7. Let it boot past the initial setup(without no wifi).
8. Then goto to recovery and flash below kernel

The wifi appears to be non-functional. It will not activate during the initial setup wizard. The wifi button on the dock would not turn it on either. I worked through the setup wizard and tried turning on other transmitters. The bluetooth works, the GPS works, but the wifi will not turn on. It doesn't even show an icon in the tray next to the battery indicators.

I dont have any issues with wifi
Is your wifi using WEP ?
I wud suggest u to change it to WPA and then try. AOSP does have issues with WEP.

na, when wifi trys to turn on, doesn't initiate then turns off I think a kernel module for wifi may be broken, btw I have wpa on my wifi

I did 4 full wipe... maybe you just had a bad upload, since all is working for you (and I am on 4.2 bl)
Yes the problem is not with connection but the WiFi module itself. For me WiFi does not even turn on.
OK guys iam pulling the link down as lot of users are reporting the same.

Hoping someone can tell me what I missed or how to fix. Nexus S isnt GSM. It will get connection but you have to hit Choose Automatically a few times. Looking for a fix or solution .
You could try to port CM10 :fingers-crossed:

Is this MAGLDR or a clk ROM? I flashed it just now to my HD2 just to try it out but it is stuck on the HTC screen. I am using clk and I also flashed the libhtc_ril_wrapper_0.8b4_CWR.zip but it still is not booting. I know this is based off of smokin901 port but it does not say in his ROM thread either if it is clk or MAGLDR. I am going to use the HD2 NAND Toolkit to repartition just in case that is the issue although clk 1.5 is suppose to do all the partitioning for you. But I will have to boot into Windows for that as I am using Ubuntu right now to do a repo.
The problem is that you're using the nexus s version, and it isn't gsm.

It was @the op. I was addressing his data problem. I should have quoted him, my bad.
EDIT: Your problem is probably(?) related to low space in /system. Try repartitioning cLK using the nand toolkit and use 300 mb this time. You might have bad blocks so you have to keep trying till you get there.

I have used alidsd's aokp port for a while. Then he discontinued it, when the camera was fixed I decided to compile latest aokp with arco's configs. Now it works as it needs to, so I share it.

Which device did u used to port this build? When i worked on porting this i got a strange bug.the phone will reboot every time it's locked.any suggestion how to solve this?

I used Xperia Ray for porting...
I didn't get such errors..
And I used the xylographs's+tytung's base..

I am getting this bug since pac 18 so i ceased working on it.been racking my brains but couldn't solve it.anyways thanks for this build.If u permit may i use this as a base for my C.A.M.P.S rom?

Btw dont forget the Settings>storage FC bug..
I'll work on it in next release
copied "paranoidpreferences.apk" in rom before installing, it's there but i can't change in-app density, the slider stays at zero and doesn't react.
i used the .apk from Xylo's pacman 1.2
btw, all sliders don't work

But the framework still support it, so if you still want to use PA settings, then get it somewhere else & use it at your own responsibility.
Do not put a link to ParanoidPreferences,apk in this thread !!! do it somewhere else"
you really shouldnt ask for help in here out of respect to the PA team who I'm sure have their good reasons for not wanting their software used.

I guess people will complain about this issue if it really exists and is unsolvable because without pa preferences working many of the apps will stay in tablet mode by default which i guess some user's don't like

but i have little problem with data connection and battery drain..
i have to reboot my phone several times to access to the network .. use clk and select ppp connection on aroma..
when i use the phone with normal apps like sms or call my battery drains is too much rather than other android 4 roms.. i don't know how to fix this..

Strange...
I have no data drops..
And battery is pretty good for me...
Will try one whole day with normal use again....

I wouldn't say better, cause (a)I'm not an expert and (b)I haven't tried tweakos_t6, but you could check out tytung's kernel. Just a suggestion...but if you do use it, please change MSM_MAX_PARTITIONS from 11 to a larger number(i.e. 20) before compiling.
Also to make it cLK compatible, you just need to add some files for ppp network and set rild properties correctly.
If you download an existing rom from this forum, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Love the rom. The notification is really just like cm 10.1 , The only problem is the screen time out it is just like jellybean for the hd2 you have to check no animation for it to quickly shut off. but besides that I love all the new features the lock screen is really cool. Since you incorparated alot of ics and jellybean would it be possible to intergrate the lockscreen widgets like cm 10.1? this is so great how you took gingerbread a step further.

Cant download the kernel and one thing this doesnt have Gapps. On another note i took xylographs port of your build and deleted the apps,framework and media than copied all your files in the system folder and voila your build on clk after a long bootanimation and pulling battery and it booted up into the build.

i NEVER put gapps in all cmx build, just flash gapps for gingerbread
for CLK, never use it, so im only build for magldr only,
feel free to port this into CLK or NativeSD

Just a comment, the network signal on status bar is kinda blurred.
I want to know how does a2sd on this rom works. I've installed it and set apps to daownload to ext but my internal memory keeps going down. I mean it shows only the real internal memory and not SD ext as internal. Do I have to manually check every app to move to SD on app management menu? Just asking, pardon the ignorance.

Nice experience, I like it!
I miss the full functionality of the keyboard, like the Fn key, the brightness controlls and so on. And another thing, there is a small blue thingy -->
(screenshot). It does not want to go away.
Apart from these, a good ROM overall
Thanks for all the ports you are bringing in. Once I rebooted on this the wifi no longer connects. I'm on 4.2 bl and did fresh install. I'm guessing maybe it's the same problem with the pa rom (kernel) since those issues were reported there? Really love loook and feel of rom so hopefully it can get fixed unless I'm only one experiencing this!

Autorotate not working is already in bugs list. Chk OP
For floating mode :
Click on recents button.
Once apps opens up. Longpress one of them.

I don't know how the monicker came about, but floating window doesn't allow you to resize or move it. Its just that u get a small window of app.
Whenever major changes are committed, I will surely update the Roms I have been building, both for my droid DNA and tf300t.
Lastly I don't build PAC, my friend gchild does
