You will not lose warranty as far as I know
There is no danger and no anything
And plz if u are going to apply a new protector, get it applied from the person you buy it from, it is very hard to do without getting air bubbles
And also federico rotundi said JK, it means just kidding

DON'T REMOVE IT!! I removed it when i buy the phone, after a few months my phone started to reboot occasionally, now i have to pay 150 $ to fix it, because i have removed that screen protector.. JK

No
There is no risk of anything
Its just that if u take the protector off, your actual screen may get scratches
So it is good to put a new protector on
Now putting the new protector on is hard because you might get air bubbles inside it which will look bad
But there is no harm to your phone in any way

If the screen protector then just go ahead and peel it off
If touch screen then warranty will be void and do not do it urself

I haven't heard of a pre installed screen protector on the AT&T Ion. Is it similar to a Zagg or best skins ever one or just thin sticker film?

I've changed my mind on wanting to remove the screen protector. Seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth, and like you said, it's hardly noticeable.
Removed my screen protector and I am really happy. It was slightly beat up and I dislike screen protectors on my phones. It was put on extremely well.
The screen and capacitive buttons seem more responsive and I prefer the feel of glass.

Can I fix the scratches on my phone?

Bought my phone yesterday at BestBuy....I let my friend borrow it and she scrtched with her bag....a small scratch on the left side....ohhhhh myyy goossshhh I feel so horrible now....anyway to fix it?

The side where? On the screen, the front bezel, the battery cover?? If its on the case of the phone somewhere i suppose you could find replacement parts online and swap all the internals if you were so inclined. If the screen itself is scratched, other than some hair brained schemes like blow torches and sand paper i would say you are stuck with the scratch. The good news is a decent screen protector film should disguise anything other than a major disfiguring.

I worked at Best Buy. If you are within 30 days they will probably take it back. Also, Black Tie is a protection plan that covers everything but lost and stolen. I will be sure not to help out in this thread any more though.

I had people bring back phones that had water damage. Half our managers would say take it back and the other half would think about it and then may or may not do it. If he just got it yesterday he could reason that it was too easy to scratch since it is supposed to have gorilla glass. I've returned more with less reason because the customer was nice.

You don't really have to do either one, but if you are trying to swap it in store I would, and you have to have a reason other than the scratch. If you are using GSBTP you need to break something on it so they'll send it off. If you use GSBTP you don't need to unroot because that doesn't matter.

Find a less clumsy friend.
Clumsy people can be a pain
would it be bad if you just swap it out saying you actually want the blue one but buy the screen protector to hide the scratch, and then a couple days later just go back and switch to a new white one saying you actually preferred the white one to the blue one?
Get Ghost Armor installed on it. It will fill in the scratch and protect it from now on.

How to remove chrome from the bezel?

The bezel is actually the back housing after removing the battery cover and the 11 screws after which u can scratch off the chrome part without damaging yr screen, but u will not like the looks of yr SGN2, cos my buddy did it on his note 1. U will end up with a scratchy plastic bezel:laugh::laugh:.U will be better off buying the OEM part which should cost less than $30 and u ve a brand new looking phone.
Funny how it easily falls off by itself but when u try to remove it it can be a *****
You could try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZuYzQrIHjA

[Q] Dust inside the touch screen

Hello Optimus G Pro fans,
I read somewhere that the reason why Apple decided to glue the LCD and digitizer is to prevent dust from entering the screen.
Since the Optimus G Pro's LCD are not glued to the digitizer, this could theoretically prone for dust accumulation inside the touch screen.
To prove my theory is wrong, I am asking you, Guys,
In real life, Has anyone notice a dust inside the touch screen after 6 months to 10 months of use ?
After one month i already got 2 spost in the top left corner, right next to the programmable 'quick' button.
I think it's not sealed well next to the button so dust could enter. You can only see it in bright daylight and the 2 dots seem to have trails to
Is this a reason to contact the lg service center? After 4 months of daily usage it has zero scratches on the screen (and on the phone to) i handle it with extreme care. I never used a screenprotector or a phone case or something.
I'll see if i can make a picture today or tomorrrow.
I have it also on the right top, but its very small and you cant see it so easy.
