$0.99 MoKo Nexus 7 FHD Ultra Slim SmartCover - Nexus 7 (2013) Accessories

Just find a possible price mistake from Amazon. the Black color of MoKo Nexus 7 FHD Ultra Slim SmartCover is $0.99 while other colors are $5.99
both need to pay $4.98 for shipping
For $5.97 shipped. I do believe is a good deal for whatever quality from Amazon. And I did use MoKo for my Nexus 7 and iPad 3rd Gen, not bad.
Link :good:

I picked up a few colors today to maximize shipping. Moko has some decent prices on screen protectors for larger tablets. I got two for 6 bucks and I'm going to cut them down to fit my Nexus 7.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

It is a good price, but I don't think it is a price mistake. They have been constantly adjusting pricing on different models cases over the last few days.
The other case people were looking at went from $3.99 to $.99 to $.01 and now is back at $.99. This is also with the black color only.
I'm guessing they are just doing promotions to get as many of the early customers as they can.

I ordered 2 different MoKo cases 99 cents each. My order total on Amazon for the 2 cases and shipping was 8.45 but they took 40$ out of my bank account. I sent an email to the seller I'm not sure if I missed some fine print but that's shady.

Thanks, ordered a couple for me and the wife.
I really want something that works better with the wireless charging down the road, but for now, it's good to have something. Thanks!

did you find out why they took $40 instead of $8.45 from your bank account by chance? that sounds really shady.

I think this company is shady...the case is awesome.. I ordered one for my tab3 8.0 .. But as soon as I received it they went on a shopping spree with my card info... Luckily chase blocks that and was able to stop it but just be careful... As much as I want this case I'm not sure I want to deal with them again... On the $40 dollar charge I would advise your bank to not allow any more purchases until that gets resolved

Dang! I need to check my account. I bought a case from them a week ago or so.

If it is BSCstore you are talking about, all my purchases had the correct temporary auths on the credit card and the charges came from amazon rather than BSCstore. I don't know how it works with bank accounts.

I ordered them through Amazon and nothing happened, hope they are as good as their prices :x

Nope. They ignored my email apparently. I'll be canceling my order and contacting amazon later. Total garbage.

I'm not defending them because this will be my first purchase, but they have a 4.8/5 rating with almost 40k votes. Do you think it's possible you have malware on your computer that intercepted your financial info? We're the charges specifically done by them on your statement? You may have a broader issue.

Payment is managed by amazon only.. Its amazon who charges the card.. Store vendors do not have access to credit card information.. And even if something goes wrong customers are protected under amazon's A-Z guarantee.

There is nothing wrong with the seller.

Just an fyi for everyone. I was able to purchase 3 of their new nexus 7 cases (@99 cents a piece) for $11 shipped. Too good to pass up in my book. :good:

I emailed them asking them for a price adjustment since I bought at $3.99 and they said they would refund the $3 once the item ships and the initial charge goes through.

Anyone used this with the original nexus 7 how it is compares to poietic

I used the Moko on the original N7 and LOVE it. I still have my N7 along with my new N7 and ordered this case immediatly when I saw it was .99c. Also grabbed an orange one for 2.99. IMO, worth the cost. The only difference I see in the images is the little flap on the back of it for when you want to have it in the propped up position. The original didn't have that flap and I wish it did. Propping it up before wasn't very sturdy. I think it'll go over much better this way.

Genuine S3 Extended Battery Kit Review

After what seems like months of waiting I managed to get hold of a genuine Samsung Galaxy S3 extended battery kit today. The back cover feels better than the original. Here is the review
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBJUj-ZgpTo&feature=youtu.be
At least being genuine you know the extra 900mAh are really there.
Any questions or feedback are more than welcome

Amazon does that a lot. One time I ordered something and it said they would ship when it's back in stock. You'd assume that would be a couple days a week and then they would ship it. So 3 months later I asked them about the memory card I didn't get. They said I could wait or get a refund. LULZ AMAZON.
Just to report back on the first full charge I got 2 days medium use and still had 14% left as I put it on charge last night.
If you can kill one of these in a day then you need to use your phone less :silly:
Mine from Amazon is now reported as shipped but still on the SpaceX Dragon capsule. Re-entry scheduled between 3/28 - 4/10. I also heard from seller. Although in USA they launch from UK. Does give me a whole month for someone to develop and make armor for it.

Great question, I am curious myself. I think for now a bumper will work (as long as its flexible material), but curious about what others might be doing to protect the new back cover (god knows if you will ever be able to order a replacement from Samsung easily)

I've tried a walnutt bumper and it doesn't fit. I tried that bumper with a metal replacement back and it fitted so this extended battery is going to need specially designed cases. Shame as it's took so long to come out and manufacturers will be thinking about the s4
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Anyone that HAS this battery how much more hours does this battery offer to the phone at idle and at talking time?
Is there any flip case that can fir this extend 3000mah battery for s3?
And that battery is for i9300 & i9305 or it has different battery's?
Got my genuine battery from Amazon today. It was a third party Amazon fulfillment seller.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BMQ56QE/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=pe_175190_21431760_M3T1_ST1_dp_1
I'm not sure if it was new and genuine though, the packaging looked tampered with and there is no water damage sticker. I will report back on battery life though. My own math days the battery should last about 25 percent longer given the 900 mah size increase.
The plus is its not ugly like the other extended batteries, looks like a slightly thicker s3, almost like it was designed to be this way.

Or is there an extended battery that is better than the 2100mAh, that doesn't need the special backing?
Thanks

I havent seen the extended battery in any other colours besides pebble blue and marble white yet, im looking for the titanium grey myself..im using the white cover right now :/
take look here for better batteries that do fit the normal backcover
I got one 2 weeks ago at Samsung store for 49.90 $.
My mobile is grey so I bought the new cover in black.
With the same usage the 3000 mah battery gives me about 20 hours life, the stock battery about 12.
Charging time 4 hours(stock kernel).

Official Google Bumpers

Hey guys, have you noticed, Google is a bit lazy this year. I still haven't seen sign of official bumpers on the play store and my phone won't last more enough without a case. Anyone knows when will they be released? I mean come on, it's been two weeks Google. Hurry.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah, they were supposed to release the official charger according to several sites as well. I wonder what the deal is!
I'm in the same dilemma too . I'm tempted to buy another case , since i'm scared i might drop my phone, Hope it comes out soon.
Google wants people to break their Nexus 5 so they will buy another Nexus 5
I'm really getting sick and tired of the supply problems with Google... Every single device that they release has supply issues and accessories are even worse. How hard can it be to make more devices for launch and have the official accessories ready to purchase at launch?!
They hype their products and "leak" details to get people interested and then don't produce. It's very frustrating. Anybody should be able to buy a nexus 5 or any accessories at launch and have it ship the next day.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
For $35, there are better cases to spend your money on.
They released it for a few minutes on N5's release day, a few people bought and got them, they haven't put it up since then
The official Google bumpers are terrible. They're bulky and they feel cheap. Not to mention they're not truly bumpers since they cover the back. I really don't recommend them.
I would not be surprised if they are working on a real bumper to replace the one they have now.....something like the N4 bumper would be nice
I liked my friends a lot so I ordered one of eBay a few days back will post a mini review once it arrives in the next few days

I just got mine from eBay and actually really like it. Fits awesome and feels really nice. It had kind of a weird back slope on the side of the case but it's still feels good in hand. Is it worth $35? Certainly not, but if you don't mind paying a little extra I think it's nice.

I went to buy a Skip last night because the price came down even more, and almost canceled because of the $10 shipping, which I could have sworn was not as high when I checked days before....then I saw somewhere on the right hand side of the screen (I think) a drop-down thing that gave me 2 options for shipping....the faster $10 or so one, and a slower $4.00 one, which I did, and placed the order.

FastTech selling TPU cases for $1.75

Not sure if anyone knows about this site. It's like going to ChinaTown of your local major city and buying goods from their market. It's rebranded, backdoor manufacturing, knockoff, products that didn't meet the tolerances, type of things. I saw some GNex phones on there a week ago or so. There is a ton of stuff that is legit on there, but at super huge discounts to what you pay anywhere else.
Here's another forum I'm on and what they have to say about the site. Most of the problems come from looooong shipping times. You have about 10 different shipping options. Can take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks. 8 and it got lost in customs or stolen off the truck. But they will ship you another or refund you if that happens. Most of the problems we have with ecigs are batteries. Most of the time they get taken in customs before even leaving China. When that happens, FT gives you two choices, refund or attempt again.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...30819-fasttech-thread-all-fasttech-posts.html
I don't see any problems with customs and an unbranded TPU case. I don't mind waiting a couple weeks for it to come in the mail. So I picked up 3 of these. One in black, white and blue.

iOttie Easy Flex Wireless Qi Car Mount

Looks like iOttie is taking reservations for their Qi car mount. Spoiler alert: It's $80.
http://www.iottie.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=1058&ProductType=321
I was hoping for a $40-50 price point. So, yeah, I'm a little disappointed.
Yeah $80 is way too high especially when you can get more "Premium" Chinese Qi Car docks for about $45. I figured the price was going to be more than we requested when the "Rep" that had the iOttie post suddenly went silent. $50 was just the high end of Purchasable range. $80 is high even if there were NO other options on the market. Heck the OwlPad sold for LESS than that much when it came out...over a year ago. So yeah makes me feel the company is trying to fleece the N5 owners.
Hey guys,
We did not go quiet on the postings - we were just advised from XDA moderators that that kind of posting is not permitted within the forums.
We do appreciate the constructive feedback with regards to our product & pricing. We will pass that information onto our management team for more detailed review.
I would buy it for around $40-50 but definitely not at $80.
80? This is why I've refused to buy the tylt vu. I have zero problem shelling out cash for accessories but that's ridiculous.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
80? Probably cost 15 to make at those quantities. I'll pass, thanks.
the air dock is better than this, and it costs less at $69, but even that's still way too expensive for this kind of thing. $80 is just ridiculous.
We are actually giving away a Nexus 5 and some Easy Flex Wireless mounts on Facebook today - be sure to check it out.
Also, the price you guys see is MSRP - but the MAP price that it will be sold at on Amazon and other resellers is $69.95.

$70 with that 20% off offering that you all are sharing via Facebook if you sign up for the contest is pretty solid considering how much everyone likes the car mounts.

yeah the retail price isn't what it'll be on amazon. Funny I wrote in to them when I first got my nexus 5 asking if they were making one. Glad to see they did.
I'm curious on final price. Been using their mounts for awhile and find it pretty good.
I do have 2 of the indiegogo airdocks coming though. Which in the end is a better solution if it works.
Looks nice to me, I'd be all over it.

The contest says it ends the 47th of April? I tried to enter but apparently it's closed already.
Curious, I see that people are upset at spending $80 for a modern and functional mount that also wirelessly charges your phone. I think it looks awesome and I would totally buy it, but I'm curious, what other alternatives exist?

Other than the Air Dock which was a Kickstarter but now goes for $69 now and the OwlPad which has been out for OVER a year which sells for $57. There are others on Amazon and Aliexpress from $35-50 depending on quality. $80 for a plain old QI charger is just over priced. For $69 at least the Airdock has the Magnets for the N5 included in the design.
One thing to consider with a wireless charger dock for the car is how much flexibility in positioning it offers, cause most of the time, you'll probably need to put it where it can get some direct air conditioning. This Easy Flex Wireless, if it's like the Easy Flex 3, can be rotated 360° and put the phone hanging in front of the vents of my car.
Does anyone know if this will work with case on. I would get it but I wanna know if can have a case on my nexus and it will still work. If you know the answer please let me know. Thanks

It does, like any other Qi charger. IIRC Qi can do something like half an inch distance. In any case, it should be fine for any cases that are not battery cases or metal ones.
Not bad, but bouncy....
I pre-prdered this dock using the Facebook coupon, and it arrived over the weekend. I tried it out in the hopes that it would not exhibit the bounciness that the other wireless charging dock I ordered had.
I used my phone, both with and without it's TPU case (my phone is an LG G2) in this dock and on all but the smoothest of roads (I live in Michigan, so "smooth road" is almost an oxymoron) the bounce is very noticeable. There is just too much flex in the arm of the dock.
I have written to them via their facebook page in hopes that I receive a reply and hopefully a solution.
The pricing is now $69.95 on amazon

I have one and it doesn't charge with my case off. It will with case off. Maybe I should have it replaced
