic of the screen protector getting too much grease marks on it. I popped mine out because of that. Sucks though too because the case gets loose without the protector in.
The only material that's equal in both preserving look and sensitivity of the touchscreen is plexiglass. Ivyskin case company in new jersey uses it with their iPhone cases. Plexiglass is easy to shatter though unless its thicker.

These cases go for a fraction of their MSRP on Amazon. You can find the Defender for $20 instead of $50.

The defenders problem isn't the oils from your fingers, without touching it the screen still looks awful. As for materials, have you ever used a lifeproof case? The screen still looks great and sensitivity isn't affected at all. I don't know what they make it out of but I'm pretty sure it isn't plexiglass.

I have defender - if you wipe your phone, and your galaxy's screen with a rag (that comes with sun glasses). And the you wipe protective screen from inside and outside (but really good, to eliminate all microscopic dust particles - it will stay like this. Sure you better not to throw your phone in dusty places - will be ok.
And it's protective screen, not just a plastic. If you need something for beauty - buy thin cases and be happy If you love running at the morning/mountain biking/ and other sport/action - you will be happy with that case. And it's look great.
But what really annoying for me it's a power button is hardly pressed when in case. I have to push the button a little harder.
And at all - i love my case, purchased at eBay i got it for 30$ with delivery in 1 week (from Hong Kong, straight from the factory )
Just check eBay for Galaxy S3 Armor Series, may be there will be cheaper deal. I know some waterproof case, that cost a lot more (can't remember the brand).
But who d f need waterproof case? Seriously. I can swim without phone, it's ok

Fosmon screen protector- fit

I've read good reviews about the Fosmon Crystal Clear protector here, but on Amazon many reviews complain about it being too small. Can anyone using this confirm either way?

I think they might purposefully be cut short to accommodate for a case.
I was able to snatch a 3 pack for 2 dollars and what à steal!!! Cant be beat for the fit is fine. Its perhaps half a milimeter short in all directions.

Dry application.
They run a bit small, pretty much a full 1mm on each side. When I first put it on, I lined it up too close to one edge because u didn't realize how short it was in the other.
Using a tpu case, I found that parts of the edge could get pushed up by the lip of the case, reinstalling the screen protector square fixed this. You get used to it being short, even though I wish they gave just an extra mm height wise. The quality of the screen protector is good, clarity and feel are excellent, cleans easy enough, and I haven't picked up any scratches yet.
I actually ordered the supcase screen protectors that supposedly fit to 0.3mm, as well as the amfilm ones that are 50 cents shipped right now. I'll report my findings later.
I like it, it was inexpensive, it came with 3 which was good because I messed up the first application. It is very clear, a bit small but I guess that's for cases.

Yes, its that kind. Although these seem to be at least decent to high quality judging by the posts in the original thread I linked to.

Just fitted my protector, it feels rubbery and it drags your finger as you move it across the screen, i have only just fitted it, so i don't know if this will improve once it dry`s out but at the moment i think i will removing it.

Did you get the full-body or just the screen? I got the full-body, but only plan on putting on the back.... I absolutely hate that feeling on a touchscreen.
Quite a few on here have been using these for a few months....More user views.....
I only got the screen protector, i just took it off, it felt really horrible to move my finger around the screen, i have a strong flip case so hopefully my screen will be protected from scratches anyway.
You experience of the protector might be different to mine, give it a go.

I have this. Got it from a different seller. I actually ordered 2 for my phones. One of them is perfect. No issues, looks invisible once it's applied. The other has the same defect as the original batch or Spigen Glas.tR. Where it has a bubble in the lower right hand corner.
I contacted the seller and I'm awaiting a replacement.
Overall it's very nice, way smoother than any plastic PET film. The oleophobic coating isn't as good as the one on the GG3. It's more like the film on original GG (Takes a few more wipes on your pant leg to get rid of the finger prints). Overall for $7 I paid for mine I'm happy with it.
Should come with alcohol prep pad and lint free cloth. Instructions keep referencing Glas.tR. Its not a clone of the Glas.tR since it has cut outs for the camera and sensors.

Ghostek Nautical S8+

Anyone tried it yet? Going to do some water activities this weekend so snagged one on Amazon. Haven't had good luck with LifeProofs in the past. Have had Ghosteks Atomic before but for iPhone their charger cutout was horrendous. I guess for $35 if I get a weekends use out of it I'll be happy.
Anyone tried one of these ?

I can't speak on this particular case but I've found every Ghostek case I've tried to be of particularly low quality. Poorly finished edges, bad cutouts and subpar materials. I'd like for them to prove me wrong but their not getting any more of my money.

Good news, it fits nice with SlickWraps back wrap and Zagg Crystal Defense Screen Protector. Kind of tight but visually looks and appears to retain Water proofness. Can hear keyboard clicks and stuff well. Built in screen protector doesn't click or anything.
Best thing, NON Samsung Charger cables fit unlike on a lot of the waterproof cases @felloffthetruck.
