this is my ROM, it is especially for people who love to have lots of processes running...like me
So the ROM offers lots of free RAM for YOU TO USE. The ROM is very smooth and fast, even when lots of apps are running.
It is based on Sony's NEW Stock ROM 6.2.B.1.96 . The ROM will work 100%. Since the latest major update, IT IS BUG FREE.

Why should you flash my ROM?
I know what it says in most ROMs: flash it because its smooth and fast.
Well..my ROM has all unused bloatware removed and almost 400mb of free ram (380mb).
It is not only deodexed, it is zipaligned as well.

HOW TO INSTALL
Requirements:
ROOT
CWM
A stock based kernel is recommended, however some non-stock work just as fine but might cause more battery drain.
If you come from previous husixperia versions do a full wipe and then restore data by advanced restore in CWM. If you need any help with that please do not hesitate to contact me.
Install Instructions for locked Bootloader:
1.Reoot into recovery
2.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3.Wipe Cache partition and Dalvik Cache
4.Install the ROM
Install Instructions for unlocked Bootloader:
1.Reboot into recovery
2.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3.Wipe Cache partition and Dalvik Cache
4.Install the ROM
(Optional) if you want stock kernel:
5.Turn Phone off and boot into into flash mode
6.Flash attached 6.2.B.1.96 kernel (Stock Kernel) via flashtool, download kernel from here: http://d-h.st/o0M
For unlocked bootloaders: This will NOT rewrite your kernel, except if you flash the optional (stock kernel)
Please make a backup before you install in case anything goes wrong.

Yeah it works 100%..just tested it. However , it will say in the menu Bravia Engine, I didn't manage to change this, because I couldn't find the file yet...

wifi problem
Hi, i´m from Brazil and i´m having a wifi issue. it keeps trying to activate the wifi but it doesnt even show any mac adress in advanced mode....
i´m trying to find anything about it searching the forum and google but didn´t find anything releated, so maybe i think it can be a ROM issue....
The ROM is really really fast and i wish you could maybe solve this so i could enjoy it too... ! :good:

is it possible to make this rom use .mtz for themes? If you can do this then this rom will ve super awesome....
And a drag down notification bar with toggles will be nicer..

You can get the toggles in the dropdown notifications depending on which UI you select during installation. Moded Sys UI with toggles, Xperia T Sys UI, and the JB Sys UI all have the toggles. If you want an extensive set of toggles, go for the JB Sys UI.
I'm currently using the Xperia T UI mainly because I love the Small Apps. I only ever use the calculator but it's been such a hugely convenient tool. being able to use the calculator on top of another app. So cool.

good choice
This rom is not Evil fast just a lite faster than stock (if you keep the loader locked)
Bootery is good for 1 day with wifi and data sync without extra use (like plying musique or playing game )

HI Pim, when i install your rom. it's stop in AROMA installer very long time. I cant wait and shutdown my phone. But when turn on, in system say my phone rom is 6.1.2.50_by_Pims83. I dont know its wright or wrong.

Hey thanks but i am going to unlock the bootloader and customize as much as possible. I have an arc s which i have modded out. Will 'pimp my rom' do much for speed increase with this phone? Also do you know where i can find AOSP lock screens and such for this phone? The themes and apps forum is in a mess with all the other xperias.
A couple of days ago, I decided to unlock my BL to try out the AOKP and CM ROMs. I've been so used to using A modded stock Sony ROM that I decided to try something closer to it. So now, I'm using Erachter ROM (for now)
I'm looking forward to trying out the next versions of Pims' ROM.

Stock rom 6.1.A.2.45
Hi,
I got really excited when I found this rom but I got one question though.
I got stock Rom version 6.1.A.2.45 and there is no more update available in Sweden, can I still flash your rom?
Because in the instructions you write "- Your Phone must be under a 6.1.A.2.50 ROM" and I cant really interpret that sentence fully.

Great ROM, but some questions
Thanx for this great ROM. I'm using it for 3 days and really enjoying.
But I have some small issues, can someone help me?
1) How to enable live wallpapers?
I can't use any Live walls and even can't see or select it.
2) How to make status bar less transparent?
I like it, but too transparent, not comfort for everyday using.
3) How to disable wiping Dalvik cache after each reboot? App cache rebuilding after each reboot.
It uses too much time for just reboot my phone and I prefer to wipe Dalvik cache manually when I need it.

I want to try this rom. I run cm9 at the moment, when i install this rom from recovery of cm9/cm10, then it boots as far as the xperia bootscreen, and gets stuck there.

Unlock your bootloader if you've not already.. Install DooMLord's recovery(CWM).. Reboot and go to CWM, wipe data, cache and dalvik cache. Go to mounts and storage and format data,cache,system.. Then flash the zip.. Reboot..

Got it !!!
Small apps zip *have to* be installed after the first rom boot. Until that it fails to boot.
No kernel installed here so if you come from a Sony based rom it may failed (I was previously on CM10.1 with kernel755 so no problem for me here).
At first look rom seems a great mix between Sony and CM stuff ! :good:

No kernel installed here so if you come from a Sony based rom it may failed (I was previously on CM10.1 with kernel755 so no problem for me here).

This one is 100% international and had a working camera (I don't try really it but it starts and 1080p is available).

It's too short to give a freedback but it's a CM based rom so it's smooth and some stuff may not work properly : FM radio and hdmi (don't try these but it may fail).
About kernel, there're few : kernel755, raymanFX and CM10.1. I'm using kernel755 for a long time on opensemc and it worked great so I stay on it with this rom.

I return to opensemc/CM-10.1 but have a backup of this rom so if I've got some time I try hdmi until I'm pretty sure it will fail cause it mainly depends on kernel.
Location doesn't seems to work : gps is fine but network location don't and some widgets/apps needs it.
If there's a kernel missing in zip file, I'll try it again cause this rom is smooth and had some good features : walkman is great, camera app is a way better than stock CM and starts quickly, small apps are funny (I don't use them); Sony launcher is present too with it's dedicated widgets (I don't like the launcher but widgets are nice, it's a pain they're only available with it).
It misses some things too : long press volume to skip track, CM themes (but systemUI and framework are pretty nice) and some others things doesn't work (but they're not in CM, maybe a Sony framework residue).
But it is definitly a good rom needing some little fixes.

What I think is also needed are (if themed) : notification bar, sms apps, phone/contact apps, lockscreen.
Kernel doesn't install after flashing, WiFi not working even after flashing fix and supers giving errors.

Could not enter recovery, had to update/install busybox, then cwm, and camcorder has bad lag. That's as far as I got, had to restore my backup. I'll test again later.

We the members of XDA that build roms/mods and
call it whatever you want etc, appriciate if people press the thanks

know that XDA is not a site to make mony or anything similar,

from the scratch till the day till now and further.

There is no v1 only v2.0 of this rom.

@Pandemic Hey, I just flashed your rom but after reboot phone doesn't boot up (Doesn't show Sony logo). I checked with flashtool, I think Z's Kernel is in the flashing zip?
I trye flashing the 283 stock kernel with flashtool, then the phone boots up
btw Im on LB phone

ooh oke thanks for that tip then i forgot to replace it with the kernel for the Xperia ZL, i will fix it today so no worries, but all is running fine buddy ?

No worries man. After flashing .283 ZL when the phone boot up, I had constant Walkman force closing and also Brightness was on high level. I couldn't change the brightness level unfortunately.
So I restored my backup for now Thank you for all hard work

For brightness to work correctly you need to flash Brightness Fix here: http://d-h.st/3Tt

Fixed, file says Brightness Fix 4.4.2 but it doesn't matter, it works, is the same I flash on my XZL to fix brightness issues from custom ROMs

It keeps saying that something went wrong with updater script and fails to install ROM.

Mount also system in recovery ?
try with twrp recovery and wait till next week, i make an V3.0/Rom for ZL like for Z with fixes
so be patient

Check the fonts thread by @Metallijim
Ifonts change not all the fonts like walkman, lockscreen etc !

Flash this rom with recovery and then the .283 kernel for 4.4.4 with flashtool and boot up, i bring v3.0 to ZL also this week like i did for XZ earlier !
