I love this case. I was using the diatonic matte before this and I like this one a lot more. The feel of it is awesome and it looks great. I just echo what everyone else is saying, cruzerlite cases are the best and are worth every penny. I may buy some more, I wouldn't mind having a grey one that is a little translucent.

Well, I just received my Cruzerlite case in the mail and slipped it on my S4 Active! :laugh:.
First thing that stands out is how tight the fitment is. This case fits like a glove, imparting a sturdier, more quality feel in the hand than my Diztronic case. Second, the texture of the case is great. It's a little grippier than my other black matte TPU case, but without sticking in the pocket, thanks to the matte finish on the back.
I opted for the for the gray clear color which is exactly what you'd expect. My Active is a business phone so I opted for the plain jane case, but I like the look enough to get one of the brighter Cruzerlite cases for weekend duty. The etched android circuit board on the back actually looks pretty cool and adds a little flair, plus it feels good in the hand. Another pro is the raised lip on the front of the case give an extra measure of protection to the screen over the Diztronic's lip. Overall, I get the impression that the Cruzerlite case would do a little better on an accidental drop than the Diztronic, but that might just be due to the overall quality of the fit. If you're a chronic dropper, obviously you'd want to go for a harder case.
The only cons I have come up with during my brief time with this case are more personal preferences: I prefer having a solid case over the volume and power buttons, similar to the Diztronic, whereas the Cruzerlite opts for cutouts. I will see if over time I come to prefer the cutout, but to me it takes away from the "seamlessness" of a case and just seems like another entry point for sand, water, etc., to enter the case and possibly the phone. I know, I know, our phone is supposed to be resistant to those things, but why push it? The second minor issue I have is that the mic and IR blaster cutouts are bit off center. They are just on the edge of being partially obstructed. I tried to shift the case around to try and center it better but had no luck. I don't think that performance will be affected but it's flirting with the tolerance level. I believe this may be beta unit, so perhaps that will be tightened up a bit as production ramps up...which I hope it will because this is a great case and a great phone!

I just recieved my case in the mail today as well and I'm really liking it! It's nice and slim, exactly how I like my cases. I had another slim tpu case on before this and I already prefer the Cruzerlite. It's definately more grippy which is nice as I prefer not to throw my phone on the ground. I'm diggin that you can see through the case so you can see the nice patterned case on the phone. The ridges on the sides of the case give you a nice tactile grip. All the buttons are nice and accessible which is always nice. Of course the big android on the back is cool, a nice subtle styling to the case which doesn't go overboard. A nice benefit is that it fits in a holster that I got with another slim case on ebay. I hike a lot so it's nice to be able to attach it to my pack. It slides right in, snug. I'm positive this case should fit in most slim case holsters.
Overall, I'm really liking this case so far and it's going to be staying on my phone.
A big thanks to Cruzerlite for sending me a nice case to test out, it's great! I will report back on any more findings in the future.
I purchased their bug droid exo case. at first I really liked it the protection was good but i had to get a refund the dirt just sticks to it like glue ( heres a pic) cruzerlite offered a replacement but it never came i got tired of waiting and calling them so i had to get a full refund. Ok, here goes my review for the Cruzerlite case I received today. I was going to wait a couple of days to do my review but I have gotten a good enough feel of it today to go ahead and post it. I received a blue bugdroid case as you can see. The lighting in my house doesn't really show how good the blue looks in the photos I uploaded. I always buy black cases so this is the first colored case I have had for a phone and I'm extremely happy they sent me blue. It fits the phone perfectly. At first I wasnt sure how it was going to be with the volume and the power buttons cut out but I can access them without any problems. The charging port is very accessible as well. The overall feel of case in your hand is nice and comfortable. It's not too bulky and it has a good grip to it. I am really overwhelmed with how this case fits and how good the blue color looks on my Active. To the guys at Cruzerlite I would like to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a tester. I'm truly impressed with what you guys have done for this phone. I give it a 10 out of 10. I recommend this case for anyone that owns a Active.
Edit: I'm not very happy with the pictures I took of this case. They really don't show how good that blue looks. I took them at midnight in my kitchen. During the day tomorrow I'm going to try and take some more that have better lighting and I'll post them back here in this thread.
Edit Again: I tried to take better pictures with no success. Take my word for it though, the blue is a good color for the Active.
Just got my Cruzerlite Androidified case for my S4 Active in the mail today. I have a Body Guardz glass screen shield on the phone. As compared to the Diztronic, the Cruzerlite case wraps further around the front of the phone. Where before you could see the edge of the screen protector, now it is only visible on the top due to the speaker cutouts.
The case installed as easily as you might expect, and I like the soft texture of the inside of it. I also like the smooth and matte combination of the back. As you can see, I got a black case, which made it a bit hard to photograph, but hopefully you guys can see what you want to see from the pics. I took a pic as it showed up, tried to get a pic of that soft texture inside the case, and then several pics of the phone in the case as well as close ups of the buttons and stuff.
Speaking of buttons and stuff, all the holes lined up perfectly, and there is a little lip around the camera on the back which is bigger than the Diztronic case and hopefully will protect the camera better. As you can see, there is no covering for the buttons and I am not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, I'd prefer the buttons be covered, but on the other maybe it will stop my inadvertent pressing of buttons when the phone is in my pocket.
Bump. It's there any more people needing to give a review? I'd like to see some other colors.

Hey guys been busy, finally got around to doing the review of this case. I must say I'm very impressed! I figured it would just be a generic case I could use until Best Buy finally got a Otterbox or the like, but it exceeded my expectations. It fits very snug all the way around and my biggest fear of the charging port being hard to access due to the cover was addressed very well.
As you can see the area around the bottom of the charging port cover is cut out far enough behind the indent where you open it that it doesn't get in the way.
There is some dust in my photos because I put the case on the phone and used it at work this week around a LOT of dust. Here is a pic of the inside. Dirt mainly got in the top left corner. This may be due to the headphone cutout not being quite big enough for the plug in my car. It wasn't plugged in around dirt but maybe this made the area loose. Yeah I know this isn't supposed to be an airtight lifeproof case or anything but I thought it did pretty well.
Here is the headphone jack area. It is already raised up like that, but it might have been made worse by my use. The IR blaster and I'm guessing that's a mic are fairly aligned. I have used the IR with the case on and it works just as well/badly as it did with it off.
Side view shows the branding and large cutout for the volume rocker. As you can see, the glossy sides will attract fingerprints unlike the back.
The other side has another large cutout for the power button. You can see the area around the camera is slightly raised.
It is also well centered and the bezel area around the camera lens is raised. Not only does this protect the lens but it helps the camera lay level, because otherwise it would lean on the headphone cutout slightly sideways. Also notice how the glossy black and the "grey" matte area really match up well with the original colors of the phone.
The speaker is well-aligned and it sounds good flat on a table. The back tapers slightly starting at the speaker, allowing sound to escape. It "throws" the sound out the back and Blood and Thunder sounds a little better with the phone face up on a table than it does holding the phone up.
Lastly I am just relieved that this case allows me to now rest easy when I set the phone down. Of course the back of the case protects everything, but so does the front. If that tiny raised lip on the front of the Active, along with the raised buttons made you cringe when you put it face down, you can relax with this case. It isn't raised too far though. I can still match candy in that stupid game still.
Hope this helps anyone wanting to buy the case. Not sure I would trust it for drop protection but better than no case at all.
I really like the Dive Blue color of the S4 Active, so I opted to have Cruzerlite send me a clear version of the Androidified A2 case to review. Overall, there are four things I look for in a phone case, so here's my take on Cruzerlite's offering:
1. Overall materials and production quality. I've had my fair share of generic TPU cases for phones, and in general they all feel cheap and rubbery to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the Cruzerlite case though, in two ways. First, the TPU material is much nicer than I've experienced with other cases. It's not rubbery at all and feels very high quality. Also, the overall production quality is high, with clean mold lines and no parts left untrimmed (or poorly trimmed).
2. Overall fit. Cruzerlite definitely did its homework with this case, in that it fits the Active perfectly, with all of the port, button and socket cutouts matching up with the phone very well. The phone snaps into the case easily, but doesn't feel loose in it.
3. Color. Cruzerlite offers a good assortment of colors, but I wanted to see how the "clear" version fared. I wouldn't call it "clear" so much as "translucent," in that while it does allow some of the Dive Blue back (and printed-on honeycomb pattern) to show through, it has an overall white color cast. I suspect that this is par for the course with TPU material in general, but calling the color "clear" is a bit of a misnomer; "frost" would perhaps be a better choice.
4. Practicality. While there are a number of well-made, well-fitting cases out there, not all of them are practical for use as a daily driver. I'd been using a Case-Mate Hula for several weeks, and it always made me a bit uneasy that it left the back of the phone exposed, and while it offered some additional grip, I still worried that I'd drop the phone during extensive one-handed operation. I'm not as worred with the Cruzerlite case, partially because of the full TPU back, but also because of the ribbed texture on the sides offering a bit of extra grip. The usability of the phone isn't impacted at all either, since Cruzerlite wisely decided to leave cutouts for the power and volume buttons, instead of trying to do push-through TPU overlay buttons (which tend to be hard to press, or fit so tightly that they press buttons on their own). This definitely feels like a daily driver case to me.
I was on vacation for the last week and saw all these reviews of the case, hoping that when I got home mine would be there. Thankfully it was, I don't know if I could have waited any longer.
Functionally this case is great. It fits the phone nice and tight and the cutouts are almost perfectly placed. Others have mentioned that their IR port may be partially obscured by the case, but mine is dead on. The cutouts for the power button and volume rocker are cut in such a way that I don't have any problems pressing any of the buttons. The bezel on the front is thick enough that when laying face down the menu, home, and back buttons do not touch. This is reassuring knowing that I can set my phone face down and not have to worry about buttons being pressed. This was especially frustrating when the press home to wake function was enabled.
Aesthetically the case is very pleasing, the two-toned colors resemble the originally two-toned design of the S4 Active. The inside of the case even protrudes a little bit to actually fit the bumpers, it's really the little things that make this case great. The two-toned feel is also very nice. The back has a nice matte finish while the edges have a glossy, more tacky feel to them; it is great when holding the phone as it feels very secure in your hand, but isn't so tacky that it is difficult to get out of your pocked. Overall, this case feels and looks great.
I do have a couple suggestions though, all aesthetic. The first thing I noticed is that the case covers only the top frame of the camera, I can see the silver frame on the bottom and sides, but the top is covered. This does not effect camera functionality in any way, but I would suggest enlarging the camera cutout slightly so that the silver frame of the camera can be seen all the way around. Secondly, the cutout for the charging port protrudes a little bit and has sharp corners. I'm not sure what the reason for this is, but I would have thought the cutout would have been similar in shape and feel to the cutout for the power button. Again, it doesn't effect the charging port in any way, I just thing it would feel a little more pleasing in the hand.
Finally as you can see in the pictures I received the white case. On day one it looked really good, but after two days of use it's beginning to show dirt on the back (you can see a couple smudges in the pictures). I'm going to clean it with soap and water, but after two days of use the back is noticeably a shade darker than the inside of the case. If you're planning on getting this case, and you definitely should, I would recommend getting a color other than white if you're concerned about showing dirt.
Overall this case is great and I would recommend it to anybody who has an S4 Active. If the couple of changes I recommended above were implemented I don't know how you could find a better TPU case.

Howdy gang, I wanted to share my thoughts on the Cruzerlite case I have had the opportunity to test. The case I have been testing is the clear Androidified case. I wanted a clear case to show off the awesome blue S4 Active that I own. I have been one to gravitate towards bulky cases like the Otterboxes, but I wanted something a little more trim for the Active. I will break down what I like and don't like in each main section below.
Visuals: Overall I think the case looks awesome. The portion around the edges is truly clear, which lets that glorious blue hue shine through. The back of the case has the familiar 'circuit' design with the android robot, and that is the best part. I am not sure if Cruzerlite did this on purpose, but regardless, they really nailed the design. The background is translucent, while the design itself is completely clear. This lets the blue shine through, and when light hits the back the design almost looks like it is glowing electric blue. It is a pretty neat effect that you kind of have to see in person.
Materials/Build: This is a pretty nice case from what I have experienced as far as TPU cases go. It fits nice and tight and doesn't feel thin or skimpy around the corners like some cases do. It is smooth, but has enough of a rubbery feel to it to have decent grip. The camera cutout has a lip over half of the cutout which helps raise it off the table when set down screen up, but I think they should make go all the way around the cutout, and also add a little strip of material between the camera and flash to cover the camera surround bezel. I also wish they would put a raised lip over the speaker cutout. I have found that other cases that have this sound better when using the speaker with the phone resting screen side up. There is a thin line of flashing around the perimeter that appears to be from the manufacturing process. It is a little distracting, but I am being pretty nit-picky. The clear material can show scuffs so that is a con. It also attracts dirt and deposits it under the lip of the case, which is visible due to the transparency of the case. But if you want a clear case then I suppose it comes with the territory.
Use: I really do enjoy using the case. It is thin and light, but sturdy enough to handle some misuse. I have dropped it once with no ill effect so I can vouch for it's protective properties. There are a few things that I do not like. First, I don't like the cutouts for the power and volume buttons. I would personally like covered buttons with a raised tactile area like the Diztronic case. I think the cutouts make it tough to hit the buttons at times, especially with a large phone like this one. The cases that have covered buttons offer a little more protection and ease of use IMHO. I also don't like the headphone jack cutout. It is too small for two mini jacks I have tested. This is a pet peeve of mine and unfortunately a lot of cases are guilty of this flaw.
Final Impressions: This case rocks. It has a nifty design that really shows off the cool blue S4 Active that lives underneath. It is about the nicest TPU case I have used. With some tweaking I think Cruzerlite could really knock it out of the park. Thanks for reading, and thanks to Cruzerlite for the opportunity!

I'm curious if there is a stiffer/stronger silicone case out there. I had a hard silicone case for my ipod touch and miss it. The htc silicone case is just to flimsy and I'm not wanting a hard case never had any luck with them

What you want is a TPU case. It's a different material than silicon, somewhat stiffer and tighter fitting (maybe a bit less shock absorbent?), but pretty much superior in every respect imo... It's still a soft case tho, you still stretch it around the EVO to fit it in and whatnot, and you could bend it if you wanted (only difference is it snaps back to it's original shape much quicker than silicon).
It seems to have more grip on your hand but it slides out of your pocket a lot easier, a LOT easier, and unlike silicon cases it attracts almost no dust and lint whatsoever! My HTC/OEM silicon case (bought at the Sprint store) attracted so much lint and crap in my pocket that within a day of cleaning it all up I'd have this crusty line of crap all around the edges, it was pretty irritating. None of that w/my TPU case, at all!
The TPU cases also feel a lot slimmer on your hand even tho they're not that much thinner than the silicon one, they're still thick enough so that the camera is recessed below it and fully protected (most of them are anyway, there's some thinner ones)... I guess part of the reason they feel more svelte is that the edges are more rounded off and not as squre-ish as the HTC silicon one.
Button press feel is also much better w/these, probably because of the tighter fit, they actually improve the handling of the power button if you ask me. The side edges of these cases don't move at all unless you pull on it tightly, totally different feel compared to the silicon ones which loosen up and from just swiping your finger across the screen you can end up stretching the edge out.
In short, they're just superior in every way, just get one and you'll thank me later. All you have to do is choose one of the different ones out there based on aesthetics...
Amzer sells one w/an Argyle pattern on the back, that's what I've got right now, it's available on Amazon and off Amzer's site for around the same price ($9-10), it's semi-translucent and the pattern is actually a lot more subdued and doesn't stand out nearly as much as you'd think from looking at the online pics. I actually like the pattern, if anything I'd say the shade of the skin isn't quite smoked/black, it has a slight hint of amber/brown...
That's the only thing that bothers me about it. I'm gonna be ordering a plain black one along w/a red one from DCMugen on Ebay, he's selling some made by Epik that look to be the exact same thing w/o the Argyle pattern, and they're cheaper to boot ($3.50, or $6.50 for two). I can get you a link if you can't find 'em... I think they have 'em in blue and clear and a few other colors too.
Just don't fall for the cheap off-brand Argyle ones on Ebay, you can tell them apart easily because unlike the two I've mentioned those have one large cutout for the camera/LED/speaker, whereas these other ones have individual cutouts and from what I've read they're a bit thicker. Those other Ebay ones also have a large silly cutout for the fingernail hole on the battery lid that you use to pry it off, seems like a goof on the mold/design.
If you don't care for the Argyle pattern on the Amzer one I'd get the Epik ones from DCMugen, I think the colors/tint on those are closer to the photos. Here's a link to the red one, you can click on the seller for the other colors and the package pricing for two or whatever.
If you're not into the translucent look of either of those TPU cases you can always grab the matte black one at www.evocases.net There's a thread for those right here at XDA where misticjeff has even thrown in a $1 code discount for XDA members. The sides/front are still glossy (perhaps a bit glossier than the translucent ones, judging by the photos), back's matte. The frost one is no longer available.
On the thread about those some people were complaining about the feel of the power button, seems it's not as great as the Amzer/Epik ones, some people resorted to sticking a lil' bit of tape in between to make it easier to press... One thing the evocases.net does have going for it is the slightly raised ring around the camera, which I guess might protect it more in the long run... Even tho they're all thick enough that the lens is recessed (as well as the screen obviously).
My 2 cents, hope it helps... I'm loving the feel of these TPU cases tho, I'll probably never get a silicon case for a phone again.
Whew, that second post got pretty long... A picture or two would've made it easier to explain I guess. Lemme know if you're interested in the Argyle one and I can grab my camera and post some pics of how it really looks, there doesn't seem to be many pictures out there of the actual case ON the phone (for either of them really).
I was gonna wait 'till I had the Epik ones so I could photograph them all side by side but I can take pics of the Amzer Argyle one in advance and post 'em up. Like I said, I actually dig the Argyle pattern because it's pretty subdued, it's more of an etch or a shade (it actually feels like an etch on the inside of the case), rather than a print. The only thing that bothers me about it is the overall shade/tint.
I probably wouldn't even be ordering the Epik one if I wasn't also ordering some of those clear battery doors that are about to go on sale... I think those plain Epik cases w/the clear battery door will look very slick.
Best buy might have what you are looking for. My only gripe is the buttons feel hard to push. But give it a shot (most BB will let you try on the case) it might be what you are looking for.
Seidio Innocase Active Cased - Limited Edition
After looking around the net for some time I bought the Seido Innocase Active Limited Edition.
Can't post a link but search Amazon for the title in my thread.
It's a semi-hard silicon cover with a siliconized hard plastic that exo-skeleton. Perfect combo in my opinion. My one complaint is that the edges on the hard plastic piece have the siliconized coating peeling off a little but I think I may have gotten a defective unit as I haven't seen anyone else complaining about it yet.
Also got the ClearTouch screen cover anti-glare version. I've had this cover on a few phones and it's also the best for reducing glare and fingerprints while maintaining clarity. Kinda hard to install without getting dust underneath but once you get it on right it looks and feels great. ClearTouch is sold by boxwave and is on Amazon.
Hybrid Flexi Skin Cover
Has anyone tried the Hybrid Flexi Skin cover from Daydeal.com? I'm also looking for a tighter case than my OEM silicone skin I got from Sprint. I just don't like the way the sides become flimsy and flaps off the phone when I swipe my screen. I'm looking at this case:

As I said in my previous post, TPU rocks as a material for cases/skins... I don't blame ya for skipping right over it tho.

TPU doesn't attract dust at all, it's much tighter/rigid so the side edges don't flop out at all, but it's still got plenty of give (so it'll absorb a fall/bump), you could bend 'em in half if you wanted... Only difference is it'll snap back into form in a second unlike silicon which will probably just bounce around in an arc.
TPU also seems just as grippy on your hand, if not more so, but it slides in and out of pockets way way easier, and most of the TPU cases I've seen feel way more svelte in the hand than the OEM/HTC silicon scene... Probably in part because they're a tad thinner, probably also because the edges are more rounded off and not as blocky. Physically I'm sure it isn't a huge difference, but it sure feels like it.
This thread has some further discussion on TPU cases, it's really hard to judge them based on pictures alone, I was very pleasantly surprised with mine.
So I tried googling the title you posted and came up with this, only place I could find it at. Looks pretty interesting, seems the back is hard plastic and the edges are TPU. If you dig that honeycomb pattern I'd say go for it...
Altho if it's actual plastic it might get scratched up over time Looks like it's also clear/translucent, clear plastic usually shows every single flaw... A plain TPU case wouldn't have that issue. I'm just not seeing the advantage over 100% TPU, which are also like $3.50 vs $14 (look for DCMugen's Epik/TPU cases on Ebay).
OTOH that red back + black edges on the video in the link I pasted before looks pretty sweet... The rest look kinda gaudy imo ('cept for the all black) but red/black looks really different, I like it.
P.S. This is the Honeycomb (Smoke & Red) combination I was alluding to... There's also Honeycomb (Smoke & Smoke) and plain Black & Smoke (no honeycomb pattern, solid black sides). The red is the most distinct imo, those are all probably better in the long run than the clear back (less forgiving).

Tip for the next time you gotta install a screen protector and its the hard type: get some scotch tape, put it on the non adhesive side of the screen protector so you can peel it back without touching anything, and then grab another piece of tape and start taping the dust out of the screen or adhesive side of the protector and you'll be dust free in no time. Friends came over cuz they all needed new protectors and i did 4 phones in 20 minutes.
Hybrid Flexi Case
I got my new case today....went with the Smoke & Smoke combo. This case is awesome, I HIGHLY recommend it. the sides don't flap and it has a really tight fit and seems really durable. I went with the smoke on smoke honeycomb case and got it today. It's darker so I think it'll hide any scratching that my occur on the backing. I agree with you on the clear backs when I first saw them, but the back seems scratch resistant (only time will tell)

Received my SGP Ultra Silke case in Soul Black for the Galaxy S II (SHW-M250S)(SHW-M250K)(GT-i9100) today. Thought I'd do a little review.

This wasn't mentioned in the description or anything but I got two extra screen protectors (in addition to the Steinheil one in the box). Some Korean brand (Phone Mirror) I've never heard of. It's for the SHW-M250S/K but looks like it should fit fine on my i9100. No holes for the FF cam or sensors though. Just cutouts for the earpiece and home button.
Packaging?
It arrived in a little padded mailer. Nothing special.
Box itself is a clear plastic box, with a black matte plastic base. There's a sticker covering the bottom bit telling you what type of case, what color and what phone it's for. It wraps around the side (where it tells you there's an included Steinheil SP) and ends at the base, where there's a barcode. There's also a SGP hologram on the top right corner.
The clear bit is just taped to the matte base. It lifts off to reveal the case.
Under that there's a paper insert with the serial number and under that is the SP and the microfibre cloth.
Case?
The case itself is a silicon case. Nothing like the average cheapo silicon cases though... It feels sorta satin-matte-y. Very flexible too.
See, it's actually a silicon case coated with a polymer coating which should prevent dust and other particles from sticking to it and makes it easier to slip in and out of a pocket.
The 'easier to slip in/out of a pocket' is true- it's actually quite slippery. If you're looking for a case to improve grip on the phone (clumsy?) then this isn't the case you're looking for.
It also does sorta prevent dust from sticking on the case. I think you have to break it in or something like that first- it got dust stuck to it like crazy (seemingly out of thin air) for the first few hours but it's just fine now.
The cutouts are absolutely perfect. Both mic holes match up perfectly (and since they're both just little pinpricks, not huge craters, that's pretty impressive). Speaker hole matches up perfectly. There's even a little bit of silicon sticking out on the sides of the hole to indicate where the first speaker hole ends and where the second hole starts.
Headphone jack matches up just as perfectly. Maybe a bit too perfect- a generic aux cable wouldn't fit due to the huge amount of plastic surrounding the jack (it would only go 3/4 in). A cable with a slimmer plastic surround worked though. Most headphone cables should work fine.
The strap hole is perfectly cut out too.
There is no gap around the camera hole. Yes, the cover does touch the table before the camera lens, so no worries there.
The microUSB port hole is fine obviously.
Unfortunately, there is a cutout on the top right corner for the Korean-spec DMB TV tuner. Possibly a weak spot. But then again, this case was was advertised for and designed for the SHW-M250S/K so that's to be expected. I wonder if they'll release a US/UK-spec version?
On the front there is a pretty thick lip so no worries about placing the phone face down.
The power and volume buttons aren't cut-outs, the plastic cover acts as a button extender. They work fine. Not harder to push than without the case or anything.
Swiping your finger against the side and bottom does cause the silicon to move since it's not a rigid material. Potentially irritating to some. Dust might also get in that way?
SGP labelling on case?
One nitpick many people have with cases is that many companies slap a hugeass logo or text self-advertising the case company.
On this case, there's (from top to bottom) the SGP logo, 'SGP CASE' and ' ULTRA SILKE' on the bottom. Small text and very minimalistic. It's just above the reverse chin on the back. Not loud or anything.
Take the case off and you'll find a whole bunch of text telling you what brand & type of case it is, where it was designed, where it was made, and what type of phone it's for.
Steinheil Ultra Crystal Screen Protector?
They advertise it to be 25% thicker than normal protectors for additional anti-scratch/scuff protection. It's also (apparently) 'anti-UV' and fingerprints should be wiped away easily. I don't think it's oleophobic though.
Application is the usual 2-step 'remove the first bit, stick it on, then remove the protective top layer' method. As previously mentioned, there is a provided microfibre cleaning cloth. No squeegee though.
It does seem to be thicker than my generic protector I already have applied. No cutouts for the FF cam or sensors either- only cutouts are for the earpiece and home button.
No camera protector provided unlike with some other SGP products.
[above this is just based on a general observation- haven't applied the SP yet- probably won't till I scratch my current protector into oblivion first]

I got the ultra silke b/c I already have 2 other (generic) TPU cases which are similar in form to the ultra capsule. Depends what kinda case you like

Doesn't add much thickness or weight to the phone.
As mentioned in the OP it does attract dust directly OOTB but after using it for a bit it becomes bearable.

Pictures were taken immediately after taking it out of the box. It's better now, and when dust does stick, a quick brush with a finger solves it.

You sure the screen protector is sgp? Cause mine looks way different to yours and i got mine sent from seoul from my sister in law.
The clear film under the microfibre cleaning cloth in the 2nd image is the SGP Ultra Crystal protector provided with the Ultra Silke case.
The 2 'Phone Mirror/High Quality' protectors in the 3rd picture were a 'free gift' from the seller. Those are generic Korean protectors, not SGP.
If you rip open one of those packages you have it should look similar to what's in the 2nd picture.
Just wanted to add that the microUSB cutout in this case is large enough to fit the DealExtreme USB OTG cables.
Also dust barely sticks on to it now. Only major issue is the TV antenna cutout in the top right- I can see myself dropping the phone and having that corner hit the floor (yeah I'm unlucky like that).
I have the gloss version of this case and I can very highly recommend it. I had the 'casemate - barely there' case, but sent it back cause this was £1 more and much much better.
Comparing the two i'd say that the SGP is marginally thicker, but is still by no means a thick case and can be considered a slim case. As OP mentioned case has a lip that extends over the front of the phone, which i'd imagine would give some (though limited) protected against being dropped face down. The casemate didn't have this. The cut-outs are perfect except for that troublesome TV tuner corner, but you'd have to drop your phone at a very exact angle in order to do any damage. Whereas the cutouts on the barely there .. well.. they were so large they exposed massive regions of the phone.
Also the case is made out of a hard rubber type material. I've had a cheap silicon case from eBay, and this is nothing like that. Much slimmer and the material is much harder. It feels like its built to perfectly absorb shock. The casemate was hard plastic, i'd image that would give absolutely minimum shock protection if the phone was dropped.
I haven't had the dust attraction problem that OP had, but the gloss case gets covered in fingerprint marks really easily. A quick wipe with the t-shirt sorts this out though.
Not sure what else to say. Oh, the gloss effect is 'enhanced' by having a bit of glitter on the case. Its like darkish glitter and subtle, but non-the-less my case is covered in glitter. As a man I feel slightly uncomfortable with having a phone covered in glitter. I really wanted the gloss case, but if i'd know if was all glittery I probably would have gone for the matt. Its not enough of a concern for me to send it back though, just a thought for people wanting to buy the gloss case. You can kind of see in this picture, though it just looks like dust - it is in fact sparkly glitter:

The glitter is one of the reasons I chose the silke over the capsule.
The dust problem is no longer noticeable and even when dust does get stuck to it a quick brush with a sleeve or something. Can't say the same for the inside though- seems to be more rubbery than the exterior.
I eventually stuck some tape over the top right corner to cover up the TV tuner hole. Might help just in case, idk.

Well to be fair the guy I bought it from is from Korea, and the box clearly states for Korean SGSIIs, so can't blame em too much Would be nice if they made an 'international' version though, yes.
Bought an Ultra Slike and loving it. Had one of those cheaper cases but this one looks better. Unfortunate though for the cutout, could have been so much nicer without it

Diztronic Samsung Galaxy S2 T989 Matte Back Black *Rev 2* TPU Case Review
I have had this case for about a month now and I am writing this review as there doesn't appear to be any particular review of the case for our phone. *to view a larger image just click on the thumbnail*
Delivery/Packaging |9/10| & Pricing |8/10| :
I ordered the case from the Diztronic website so it was delivered from their main facilities. I live outside of the US so I had to choose the "USPS First Class Mail" method which was $2.50 CDN. The package arrived in my mail box close to 2 weeks, which was a longer wait than I hoped for but it was noted that international shipping would take 7-30 days. The package itself came in a grey plastic envelope with the shipping information labelled on it. Inside the package was the case wrapped in a clear plastic with the logo label and a cut piece of cardboard that was placed to help retain the shape of the envelope. When taking the case out of the plastic, there is an image of the phone printed on a piece of cardboard within the case to show what the case will look like on the phone. The packaging the case came in was more than secure enough to provide protection when being shipped (there were no tears or faults in the packaging at all).
The pricing and availability of the case will vary at the time you read this. Although, the cost for the case itself was a decent $10 for what you get, by far not the most affordable however. I used the discount code "XDA" to get an extra $0.99 off the order which was convenient. It would have been nice if they included a screen protector like they do with some of the other phone cases they offer.
Installation & Fit |10/10| :
Putting the T989 in to the case is extremely easy since it's a one piece, TPU style case, so there are no tools or attachments needed. My approach in putting on the case was by starting off with placing the top of the phone (where the headphone jack is) in the case since the top of the case has 'lip' that goes slightly over the top bezel compared to the bottom. Then I just pushed in the rest of the phone in the case making sure the sides of the case did not catch the buttons, which was not a problem at all, right until the bottom of the phone was securely in place.
The case itself is extremely slim and the fit is almost close to perfect, every side of the case is snug to the phone, however, note that I am using the case on top of the body skin I reviewed here. So for anyone who was wondering, yes, this case will work with a body skin applied on the phone. The case is so firm in fact that even the left and right sides of the case do not move as easily when sliding your fingers towards them moving outwards , however, this may change in time... I just haven't experienced it as of yet.
Build Quality |10/10| :
This particular case has a very premium feel, there is a certain weight added to the phone with the case on. It also may have to due with the matte back option I chose for the case. The feel of the matte texture finish is almost identical to the feel of the Razer gaming mouse I have (if you have used a Razer mouse, you would understand what I mean). It has a very paper-like characteristic yet is soft to touch. The matte finish is carried from the outside of the phone to the inside as well which adds to the overall quality of the case (it is also provides a softer surface for the phone compared to the raw plastic). The benefits of having the matte finish is that it is less prone to fingerprints, the downside is that if the matte part gets scratched it will be very noticeable. The matte finish is smooth making it easy to take the phone out of the pocket.
I'd like to mention however, the matte finish is not applied to the outer border/rim of the case as that part is left glossy. It appears as if the case was made with two pieces which may be the instance since the separation between the glossy/matte finish is symmetrical around the circumference of the case. I believe this was done because it is the area that would get worn out the quickest and it probably was easier to manufacture that way. In my opinion, I think the glossy rim for the case was a great idea, it definitely looks aesthetically better for the whole front of the phone. Also, the glossy finish offers a better grip to the case, since the matte finish may be too smooth to grip at times.
Now, when it comes to the cut-outs of the case, they are placed accordingly for every necessary part of the phone. The cutouts for the power button/volume-rocker is perfectly placed and provides a substantial amount of room which provide easy access for any finger size. The cutouts for the headphone jack and micro-USB port are evenly spaced out which leaves enough room for anything that you would like to connect. The headphone jack of my Shure earbuds which is somewhat wide, fit without a problem, at the same time the stock USB cable that came with the phone fits just as expected with the case on (I have provided pictures above with the cables attached below) . Regarding the USB cut-out it was noted that in revision 2 of the case they have enlarged the cutout to leave room for the bottom microphone (I have not experienced any call echo with the case on, even on the stock T989 ROM). The cutout for the top microphone is also precisely placed, there are no issues.
The back cutouts for the case are just as accurate as the cutouts on the side of the case. The camera cut-out does not obstruct the lens of the camera or the LED flash at all. I particularly like how close the cut-out for the rear speaker is, it's nicely placed at the same time it does not reduce the volume produced from the speaker. I'd also like to mention that the case somewhat lifts up the rear of the phone around the speaker area which lets some sound still leak out when the back of the phone is faced down. Lastly, for anyone who is wondering about the reception quality when using this case, I have found no issues during use which is expected since TPU isn't a material that interferes with radio signals.
Protection Quality |8/10| :
The most important part of any case is the protection it offers and this case in my opinion provides more than satisfactory protection for day to day use. Due to its slimness it may not have the drop protection that cases like the Otterbox offer, yet, the TPU material used is particularly good at protecting the phone from average height drops such as from a computer table to stomach height. The case is thick enough to protect the camera area as it lifts the glass part off the surface, this also applies to the front glass of the phone as the rim of the case provides about 1 mm of clearance when setting the phone down on it's front. The rim of the case is formed perfectly over the edge of the front right before the glass, so if you have a screen protector it will not lifted/bubble up.As for scratch protection goes, the case definitely prevents scratches to the back housing of the phone. The disadvantage with this case is that since there are cut-outs for the buttons, dust/sand particles can enter sides of the case which can cause scratches to the bezel of the phone (which is the major reason I bought a body skin to be used right underneath the case). If you are worried about scratches on the phone, the combination of the body skin with this case offers amazing scratch protection if you are willing to spend the money for it.
Overall |9/10| :
If you are looking for a sleek looking slim case to protect your T989, the Diztronic TPU case is definitely a great option! The build quality of this case is notably impressive and there's no questioning to why this case is somewhat pricey compared to the TPU alternatives on Ebay. You definitely get a premium case, particularly with its Matte back finish. As for protection goes, the case offers the best balance between protection and keeping the slim profile of the T989, the TPU qualities with this case is more than enough in protecting your phone from everyday drops. Overall, the Diztronic Matte Back Black *Rev 2* TPU case is definitely a product I recommend for any GS2 T989 user, there are enough noteworthy features that this case offers for you to get one if looking for a case.

I have the same case and its the best case I have ever owned. I drop my phone quite a bit and phone/case still look perfect. Fits great on device, and has a nice non slippery feel that does not attract dust. My wife has the pink version and its the same quality but a little slicker, she really likes it too.

I have the matte black diz rev 2. I bought my t989 at tmobile store and wanted titanium but was told they aren't made anymore. Now this was from corp office. So I got white. The diz covers it nice black with a little white showing fitting for ICS . I really don't care if it scratches it. I May buy New housing anyway!
I dislike the way the edges of the phone are angled toward the front face - I'd much prefer them to be just flat and squared off to the front and back (like the iphone). Are there any cases that give you this feel - at least to some extent? It'd also be nice if it flattened out the "convexity" of the back too. Anything that might increase tactile feel/responsiveness of the standard buttons is a bonus.
I'm currently learning toward the Diztronic TPU case.

I have the diztronic and it's a good case, was my go-to case for the last little while. Because the material is not slippery and it's a slightly bulkier case, you don't notice the convexity of the back. The phone is pretty "stable" as a result when it's on a flat surface. Regarding the sides, it's a border of sorts with a small ridge in the case between the sides and the back. This will probably give you the feeling of the sides being squared off.

Who said I didn't like the construction? It's the only Android ever sold (from what I can tell) with iphone build quality (or better). I'm not enough of a fanboy of any product not to call out bad ergos when I feel them. The chamfered edges of the One are atrocious. I hated them on the One X, and I hate them on the One. They're angled the wrong way, IMO, but just squared off would be best. The back is not really as much of an ergo thing, but it gives the phone a weird thicker feel. It doesn't help that (with no case), when set down, the center of gravity is directly over the camera glass due to the convexity. These aspects aren't enough to drive me away from what I otherwise consider to be a phenomenal phone, but I'll try to minimize them where I can.
Well ... I find the ergonomics of the phone excellent and I have no complain about the angles of the edges .. on the contrary, I like the feel in the hand.
Check my post on page 190 second from the top, I have a case that has an flat back like you want. It does add some bulk because it builds up the edges to be flat but I love the case and feels great. Hope it helps!

I have one and Idk if my hands are small but I find its hard to grip and feels also slippery...

I have the light gray one with the mint green power button on my white 3 XL and yeah it's slippery. I love the aesthetics and feel, but it is slippery. When I prop the phone up against something to watch a video in landscape mode, it just slides out.
I had the fabric case for the 2 XL and returned it because it was indeed slippery in the hand it was also more chunky than the current generation. Fast forward to today, I own the spigen rugged case for my new 3XL, and I bought the fabric case to give it a try. It's a lot more slim, and coverage on the front corners is questionable if it took a direct hit when dropped. I can say that it is not so much slipper in the hand. It is moreso grippy than last year's, but still doesnt grip on hard surfaces like when being propped up as one of the other replies suggested. For now, the spigen is staying in a drawer at home. I prefer the look, feel, and prestige of the fabric case.

Love the fabric case! Also had one for 2xl and as nice as that one was, the newer one is better. It's slimmer, grippier (not a word), and has better coverage along bottom. It looks great and the fit is perfect, along with the buttons being nice to press too.
The only downside, mentioned by others but not necessarily shared by me, is that the lip is on the smallish side.
I don't have an issue with the lip. If you lay it on a flat surface the glass does not touch so that's good by me.
I also have the Bellroy leather case (super nice) and just ordered the Simply Carbon Fiber case which I'm hoping is as nice as it looks.
im using the indigo on my pixel 3 xl , but i just noticed something i took the phone out of the cover to wipe it ,
i saw a deep scratch on the left side , i did not use my phone without cover . but i think a dust was inside the side and with squeeze feature the phone got scratched.
always check inside the cover
