[q] graphics problem pls advise - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hi ive got an ascend p6 on O2 currently on b106 firmware, I have installed 4 games, candy crush, stick cricket and 8 ball pool, on all of them the graphics are slow or glitch, however the riptide game preinstalled works fine, should I return the phone or is this likely a software issue that will be resolved with an update. . thanks

Set up your Energy Plan in Normal, it should be ok

Already done that mate also tried enabling performance mode under app setting makes no difference

I had the same issue on b106, and I also have it on b107. I don't think it's a problem with apps, but the homebrew chipset. It's just not as powerful and battery efficient as the QCT equivalents, which is a real shame. Like the iPhone it kinda mimicks - style over substance.
I'd really like to be able to run games like The Dark Knight Rises, and Spiderman etc that I've purchased. Even Reckless Getaway, but the framerate in these apps is terrible.
Now that I've got it for two years, I'll keep abreast on what Huawei Product Management do with getting optimized builds out for this phone. I believe china are on a few bundles newer than Europe, but I've not ventured to installing those yet.

Download firmware b107 frm huawei official website and flash it.

[FOR DEV] Google Play Issues.

So guys, in the newest ROM by Sammy the Google Play app doesn't detect our phone as compatible with games that should work on it and worked on it previously. Sonic 4 is the most ridiculous example. It wasn't to install on a HTC Tattoo but not on the galaxy w? that doesn't even begin to make sense.
Any ideas how we fix this in our ROMs? We don't want limited Market for our ROMs users.
SGW wasn't compatible with Sonic 4 even with previous ROM version.

Yes it was. I bought it. And played it. On both older ROMs AND ICS. Also Real Racing 2 also isn't available anymore.
edit: even games featured on the Game Hub like Skyfall that should be compatible aren't.
Maybe they just withdrew Sonic 4 from the SGW list for all ROM versions? Because I have the previous ROM, not the latest one. I have ROM version 2.3.6 with built date 5.1.2012, I haven't newest ROM with value pack and Google Play says that Sonic 4 is incompatible with my SGW.
I have a similar experience with game Sprinkle which was offered for just 49 cents in promotion - celebration of the rebranded Android Market, Google Play. The Sprinkle game was compatible first few days with SGW but the developer suddenly decided to withdraw it. And it have nothing common with changing SGW ROM version. Google Play then says it's incompatible but my friend with Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo with similar or lower HW specification buy it without problem.
I don't know, but I am on Stock 2.3.6 still, and Sonic is not available...see pic:

Hey guys!
I was having problems with not compatible apps on my samsung advance too. I thought it was due to changin LCD density (DPI). But wven when setting default values a lot of apps where still incompatible. but then I've tried LCD density Modder PRO. I used the Fix Market Compatibility Issues options, and now I don't have compatibility issues any more. But neverthe less I now use default density settings (240 DPI), cause I hade quite few force closes before.

[Q] why htc desire hd lags ?

i had xperia x10 which lags too much due to short of ram then i shifted to desire hd as its have large ram but still it lags esp during games
i have almost 870 mb free internal memory and almost 380 free mb ram then why its lagging ?
Which games are you playing? And which ROM are you on?
Many CPU intensive games nowdays are built for multi-core CPU's and since our DHD is only a single core device it has some performance issues..
I think it depend on type of game you play and type of rom you use. If you use official rom of DHD and play some games built for, there's no lags.

i am using official rom android ver 2.2 and games like racing moto. temple run infect in temple run when i close the game my phone is just like dying i have to restart it again
Why are you using Android 2.2 froyo? You have to upgrade your rom to 2.3.x gingerbread. I think with this you'll have a better RAM management and be able to play easily game like racing moto. It's my opinion.

Well, our desire hd isn't that bad now that it won't run temple run, in fact it can play lots of games much more heavier much more efficiently.but you really need to root your phone first. Just go to android development section and read the sticky threads..
( before doing that, I would suggest you reset your phone once and install games and apps again and see..., the lag might be due to corrupt files too.....)

problem resolved .. basically it was task killer which was killing the games i have added all games to ignore list after that its run fine.
about rooting. i have tried z4 and visionary for temp root both gave successful message at the end but when i checked my phone it was not rooted.. however for permanent root the procedure is very difficult for me as i am not a advanced user all the procedures gone over my head so i decided not to take risk.. if you have any easy one click root method then please share with me.

Well good your problem got resolved, congrats .. And given your situation, you being a girl, well the only thing that you would be doing after rooting is flashing newer and fancy roms some with bugs and some with less bugs, and I don't quite see a girl doing that on her phone all the time, girls got lots of other stuff to care for.. So my advice, stay away from rooting as long as you don't really run into some functional problem with official Rom which is very less likely, so switch on your Desire HD, click Temple run, and start Running and enjoy your cell

Problem with Asphalt 8 on 4.3 roms

Hi there!
About month ago i flashed an android 4.3 rom (Mokee OS 43.0), and i've succesfully installed and run Asphalt 8:Airborne. I'm sure that this game is 100% compatibible with Android 4.3 because of OpenGL 3.0 support of New Nexus 7 tablet.
Anyway i've back to 4.2 rom because i wanted to end up some older games. Recently i flashed 4.3 again, and there is the problem. Some games like Asphalt 8 are installing, but they doesn't work. When I run Asphalt 8 i have "force close popup" or the game just doesn't start.
The more interesting is that, if I will delete Asphalt 8 app, i can't install it again, the app won't install. I tried some OG 4.3 roms like: Paranoid Android 3.99 , PAC-MAN, MokeeOS 43.0. Every time i made a full wipe before flashing.
I don't know what i did wrong. If it was working of 4.3 , why now doesn't work?

Does it allow you to install from Playstore or does it show 'device is not compatible' ?
Sometimes app developers keep putting devices in and out of compatibility lists.
I've had this experience with other devices.
Example, Subway Surfer was compatible with Samsung's grand, then suddenly they made it incompatible for 4 months, now it's compatible again.

Lol....you guys kill me with thermal sh!t. I will make a video of this phone running the latest games on stock rom. And i play alot. Mc4,fifa14,rr3,asphalt 8 and many more.
Not the slightest issue. The only thing bothering me is in rr3, not in game itself, but on the menus after and between events. But the games run as smooth as it can be.
Asphalt 8 is running pretty smooth on my gf's xperia arc s. So you tell me a game that is not that resource hungry as others,is giving a top flagship headaches???

Kimitza is right. I have Asphalt 8 too, I have been playing it everyday, not the slightest lag, issue, etc.

That's weird, did you noticed that phone is much warmer after 10-15 minutes of playing? On demanding games of course.
I mean lag on highest graphic settings. I know that Adreno 320 is very powerfull gpu, but i know that official software doesn't use all his full power.
Games on New Nexus 7 works much smoother (the same cpu, mem and gpu but better smoothness), i don't want to enjoy games playing on medium or low quality, i want to enjoy full features of it, and play on highest possible settings without any lags, because i know it worked.

Gaming on ICS ROMs

Hi guys, I have a problem playing games such as GTA III on my Xperia Play with any ICS ROM: everytime I launch the game, it freezes after a few seconds and I have to pull out the battery since the device stops responding.
Do you have this problem too ? Is it possible to solve it ? And...games aren't supposed to work better on newer versions of Android ? I know that ICS leaves less free RAM but there's are ICS ROMs like Krisdee's hybrid rom that leaves 200mb of free RAM like GB ROMs so I don't know what could be the problem...I've tried overclock to 1,6 GHz too, problem persists.

Not sure if you still have this problem but you should know that just because some android versions (ICS, JB etc) are newer, it doesn't necessarily make performance better. This will be the case when it comes to the Xperia Play, since this 2011 phone has never received an official upgrade to ICS (due to performance issues). When it comes to our phone, Gaming and Battery will always be better on Gingerbread since it is more battery friendly and less laggy performance wise.
If you want to stay on ICS then your best bet will be installing some mods such as Ice Cream Speed or PurePerformancesX however like i said if you're the gaming type then stay on GB for your phones full potential
Good luck

Asphalt 8 isn't compatible with the Xperia Play hardware so even if you have JB or ICS you can't even download the game from the Play Store it just says that the phone isn't compatible.
Anyways, I've tried it with a JB rom (downloading directly the apk+obb file) and the game installed succesfully but it was crashing during the loading before the first race so isn't playable.

I completely agree with you, it's a shame that an unique phone like the Xperia Play has such "ancient" hardware...

True... I hope they make a newer version with better hardware.
Still, I managed to run GTA San Andreas on Fusion ICS. You can use the buttons and analog touchpad with gamekeyboard.
Overclocked at 1.5 GHZ and swap of 512MB it won't crash. sometimes I get 30 fps, but most of the time I get a crappy 10 fps...

Newbie , what's the perfect rom for Untouched Le 1 Pro x800 US version

Hey Folks , I've ordered a Letv le 1 pro x800 us smartphone from an aliexpress reseller I was impressed by the hardware of this price range phone and also I've watched a lot of positive vids on youtube and Antutu Benchmarking.
I'm expecting the phone to arrive in one week approximately , but I'm surprised by many users negative reviews about the ROM that came of out the box.
The bloatware , malware ads , app crashing Browser , Youtube no OTA updates and other problems .I've read many topics and see many custom roms but unfortunately these ROMs delete the malware but disable many functions IR BLASTER , double tap to wake ...etc
Please I'm wondering which is the best rom to flash my phone in order to make it work well without loss of performance or functions missing or battery drains ??!
I've heard that the US version is not supported by the manufacturer team support , unlike the CN version which the recent update runs on Marshmallow OS
So please Can you help me flash my Le 1 pro with the perfect ROM by giving me the Right ROM and the method to flash it.
Hi, Im using a Letv Le 1 Pro, Phone itself is phenomenal. Screen kinda sucks but something i can live with for this range of price.
About malware, I successfully removed every malware from phone in this method.

Download the update.zip from this post. Put it in your fone, Restart to Recovery and install update.zip. thats all, all your personel data will be untouched. You'll get the phone cleaned off malwares and some new apps like Yahoo Weather will be installed.
I didnt try installing custom ROMs becuase I tried doing it on the other Le 1 pro i had and ended up killing the phone. tho you can try those as well.
Good Luck and hope you have a good experience
Edit: Forgot to mention that Youtube app works perfect in the updated ROM, GPS works more accurately as well (for me atleast )

Thanks my friend , so the clean stock rom has only gps accuracy problem , what about IR blaster is it working also the double tape to wake, free Ram available , performance, camera , wifi data connection , battery endurance ??
GPS works okay. Takes some time to lock on. There is no double tap feature, Free ram, i have lots of apps around and mostly have over a gb of free ram. Your new fone will have over 2.4 gb free ram with pre installed apps. Performance is great, Camera is pretty decent especially the front cam. I have wifi problem in my phone, only works fluid with bluetooth switched on, on the other one its works fine. Battery is not as good as i expected but its OK... Im happy with over all performance of the phone...
