Thanks, but right away I noticed a new splash screen before the Samsung one that just says "SFR" in red with a solid white background. It's pretty ugly. Can you tell me in which folder in the zip to remove that is so I can take it out before I even install? Thanks.

[ROM][12/8]Stock L900VPALK8 - Odex and Deodex - UPDATED AGAIN

Hi guys, here are odex and deodex versions of LK8. Please follow the guide below for the best way to get onto LK8.
Odin to LJC (need to go back to completely stock for OTA updates)
Apply the update.zip to LK8 via stock recovery
Install TWRP (Use the Odin method, otherwise you will have to us CF Auto-Root and take extra steps)
Reboot to recovery and flash one of the LK8 .zips from here
This method assures you get onto the latest radio, as well as having the latest firmware.
Note: You may be able to do this via a one click LJC package, but I have not tested this. If this works, start at step 3.
Note: You may be able to just flash one of these .zips and apply the updates manually, but again, I have not tested this either.
Changlog from LJC:
Waking with home button no longer exits the foreground app

None

S Note Crash Fix <-- Applied to any build (odex or deodex) flashed before 12/8 @ 2AM EST
There are only a few slight changes made to this over stock...
boot.img has modified for init.d support
enabled mock locations
enabled USB Debugging
unsecured kernel and swapped /sbin/adbd with one from the Galaxy Nexus (allows /system remount)
removed /system/etc/install-recovery.sh (not needed)
removed /system/etc/security/otacerts.zip (prevents nagging OTA message that won't apply on a rooted system anyway)
CSC files from LJC (removed non-Sprint CSC files as well)

Just wondering if there is any advantages over the [ROM][STOCK][4.1.2][T889] XXDLL7 from 1/9?
The 4.1.2 image seemed to cure alot of Gremlins in the stock 4.1.1 image especially in regards to BT stability. Is this 4.1.1 image any better?

For the most part, this is just a stock ROM of what came out today from Samsung to fix the Exynos security bug. If you are currently using the 4.1.2 ROM, I'd suggest sticking with it as this ROM would be a fall back really.

So if this release is only made to fix the exynos exploit which allows apps to gain root access without permission, which cant happen if you are rooted with SU correct? Just dont feel like having to debloat and flash mods again if its really not worth the effort.

Exynos exploit is a kernel exploit. Nothing to do with being rooted or having su. Only way you can be safe is having a custom kernel which has the exploit fixed or by using this rom.
This is pretty awesome thanks a bunch! Is there anyway to get "any app multiwindow" working on this? Thanks again.

Awesome thanks for the reply. I don't use wifi calling so I'm probably gonna try that one out. Where can I find directions on implementing any app in multiwindow? All I can find is roms that come with it baked in, but I'm really happy with stock and don't wanna lose all my data. Thanks!

[ROM]Team Kernelizers: Stock JB MA4 De-odexed 4.1.2

Hey everyone this was my first time trying to deodex a rom and i was finally able to boot it. Anyways this is based on the leak that was provided to us by Sextape. I used Cygwin to deodex the rom and sign it.
Anyways the important stuff is that this is the first De-odexed MA4 so far that I have seen.
One problem is that it install, but when you reboot the system it will hang at the Samsung Screen (so its a problem with the stock kernel), so to get it to boot make sure you have a secondary kernel downloaded such as: Agat, Anthax, or Ktoonz and install it after you install the zip.
I am going to fix the kernel thing in the morning. For now I am tired. Good day everyone.
The ROM included Root, Superuser, Zip-aligned APK's, and De-odexed System and APK's
This rom does not have Multi View. It is the 4.1.2 update from Sprint.
Warning: I am not responisible for anything that happens to your phone; whether it blows up in your face or gets bricked

1. Download Rom

This is because, once the update.zip is applied and you have stock unrooted MC2, in order to gain root you have to install the latest insecure boot.img which just happens to be MA7 and NOT MC2. Once I extract or find the full MC2 kernel I will release them publicly.

By using the latest insecure boot(MA7), what would we lose?
Thanks for everything!
So this is safe to flash, if rooted and on Stock MA7, and not loose root, or use Root Keeper prior then take, or flash OTA and re apply root keeper again ??

[MOD|NABD|DeOdex] CRT Animations (CRT OFF/Fade ON) *2/25/14*

Here's a little mod that will give you CRT animations on MJ4 based ROMs. This mod also includes signature verification disabled as well as memory tweaks, 'unlocked' tethering, and replaces the services.jar file in /system/framework/
This mod will modify your build.prop to include two new values
persist.sys.screen_on=fade
persist.sys.screen_off=crt
Simply change them to your liking, or set them to "none" to go back to normal screen on/off functions.
Credit goes to this thread where I ported it to work with the Note 3.
This early port has a glitch that will only allow one side of the screen to show CRT effects in landscape. i.e. If your phone is in landscape when the display turns off, CRT animation will only appear on one side. This does not affect the phone's stability and is simply cosmetic. It works fine in portrait mode.
Flash on a DeOdex ROM.
