Please help!!! Phone keeps restarting

I'm new to this phone stuff and I tried downloading Valhalla v1.3 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1203591 from recovery mode and my phone rebooted, and now it keeps restarting over and over. I have access to download and recovery mode only. I don't know any ROM or flash business so please help.
I just realized that i tried to download a galaxy 4g theme on my tmobile galaxy s2

if you did a nand back up and your able to go to the recovery mode flash your back up image in other terms if you backed up your rom do a restore.

if its still booting u have a chance to save it

boot into recovery, plug your phone in with your usb cable to your computer, under recovery go to mounts and storage, select mount usb storage, once your compter detects it, drag and drop the rom to the root of your sd, go back disconect the phone, go advance reboot recovery, and now wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik, install zip from sd card and select the rom

My sdcard's memory is too low lol. But got one coming in with 8 gb. So i'll try it with that.
Can you tell me the difference between a brick and boot loop?

A brick does nothing, just lies there ...
Bootloop starts to boot then restarts , hence the loop part ...
When you say your SD card memory is low, you mean your external SD?? Why not delete something to get the rom on it ... Should be able to put it in a PC and remove something , if you are talking about your external ...
IF you can get to download mode, find the Stock ODIN flash for t989, and follow the directions, ODIN does not care how full your SD card is ...

Ahh, ok. Then yeah, I'm in a boot loop . It's only a 120 mb external SD. Even the stock ROM won't fit there lol.

Download cm7 hybrid its like 89mb

IMHO Odin back to stock is your best option , then you have a clean start ...
Just make sure you ONLY flash ROMs for the t989(or skyrocket if you are brave) ...

[Q] Help Plzzz

I have rooted my Galaxy y,
Then i downloaded the creed update 2.1 ,
Not the Creed proper rom 2.0 , (i have figured out my mistake)
but after installing CWM ..wiping data and wipe cache partition ...
and installing creed update 2.1 ,,
nothing is showing up on my screen,
my phone is a dead man walking
I dont know what to do know
I have screwed all things up ...
Please help guys ..
how can i revert settings back or atleast how to put creed rom zip in SD card ,, phone is not opening ... :/

take out the sdcard from ur mobile and use the sd card adapter and connect the sd card with the computer and copy Creed rom 2.0 zip file into the sd card and then put the sd card back in to the mobile and go to recovery mode and install it

use a card reader and place creed's 2.0 and just install via cwm

You should install stock rom via odin on your galaxy y and start all over again...

Thanks alot i was thinking same, but before wiping data i did the backup through CMW too , (which i forgot due to confusion that i killed my phone )
I simply did the restore and repeated the steps carefully and now i am rooted plus using creeds rom Thanks alot four your help!!

i can copy uninstall file from my pc to android and flash it thats my solution but how can i copy file if my phone doesnt startt ! ???

i downloaded the bb ten lockscreen on my pc and copied to my droid and booted in recovery mode to flash the lockscreen then i switched on my phone and enabled lockscreen to slide ( i have cm10) then suddenly the phone turned off and the cm10 boot animation ran on my screen but after that my phonw wont start

and whic CM10 Build you coming from
the mod only for CM10 Beta-1, if you coming from other build you will bootlop

Using card reader, transfer any file rom from your pc to your SD CARD, than insert the sd card back to your wonder, boot to recovery by pressing 3 button, and flash the rom from exster sd

i did the same but instead of my files on sd card showing in recovery mode it is showing all the file i have on my droid storage and not a single file of my sd card

Copy the ROM in ur MicroSD
Go to CWM Recovery
Format all clean (except where the ROM is stored)
Wipe Data N Cache etc
Wipe Delvik
Flash as usual
..Just to ensure no unwanted bit n pieces is left behind :highfive:

i wanted to do the same but in recovery mode the files shown are of my droid storage and not of my microsd card files ...what to do i know its a rare problem but it is happening with me

You mean you cant see ur Micro SD it should be read as folder EMCC (something like that)
As long as the W can boot to Samsung logo it is just soft-bricked
One more solution in CWM mount everything and try to re-flash the ROM

Relax ... And be patient
First you don't know how to choose your ext SD in recovery that's all.
Before first .. This thread must be in Q&A section
Second
Go into recovery
Then choose install from SD card ..
Then search for this word External SD .. Choose it

Then why are you posting it in the Themes and apps section... You know where to post it so why didn't you post it in the correct section.

Are you sure ? You mean you cant even browse the folders via CWM ?
If the answer is Yes...........then might as well get ODIN ready..:good:

[Q] Weird Problem

Guys i have a very weird problem i searched the whole net about it , i'll be glad if you helped me :
-i was using turbo kernel and did "wipe external storage" when the problem started .
- after that i was able to flash a new rom without troubles , BUT whenever i flash any .zip file in recovery (patch , gapps , mod , bootanimation) my device wont recognize my sdcard anymore until i wipe every thing and re-install the rom
-i tried to change kernels but the same problem happens with every kernel/Rom i use !!!
My Device R800i - Sonygen 10 ROM - Lupus 8/13 , Turbo Kernels - Unlocked BL
PLZ Help Me I Cant Afford To Buy A New Phone :crying: :crying:

Agree. Probably sd card is corrupted. Back-up your files (and rom), format it from windows (or phone) then move back your files.

Yes i tried 2 other sd cards but the same thing happen ... when i flash a mod then reboot it says "damaged usb storage" and dont see the card , i am 90% sure that the (wipe external storage) option corrupted my phone ! but i dont know how to fix it

Did you tried clean start:
-Format sd card
-Flash firmware
-Flash kernel
-wipe system and data
-Flash your rom

Thank You Sooooooo Much i was so confused that flashing firmware (phonix.62) didnt come to my mind , i flashed it then formatted my sd card then flash kernel .... Rom then reboot and flash (CM10 smallapps) and everything went fine >>> You deserve 100 thank

Problem with phone and CM10.2

Welcome. I have a problem with the phone since the release of the nightly 26/10 firmware CM10.2. I have updated it to wipe cache + dalvik, and the phone did not want to boot. The only hope was to download mode in which the flash went and MG2. When the phone woke up and I thought that flash the CM10.2 of full-wipe, but unfortunatelly. It seemed that my internal memory (not about sd card) has been broken. In the settings, format the it, but the built-in recovery were visible on the files. I decided to upload the leak MB2 with pit file, then flash on the MG2, but it did not work. What should I do? Is a return to GB and JB flash again do something about it? Can someone with such a problem already have? I hope you can help me, best regards.

well , i had the same problem on 26/10 build , i did full wipe ( wipe data , cache , dalvik , and try to format system),but it still not work , it stuck on ace 2 logo and not going to boot animation , i must flash firmwares again ... , i have this problem only at 26/10 build
i hope someone can solve this

1. Use odin to flash stock firmware
2. Flash d-kernel for stock via terminal ( see procedure in d-kernel thread )
3. Wait 10 minutes from now for new build 27/10 ( i reverted commit that possibly broke your storage)
4. Flash it using cwm recovery build in with d-kernel
5. Enjoy your phone again
